Proper disposal of your appliance

•Have refrigerant removed by a qualified

For Your Safety

Your old unit may ave a cooling system
t at used CFCs or HCFCs (c lorofluoro-
carbons or ydroc lorofluorocarbons).
CFCs and HCFCs are believed to arm
stratosp eric ozone if released to t e
atmosp ere. Ot er refrigerants may cause
arm to t e environment if released to t e
atmosp ere. If you are t rowing away
your old unit, make sure t e refrigerant is
removed for proper disposal by a
qualified tec nician. If you intentionally
release refrigerant, you may be subject to
fines and imprisonment under t e
provisions of environmental legislation.
•Performance may be affected if t e
voltage varies by 10% or more.
Operating t e unit wit insufficient
power can damage t e motor. Suc
damage is not covered under t e
warranty.
•Do not plug t e unit into an outlet
controlled by a wall switc or pull cord
to prevent t e appliance from being
turned off accidentally.
•Avoid connecting unit to a Ground
Fault Circuit Interruptor (GFCI).
W RNING
These guidelines must be followed to
ensure that safety mechanisms in this
unit will operate properly.
Electrical Information
•The unit must be plugged into its own
dedicated 10 amp minimum, 115 Volt, 60
Hz, C only electric outlet. T e power
cord of t e appliance is equipped wit a
t ree-prong grounding plug to protect
against s ock azards. It must be plugged
directly into a properly grounded t ree-
prong receptacle. T e receptacle must be
installed in accordance wit local codes
and ordinances. Consult a qualified
electrician. Do not use an extension cord
or adapter plug.
•Immediately repair or replace any power
cord t at becomes frayed or damaged.
•Never unplug t e appliance by pulling
on t e power cord. Always grip t e plug
firmly, and pull straig t out from t e
receptacle to prevent damaging t e
power cord.
•Unplug t e appliance before cleaning
and before defrosting to avoid
electrical s ock.

ppliance Setup
T is Use & Care Guide provides specific
operating instructions for your model. Use
t e unit only as instructed in t is Use & Care
Guide. Before starting the appliance, follow
these important setup steps.
Installation
•C oose a place t at is near a grounded
electrical outlet. Do Not use an extension
cord or an adapter plug.
•For t e most efficient operation, t e
freezer s ould be located w ere
surrounding temperatures will not exceed
110°F (43°C). Temperatures of 32°F (0°C)
and below will NOT affect freezer
operation. Additional compressor eaters
are not recommended.
•Allow space around t e unit for good air
circulation. Leave a 1-inc (25.4 mm)
space at t e back and on top and a
3/8-inc (9.5 mm) space on t e sides of
t e appliance for adequate circulation.
Leveling
T e freezer must ave all bottom corners
resting firmly on a solid floor t at is strong
enoug to support a fully loaded freezer.
It is Very Important for t e appliance to be
level in order to function properly. If not
level, t e door may be misaligned and not
close or seal properly, causing cooling,
frost, or moisture problems.
T e appliance is equipped wit adjustable
front leveling feet. Turn t e foot clockwise
to raise t e side of t e unit. Turn counter-
clockwise to lower t e side. Adjust eac side
as needed until front of unit is level. Also
adjust so t at front of t e unit is 1/4˝ ig er
t an back, so t at door stays closed.
Door Handle Installation

•Place t e oles in t e andle ends
over t e andle attac ment bolts on t e
front of t e door and slide andle down.
Mount andle so t at set screw oles
face t e near edge of door.
•Using t e supplied ex key, tig ten t e
set screws in t e andle ends to secure
t e andle to t e bolts.
•Pus t e screw caps into t e set screw
oles to cover t e screws.
Cleaning
•Was any removable parts, t e freezer
interior, and exterior wit mild detergent
and warm water. Wipe dry. Do not use
harsh cleaners on these surfaces.
•Do not use razor blades or ot er s arp
instruments, w ic can scratc t e ap-
pliance surface w en removing ad esive
labels. Glue left from t e tape can be
removed wit a mixture of warm water
and mild detergent, or touc t e residue
wit t e sticky side of tape already re-
moved. Do not remove t e serial plate.
Freezer Mode Energy Saving Ideas
T e freezer s ould be
located in t e coolest area
of t e room, away from
eat producing appliances
or eating ducts, and out
of direct sunlig t.
•Let ot foods cool to room temperature
before placing in freezer. Overloading
t e freezer forces t e compressor to run
longer. Foods t at freeze too slowly may
lose quality or spoil.

•Be sure to wrap foods properly, and
wipe containers dry before placing
t em in t e freezer. T is cuts down on
frost build-up inside t e freezer.
•Do not line freezer s elves and bins
wit aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper
toweling. Liners interfere wit cold air
circulation, reducing freezer efficiency.
•Organize and label food to reduce lid
openings and avoid extended searc es.
•Remove as many items as needed at one
time, and close door as soon as possible.

•T e interior temperature of t is appliance
can be set so t at t e entire unit can be
used as eit er a Freezer or a Refrigerator.
•To turn t e appliance on, plug t e power
cord into a properly grounded 3 prong
electrical outlet. T e green Power On
lig t located on t e temperature control
will illuminate.
•For safe food storage, after plugging in
allow two ours if used as a refrigerator and
four ours if used as a freezer for t e
appliance to cool down completely to t e
set temperature. T e compressor will run
continuously for t e first several ours.
•Foods t at are already frozen may be
placed in t e freezer after t e first few
ours of operation. Unfrozen foods s ould
NOT be loaded into t e freezer until t e
freezer as operated for four ours.
•W en loading t e freezer, freeze only
t ree pounds of fres food per cubic foot
of freezer space at one time. Distribute
packages to be frozen evenly t roug out
t e freezer.

T e temperature control is located on t e
door exterior. It is an electronic pus -key
control wit a digital readout display.
Lock Key [G]
T e control must be unlocked for any of
t e operation keys to work. Press and old
t e Lock Key for t ree seconds to unlock
t e control panel. You will ear a c ime,
t e Lock Key icon will lig t and t e
numerals of t e temperature setting will
begin to flas in t e display [E]. If no ot er
key is pressed wit in 30 seconds t e
control will auto-matically lock. Note: If
t e panel is locked and any operation key
is pressed, t e Lock Key will illuminate as a
reminder to unlock.

Freezer – Fridge Key [H]
T e appliance may be operated as a
Freezer or Refrigerator. Press and old t e
Freezer – Fridge key for t ree seconds to
convert from one operation mode to t e
ot er. A blue dot will illuminate next to
eit er Freezer or Fridge to indicate t e
mode.
Quick Freeze Key [F]
W en in freezer operation mode, press and
quickly release t e Quick Freeze key to set
t e temperature to t e maximum freezing
point of 11°F (24°C). T e Quick Freeze icon
will illuminate, and t e freezer will operate
for t ree ours at maximum coldness before
it automatically returns to t e previously set
temperature. If t e freezer is unable to
ac ieve maximum coldenss wit in 24 ours,
it will also automatically return to t e
previous setting.
Temp Decrease [C] and Increase [D] Keys
Press t e temperature decrease and
increase keys to lower or raise t e
appliance interior temperature. T e
numerical reading in t e display will lower
or raise by single digit increments as t e
key is pressed.
Fahrenheit – Centigrade conversion
Press and old t e Temp Decrease [C] and
Increase [D] keys at t e same time for 3
seconds. You will ear a c ime and t e
displayed temperature reading will c ange
from one system of notation to t e ot er.
Notes:
•T e temperature default setting for
Freezer mode is 0°F (-18°C), and for
Refrigerator mode 41°F (5°C).
•T e adjustment range for t e Freezer is
from 10°F (-12°C) to -11°F (-24°C).
•T e adjustment range for t e Refrigerator
is from 46°F (8°C) to 35°F (2°C).
Door Open Indicator [B]
W en t e door is open t e indicator
illuminates. If t e door is open for more
t an 5 minutes, t e indicator will blink
and a c ime will sound to alert you to
close t e door.
High Temp lert Indicator [ ]
Refrigerator mode: Indicator will blink and
c ime will sound if interior temperature
exceeds 59°F (15°C) for 36 ours. W en
temperature drops below 54°F (12°C) t e
alert s uts off.
Freezer mode: Indicator will blink and
c ime will sound if interior temperature
exceeds 18°F (-8°C) for 36 ours. W en
temperature drops below 10°F (-12°C) t e
alert s uts off.
Fault codes
If one of t e following fault codes appears
in t e display, call 1-844-553-6667 to
sc edule repair service.

E2 Interior temp sensor failure
E5 Defrost sensor failure
E6 Communication error
E7 Ambient temp sensor failure
utomatic Defrost
T e appliance is equipped wit automatic
defrost capability so t at you do not ave
to manually defrost. T e cooling element
of t e unit is regularly eated to melt
t e frost t at forms on it. T e resulting
water drains t roug a duct at t e back
of t e unit and into a concealed pan at
t e base of t e unit w ere it evaporates.
S ould any frost form on t e unit interior
walls, remove food and store it elsew ere.
T en unplug t e unit, wait long enoug for
t e frost to melt, and wipe up t e moisture
wit a dry towel.
Rear Wheels
T e appliance is equipped wit rear
w eels to elp you roll it into or out of a
location. C UTION: Obtain t e aid of an
assistant if t e appliance feels too eavy
for you to safely move it.
Interior LED Lighting
T e appliance features interior LED lig ting,
w ic is more effective and longer lasting
t an incandescent bulbs. However, in t e
unlikely event t at t e LED fails to lig t,
call 1-844-553-6667 to sc edule repair
service to replace it.

Care & Cleaning
C UTION
Damp objects stick to cold metal
surfaces. Do not touch inferior metal
surfaces with wet or damp hands.
Cleaning the Inside
Was inside surfaces of t e appliance
wit a solution of two tablespoons of
baking soda in one quart (1.1 liters) warm
water. Rinse and dry. Wring excess
water out of t e sponge or clot w en
cleaning in t e area of t e controls, or
any electrical parts.
Was t e removable parts and baskets
wit t e baking soda solution mentioned
above, or mild detergent and warm
water.
Never use metallic scouring pads, brus es,
abrasive cleaners, or alkaline solutions on
any interior surface. Do not was
removable parts in a dis was er.
Cleaning Door Bins
To remove t e door bins for cleaning, use
bot ands to squeeze t e tray in from
bot ends and pus upward.
Cleaning the Outside
Was t e cabinet wit warm water and
mild liquid detergent. Rinse well and wipe
dry wit a clean soft clot . Never use
metallic scouring pads, brus es, abrasive
cleaners, or alkaline solutions on any
exterior surface.
Vacation and Moving Tips
W RNING
If leaving the appliance door open while
on vacation, make certain that children
cannot get into the freezer and become
entrapped.
Short Vacations: Leave t e appliance
operating during vacations of less t an
t ree weeks.
Long Vacations: If t e appliance will not
be used for several mont s:
•Remove all food and unplug t e
power cord.
•Clean and dry t e interior t oroug ly.
•Leave t e appliance door open slig tly,
blocking it open if necessary, to prevent
odor and mold growt .
Moving: W en moving t e appliance,
follow t ese guidelines to prevent damage:
•Disconnect t e power cord plug from
t e wall outlet.
•Remove foods and clean t e
appliance interior.
•Secure all loose items suc as bins
and s elves by taping t em securely
in place to prevent damage.
•In a moving ve icle, secure freezer in an
uprig t position to prevent movement.
Also protect outside of freezer wit a
blanket, or similar item.
NOTE
If unit is turned off or unplugged for
several ours, do not open appliance
door unnecessarily. T is will maintain t e
coldest temperature inside and reduce
t e recovery time to desired temperature
once t e unit is turned back on.

Power or ppliance Failure
f a power failure occurs, frozen foods will
stay frozen for at least 24 ours if t e
appliance door is kept closed. If t e power
failure continues, pack seven or eig t
pounds of dry ice into t e appliance every
24 ours. Look in t e Yellow Pages under
Dry Ice, Dairies, or Ice Cream
manufacturers for local dry ice suppliers.
Always wear gloves and use caution w en
andling dry ice.
f the appliance has stopped operating,
see Appliance does not run in t e
Troubles ooting Guide. If you cannot solve
t e problem, call an aut orized servicer
immediately. If t e appliance remains off
for several ours, follow t e directions
above for t e use of dry ice during a
power failure. If necessary, take t e food
to a local locker plant until t e appliance
is ready to operate. Look in t e Yellow
Pages under Frozen Food Locker Plants.
