1. PlacetheG40chillerundercounterwithminimumof100mmclearancearoundallairvents.
Failuretoallowadequatecoolingwillreduceperformanceandincreasethepower
consumption.
2. Fillthetankswithglycolorwater.(Useglycoltoachievesub‐zerotemperatures).Aratioof20%
glycolwillgiveyouafreezingpointofapproximately‐8C.Glycolissoldin5LitreContainers
(Part#8336)soinordertoachieve20%glycolconcentrationpourin2x5Litrecontainersof
glycol.Filltheglycol/waterintothetankatposition(K)shownbelow.
3. Attachyourproduct/beerlinestotheinputandoutputtubes(A)and(B).TheG40machinecan
haveupto4differentproductsdispensedatonceprovidedthatthelinesarenotdoubled‐up.
Eachtimetheproductpassesthroughoneoftheproductlinesitwilldropintemperatureby
approximately15‐20Cdependingontheflowspeedandsettemperature.Ifyourkegsare
storedabove25Citisidealtodoubleupthelines.Ifyouwanttodoubleuptheproductlines
thisbasicallyjustmeanstheproductentersoneofthecoilsatposition(A)thenexitsoutof
position(B)andinsteadofbeingdirectedtothebeertapitthenentersthechilleragainand
thereforoccupiesanotheroneofyourcoolingcoils.Bydoublinguptheproductlinesyouwill
onlybeabletodispenseatotalof2productsnot4.
4. Attachingglycol/coolantlines.ThisG40
Chillerincludesacoolant/glycolpumpthat
canbeusedtocirculatetheglycolthrough
yourpythontubingand/orfloodyourbeer
font.Thisenablesyoutochill/freezeyour
fontandbeertapsontopofthebar.Attach
hosestoposition(C)and(D).Oncethepump
turnsonthecoolant/glycolinthetankwill
startcirculating.
5. Theimpeller/pumponthismachine(position
(J))ismountedundertheservicecover.The
impellerpumpispoweredusingtheexternal
socketatposition(E).Connectthepower
plug.Theimpellerpumpisdesignedtorun
continuously.
