HOW TO OPERATE
• Fit the blender shaft to the power handle. Turn and Lock
• Plug in to the power socket
• Place the food into the beaker or a similar container.
Hold the beaker steady, select the required speed then
press the on/off switch. (Select a low speed for slower
blending and to reduce splashing; select a high speed
or press turbo button for faster blending). You can also
blend food directly in a cooking pot or a saucepan as
you like
• To avoid splashing, place the KENT SS Hand Blender
450W in the food before switching on
• Do not let liquid get above the joint between the power
handle and blender shaft
• If your blender gets blocked, unplug before cleaning
• After use, release the detachable shaft and clean before
storing

• With heavy mixtures, don’t use your KENT SS Hand
Blender 450W for longer than 30 seconds. A duration of
4 continous minutes or more might cause overheating.
• Care must be taken when handling the detachable shaft
during cleaning, as it has sharp blades
• Only use your KENT SS Hand Blender 450W for its
intended domestic use
CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning it
• Wipe the main unit with a moist cloth and a non-abrasive
liquid cleaner
• Do not immerse the power handle in water or any other
liquid
• Never put any part of the appliance in the dishwasher
• After cleaning the power handle, dry it using a soft cloth
• Ensure that the appliance is completely dry, before
storing it
Note: Never immerse the motor unit (power handle) of the
blender in water, nor rinse it under the tap. Simply wipe it with
a dry cloth.
PRECAUTIONS
• Do not disassemble, repair or alter the machine on your
own. It may cause appliance failure or breakdown
• The input voltage must not exceed the rating; it might
damage the appliance
• Unplug before cleaning or moving the appliance
• Do not use the appliance with damaged power cord
or plug
• If power cord is damaged, replace it with a genuine
KENT spare
• Do not install the machine near any heat source, e.g., heater
• If the appliance is not in use for a longer time, unplug it
• Do not use the appliance when it is in a recumbent or
inclined position

USING KENT SS HAND BLENDER 450W
• Remove any sticker or blade cover that might prevent
the unit from operating properly
• Check the unit for damages. Do not use in case of
any damage
• Before switching on the appliance, make sure that your
home’s mains voltage corresponds to the unit’s
operating voltage
• Clean the parts of the KENT SS Hand Blender 450W
before using the appliance for the first time (see
‘Cleaning & Maintenance’ section)
• Make sure all parts are completely dry before you start
using the appliance
Note: Do not immerse the ‘power handle’ in water or any
