Serial #'s

1. Remove and dis ard the ba k mount s rews (four on ba k
without angle option, six on ba k with angle option) lo ated
as shown below.
2. Grasp both sides of the seat pan and tip it up and forward
to disengage it from the protrusions at the front of the seat.
3. Dis onne t swit h wiring if present.
4. Mount existing swit h (if present) and hardware to new
seat.
5. Reinstall the seat pan assembly in reverse order.
6. Re onne t the swit h wiring if present.
7. Before installing the ba krest s rews, be sure the front
seat frame protrusions fit the holes provided in the seat to
se ure it down. (Che k for engagement by lifting up on
the front of the seat.)
8. Fasten ba krest with four or six tapping s rews. Torque
s rews to 9 ft-lbs (12 Nm).
9. Verify proper operation of swit h (if present) before putting
into servi e.
