The TV picture is spotty or freezes.
Reboot the set-top box. To do this, simply unplug the power
cord to the box, and wait 10 seconds. Plug the power cord
back in and look for the Amino start up screen, followed by
the Minerva start up screen.
Not all channels appear in guide / not available when channel surfing.
Press guide button repeatedly until you see Subscribed as a guide option located on the
left side of the screen.
The Kalona TV on-screen guide has four options: All, Subscribed, HD, and PPV.
- All lists all channels whether you subscribe to them or not.
- Subscribed lists only those channels that you subscribe to.
- HD lists only HD channels.
- PPV lists only Pay Per View channels.
Example: If the HD option is chosen you will not see standard channels in the guide, nor
will they be available when channel surfing. It is recommended that you choose
Subscribed as the default guide. If channels are still missing, reboot your STB to restore
Caller ID, DVR, Call History, and other information not available.
Press the Menu button. Choose the "Sign Out" option if your name does not appear in the
left-hand side of the menu.
You will then be asked to sign in. If your name does not appear in the Name section, use
the directional arrows on the remote to highlight the Name section. Arrows should appear
above and below. Press the up or down arrow on the remote and choose your name from
the list. Press ok.
Select the password box and enter “1234” and press ok. If you see a settings screen rather
than live TV, press the exit button on your remote.
Press the Menu button. Your name should now appear in the left-hand side of the menu.
