c. Turnthestageplatelock screw one totwoturnscounterclockwise.
Carefullyremovethestageplate,the lampholderforthebottomlight
sourceshouldnowbein view and accessible.
d.Gentlypullup on thelamptounclip thefusetypebulb fromthe
holder.Pressthe new lampintoplace.
e.Replacethestageplate.Tightenthe Stage Platelock screw until
snug.Do not overtighten.
ReplacementofUpperLightSource
a.Unplug themicroscope fromthe walloutlet.
b.Withmicroscope facing you lookon theright sideofthe upperlight
coverhousing.Locatetheupperlighthousinglock screw and turnit
counterclockwise. Completelyremovethe screw.
c.Pull down onthe upperlight covertoremoveitfromthebracket.
Gentlyremovethelampfromthelampholder.Pushnew lampintothe
holder.
e.Replacethecoverand the coverlockscrew.Takecarethatthe
lampispositionedin thecenterof the lampholdertoavoidcontactwith
the lock screw.

withoptical lenstissue whichissoft andlint free.Paintedsurfacescan
be cleaned withamoistenedcloth.

UseStereomicroscopesforviewing largerspecimens. Oureasy to
view, high qualityVisionScopeswill magnifythe object10 to80 times.
TheT-2200 seriesandthe T-2600 hasfluorescentlight below the stage,
whichkeepsyourspecimencool,andthe halogen incident lightabove
adjustsformoreclarity.The T-2400 hasbothupperand lowertungsten
lamps.Withourvalue pricedT-2400, T-2200seriesandT-2600
Stereomicro-scopeyou’ll find aScope tomeetyourneeds.
MICROSCOPEPREPARATION
Allthesemodelsarecompletelyassembled.RemovetheVision
Scope fromthe packingand anyprotectivecoveringsfromthe lenses.
Unpack the eyecupsand slip themoverthe eyepieces.
Placehead in supportringon base (excluding T-2400model).
Carefullycheck thethumbscrewstobe surethatthehead isfirmly
attached tothe base.
Checkthecoarsefocustension (T-2200series&T-2600).The
knobsareoversized weredesigned forbettergripping.Thecoarsefocus
knobshould turneasilytochange the focus.Notethat the armwill move
up and downwhen focusing. Onthe T-2400 coarseadjustmentisthe
singleknobatthe back ofthe pillartoraiseorlowerviewinghead and
fine adjustmentismade withthe 2knobson eitherside ofthe viewing
head.
OPERATION
a. Placethe specimen you areviewing in thecenterofthe stage.
b.Accuratelyalign the objectivelens.Movethe focusknobuntilthe
specimencomesintoview. Notethat the viewing head willmoveupand
down when focusing.
c.Theeyepiecetubeswill spread apartorget closertogethertofit
eachindividual.Placeone hand on botheyepiecetubesand gently
movethemin oroutfromeachotheruntil you see asingle image with
botheyes.
d.Adjustthedioptertoadjustthefocusforindividual viewing.
e. Turnoff thepowerswitchbeforeconnectingthe powercordlocated
onthe sideofthemicroscope.The Vision Scopesareequipped withan
upperand lowerilluminationsystem. Theupperlightisavariableinten-
sityhalogen lightand the lowerlight isafluorescentlight(Excluding
model T-2400).The switchforthe light isathree position switchsothat
the upperlightcanbe on, orthe lowerlightcan be on,orbothlightscan
beilluminated(Excluding model T-2400).
f.Usethedimmerswitchlocated on thesidetoadjustthetransmitted
light(Excluding model T-2400).
BULBREPLACEMENT (ForT-2200 series&T-2600)
a. Beforechanging thetop illuminatorbulb,makesurethat the power
switchisoff andthe powercordhasbeendisconnected fromthemain
supply.Ifupperlamphasbeen on forsometime,thehousing andbulb
could be hot.Usecaution whenchangingthe bulb.
b. Using Philipsscrewdriver,removethe fourscrewsthatholdon
the feet.
c.Removethe bottomplatefromthe unit.
d. Graspthebulb and gentlypullthebulb fromthesocket.Replace
withnewbulb bypushingbulb intosocket.
e. Using asoft cloth, clean bulb toremovefingerprintsoroilafter
installationtoinsurelong life.
f.Replacethe bottomcover.Screw thefourfeetintopositionateach
cornerofthebase.
