–The controls for the maintenance and
service are light gray.
Open lid of filter chamber.
Slide the filter bag into the basket with
the opening facing the connecting hub.
Push the opening of the filter bag over
the connection nozzle.
Close the lid of filter chamber.
Wrap the mains cable of the appliance
around the three cable holders.
Remove the entire mains cable by turn-
ing the rotating cable holder.
Swivel the pushing handle lock to the
outside, set the desired pushing handle
height and close the lock.

Large waste such as cardboard cups,
cardboard plates, strings and similar
objects must be picked up prior to vac-
uuming.
Insert the mains plug into the socket.
Set the appliance switch to "ON".
Ride along the surface to be cleaned
with a suitable, even speed.
Heavysoilingmust be workedon sever-
al times or slower.
Caution
Risk of damage to the floor covering. Do
not operate the appliance on the spot.
Due to the one-sided arrangement of
the brushes, the right side of the appli-
ance can clean all the way to the edge.
If the display for a full filter bag is illumi-
nated, switch the appliance off and re-
place the filter bag.
Caution
Risk of injury and damage! Observe the
weight of the appliance when you transport
it.
When transporting in vehicles, secure
the appliance according to the guide-
lines from slipping and tipping over.

This appliance must only be stored in inte-
rior rooms.
Danger
Firstpull outthe plugfrom themains before
carrying out any tasks on the machine.
If needed, shake the contents of the fil-
ter bag downward.
Check the mains connection cable for
damages. Replace the defective mains
cable.
Clean below the appliance.
Remove fibres, hair and strings from
the brush rollers.
Check and clean seals, replace dam-
aged seals.
Clean brushes and check for wear and
tear.
Thebrushesare consideredworn,ifthe
bristles have the same length as the
yellow indicator bristles.
Clean the motor protection filter on the
bottom of the filter chamber and check
for damage.
Remove the wheels, clean the axles
and apply a thin coat of silicone grease.
Open lid of filter chamber.
Pull the filter bag off the connection hub
and remove them from the appliance.
Insert new filter bag (see "Replacing fil-
ter bag").

Disconnect the main plug from the
socket.
Tilt the appliance backward and store it
on the pushing handle.

Bend the locking plate outward and pull
the bearing block out from the bottom.
Pullthe brushrolleroff thedriver andre-
move.
Pull the bearing block off the brush roll-
er.
Note
The front and rear brush rollers are differ-
ent. In order to achieve the best cleaning
effect, the brushes must be installed cor-
rectly.Thecorrectassemblyisindicatedon
the bottom of the appliance:
The indicated part numbers (PN) are listed
on the driver side of the brush rollers.
Insert the bearing block onto the new
brush roller.
Insert the brush roller onto the driver
and turn until the driver pin locks into
the brush.
Insert the bearing block into the appli-
ance and push in far enough for the
locking plate to lock into place.
Repeat process on the second brush
roller.
Note
Always replace brushes in pairs.

Check facility fuse.
Reset the brush drive fuse on the con-
trol panel.
Gear defective, contact Customer Ser-
vice.
Reset the suction turbine fuse on the
control panel.

Reset the suction turbine fuse on the
control panel.
Filter bag is full; the indicator 'filter bag
full' glows. Replace filter bag.
Removethebrushrollers(see"Replace
brush rollers"), clean suction channel in
the brush head and check the suction
hose.

caused by faulty material or defects in man-
ufacturing. In the event of a warranty claim
please contact your dealer or the nearest
