Note:
To avoid electric shock, fire or injury, please read the user manual carefully before using the appliance
and keep it for future reference.
This appliance is for household use only. Please use suitable power source. (Please refer to
SPECIFICATION)
Never immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
Do not use the appliance under direct sunshine.
Please turn off the appliance when not in use otherwise it may result in danger.
Please turn off the appliance and unplug the socket when unattended otherwise it may result in danger.
Keep the appliance away from children.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.
With any indication of malfunction, please stop using the appliance immediately to avoid hazard. Contact
the authorized service center for repair. Do not attempt to repair or change any parts by yourself.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly
qualified persons in order to avoid hazards.
Please turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.
Clean the surface of the appliance with a dry cloth. Do not use corrosive detergent or solvent to clean.
Do not swash the appliance with water.
Please turn off and unplug the appliance when not in use. Make sure the power is off before pulling out
the plug. Do not pull the cord.
When the appliance is not in use for a prolonged period, please turn it off, unplug it, pack it well, and
store it in dry cool place.
Forbid to put flammable and explosive objects around the appliance, and do not use the appliance in an
environment full of flammable gas and powder. Keep away from any fire and heat sources.
Please put the power cord in the right place in order to avoid tripping the appliance over.
Do not put any objects on the appliance or put the appliance below a socket-outlet.
Please keep the air inlet and the air outlet unblocked to minimize the risk of fire or malfunction.
Ensure no water or raindrop leaks into the appliance in order to avoid electric shock. Do not put flammable
objects or wet clothes on the air outlet in order to avoid short circuit or fire.
Please do not place the air inlet or the air outlet near to curtains or walls when operation because it will
block the air current and cause fire. The appliance should be installed at minimum distant of 10 cm from
the wall or other obstacles.
To prevent spillage, please empty the water tank before relocating the appliance.
Do not tip the appliance to any side as escaping water could damage the appliance.
Please do not insert fingers or any objects into the air inlet or the air outlet in order to avoid electric
shock.
After a period of operation, abnormal noise and uneven air volume may appeared because of dust blocking
airflow. It will disappear after cleaning the dustproof filter.
Do not use any bug sprays or other flammable cleaners on the appliance.
Do not use the appliance at any spillage area. When any water spilled/dropped into the appliance, it may
weaken the electrical insulation and may cause a fire or electric shock.
Do not use the appliance for a prolonged period at high humidity environment because it will affect the
operation and the insulating ability.
Please close windows before operation but, make sure the appliance is located in a ventilated area in
order to help the appliance to release heat. Do not place the appliance in a narrow and confined space
(such as closet).
After the power is off, please wait for 3 minutes before restarting the appliance to protect the compressor.
Please perform regular maintenance such as cleaning the air filter and checking the water tube.
The appliance must not be used to save the artwork, academic materials and other special purposes.
To avoid any malfunction or damage, do not tilt or place the appliance horizontally under any situation.

OPERATION INSTRUCTION
*Connect the power cord to the correct power supply. The power indicator will be on and the dehumidifier
will be in standby mode.

ON/OFF button
Press the ON/OFF button to turn on the dehumidifier. The mode indicator “Cont” will be on. “50%”
will be displayed on the LCD display for about 10 seconds, and the room humidity will be displayed
afterwards. The preset mode is Cont, dehumidifying by 50% and high fan speed. In dry mode, speed
cannot adjust. The fan speed indicator will not be on. Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off
the dehumidifier.
Timer button
Auto on timer (1-24 hours) setting - Press the Timer button in standby mode, the timer indicator will
be on, and the LCD display will show the set auto on time. The original set value is 00h. Press the
timer button again to set the auto on time. For each press, the set auto on time will be increased by 1
hour. The maximum set auto on time is 24 hours. The LCD display will be off after 5 seconds. Auto
on timer setting will be completed. The appliance will start operation by the present time.
Auto off timer setting - Press the Timer button during operation, the timer indicator will be on, and
the LCD display will show the set auto off time. The original set value is 00h. Press the timer button
again to set the auto off time. For each press, the set auto off time will be increased by 1 hour. The
maximum set auto off time is 24 hours. The LCD display will return to the room humidity after 5
seconds. Auto off timer setting will be completed. The appliance will stop operation by the preset time.
Note: Press the timer button to increase the set auto on/off time until it has turned back to 00h to
cancel the timer setting. The timer indicator will be off.
Humidity button
Humidity setting can only be performed under Auto mode. Press the humidity button to set the
humidity. For each press of the Humidity button, the humidity will be increased by 10%¸ from
30-80%. The LCD display will be returned to the room humidity after 5 seconds. Humidity setting
will be completed. Humidity control system will be started in 5 minutes after start-up. If the setting
-up humidity is about 10% higher than the actual humidity, the compressor will be stopped with the
fan keep working. If the setting-up humidity is about 5% lower than actual humidity, the compressor
will be restarted.
Mode button
Press the Mode button to select different operating modes, press once to change the modes among
Auto, Cont and Dry.
Auto mode: The Auto mode indicator and the fan speed (High) indicator will be on. The fan speed
can be adjusted. If there is no set humidity, the appliance will maintain ranging from
40%-60%, subject to the ambient temperature level. If there is a set humidity, the
appliance will operate accordingly.
Cont mode: The Cont mode indicator and the fan speed (High) indicator will be on. The fan speed
can be adjusted. The appliance will continue to dehumidify until the humidity is
decreased to below 20% or water tank full.
Dry mode: The Dry mode indicator will be on. The fan will operate in high fan speed. The appliance
will continue to work and stabilize the humidity to avoid mildew after finished drying.
Under dry mode, the fan speed and the humidity cannot be adjusted and the fan speed
indicator will not be on.

Fan Speed button
Press the Fan Speed button to set the fan speed: high, medium, low. The fan speed can be adjusted
under Auto mode and Cont mode only.
Filter clean
When the filter clean indicator is on, please clean the filter. After the filter is cleaned and installed, press
the Fan Speed button and the Humidity button simultaneously. The filter clean indicator will be off.
Child lock
Press the Mode button and the Timer button simultaneously for 1 second to activate the child lock
protection. “LC” will be displayed. Press the Mode button and the Timer button simultaneously
for 1 second again to release the function.
Memory Function
The appliance will be operated by the mode set before shutdown, but the set humidity level will be
50% and timer function will be off.
If unplugging the appliance directly or power cut, the timer setting will continue to run when
reconnect the power supply and press the ON/OFF button again to turn on the appliance.

The humidity setting should not be set higher than the ambient humidity to operation.
When the water tank is full or the water tank has not been put on the correct positions for about 3
minutes, the buzzer will be buzzing and the water tank full indicator will be flashing. Please
drain the water, and/or install the empty water tank back to its position. The appliance will return
to standby mode and you can restart the operation by pressing the ON/OFF button.
The operational temperature range of this appliance is 5ºC-35ºC.
If the plug and power supply are in normal condition, and the dehumidifier does not start, please
unplug to wait for 10 minutes and restart the appliance (as it takes around 10 minutes to reposition).
If the appliance still does not start after 10 minutes, please contact the service center.
When the dehumidifier is in operation, the running compressor will get hot and the room
temperature will be increased. This is normal.
The dehumidifying function will stop immediately after shutdown, but there is a small amount of
water will be discharged from the drain hole. When the appliance is not in use for a prolonged
period, please place it for one day before package and storage.
DRAINAGE INSTRUCTION

Do not remove the water tank when the appliance is in operation or has just stopped.
Do not use the water tube if using the water tank to collect water. When the hose is connected,
water will be drained out through it instead of into the water tank.
While the water tank is full, the buzzer will be buzzing for 10 seconds and the water tank full
indicator will be on. The compressor and the fan will stop operating. Please empty the water tank.
*Please turn off and unplug the appliance before removing the water tank.

Note:
Hold the handles on both sides of the water tank and pull it out. (Fig. 1)
Pull out the water tank carefully to avoid the water spilling out from the water tank.

CONTINUOUS DRAINAGE

Turn off and unplug the appliance.
Take off the drain cover and remove the drainage plug in anti-clockwise direction. (Fig. 4)

3. Insert the water tank gently back into the appliance. (Fig. 3)

3. Remove the drainage gasket from the drain outlet, then rotate the drainage adapter into the
continuous draining outlet in clockwise direction. Please check whether the drain outlet is in good
condition. (Fig. 5)
4. Connect a 14mm inner diameter water tube to the drain outlet. The horizontal height of the water tube
should not be higher than the drain outlet. Do not block the drain outlet to make sure the condensation
water can be drained out smoothly. Please check the drain outlet and the water tube periodically to
see whether they are connected tightly and whether they are damaged or blocked. (Fig. 6)
* Please purchase the water tube separately.

Note:
When using the water tank to drain water, please re-assemble the drainage gasket and the drainage
plug. Otherwise, leakage may occur.
The water tube may be frozen in cold weather which will affect the drainage.
Please make sure to install the water tube and avoid bending. If the drainage is not smooth, it may
cause water leakage and wet the floors or furnitures.
Do not use the appliance continuously for a long time in order to avoid overheat and to cause
mechanical damage or hazard.

Cleaning the body

Use soft cloths to clean the appliance.
Do not use volatile chemicals, gasoline, detergents, chemically treated cloths, or other cleansing
solutions. All these could possibly hurt the cabinet.

*Please turn off and unplug the appliance before cleaning or maintenance.
Cleaning the air filter
1. Press the panel buttons on the bottom of the panel (left and right) to release the panel, then push it
upward to remove it. (Fig. 7)

Note:
Remove the air filter from the air inlet grille.
Clean the air filter with vacuum cleaner or tap filter lightly for cleaning and let it dry naturally.
Insert the clasp at the lower part of the air filter into the appliance and then press the air filter
downwards until you have heard a sound. After that, re-assemble the panel.
Do not expose the filter to sunlight to avoid deforming the filter.
Do not operate the dehumidifier without a filter. Otherwise the evaporator will get dirty and affect
the dehumidifying performance and may cause a fire hazard.

Storage
If the appliance is not used for a prolonged period of time, please:

Note:
Empty the water tank completely and wipe it clean and dry.
Unplug the appliance and tidy the power cord.
Clean the air filter.
Pack it well, and store it in dry cool place.
To avoid any malfunction or damage, do not tilt or place the appliance horizontally when storage.

TROUBLESHOOTING
THE APPLIANCE DOES NOT OPERATE:
Is the appliance plugged in?
Is the house electricity on?
Is the room temperature below 5ºC or above 35ºC? If so, it is out of the working range of the
appliance.
Ensure the ON/OFF switch is turned on.
Check the water tank if it is positioned properly in the appliance, and make sure it is not full.
Make sure the air inlet and outlet are not obstructed.
THE APPLIANCE SEEMS TO DO NOTHING:
Q: Is the filter dusty or contaminated?
A: Remove the filter and clean it with warm water (below 40ºC) every 2 weeks. Let it dry
naturally and replace it.
Q: Is the air intake or outlet blocked up?
A: Please move the object away from the air intake or outlet.
Q: Is the room humidity already quite low?
A: The dehumidifier shall not operate if the humidity setting is higher than the ambient
humidity.
Q: Is the room temperature too low?
A: The appliance will start to defrost from 5ºC-15ºC. Compressor will stop for a brief period
of time (fan will operate in high fan speed). When it finishes defrosting, it will be back to
normal operation.
THE APPLIANCE SEEMS TO OPERATE NON-STOP:
Q: Do the windows or doors open?
A: Please close the windows or doors when operating the dehumidifier.
Q: Is the area to be dehumidified too large for the capacity of the appliance?
A: Limit the area to dehumidify.
Q: Is there something in the room producing lots of humidity?
A: Please put these stuffs into another room, close the toilet lid and cover every glass of water.
THE APPLIANCE IS TOO NOISY:
Noise will rise if compressor has just started.
Power supply problem.
Check whether the appliance is standing on a level surface.
During operation or changing modes, there is a swooshing sound. This is due to the sound of the
flow of refrigerant and is normal.
There might be some noise if the appliance is operating on wooden floor.

THE APPLIANCE IS LEAKING:
Make sure the appliance is working in good condition and does not tilt in position.
If you are not using continuous drainage, make sure the water tank is empty or not full.
There may be water remain in the water tank as a result of the water evaporation during the
dehumidifying test carried out in the factory.
THE APPLIANCE HAS MUSTY-ODOR
Due to the temperature rising of heat exchanger, the air may have some strange smell at the
beginning.
