INTRODUCTION
The Kentek Automated Laser Safety Sign Controller (ACM-AUTO™) allows automatic control of one 12VDC powered
device triggered by the ampere draw of the laser. Simply plug the laser into the ACM-AUTO™ and connect its output to
the 12VDC powered device(s), e.g., a warning sign. The minimum ampere draw required to trigger the ACM-AUTO™ is
0.08 amps, and the maximum is 15 amps. The ACM-AUTO™ can provide 12VDC, 300 milliamps to an indicator light or
single status sign. The purpose of this device is to power a single status sign when the connected laser draws current
removing the need for a manual switch to control the sign status.

(1) Red LED indicator light. Active when laser current is within specied parameters.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol, within an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user to the presence
of uninsulated dangerous voltage within the device that may be of sucient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric
shock to persons.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, do not expose this device to rain or moisture. Do not remove
cover; no user serviceable parts inside. Refer servicing to qualied personnel.
All users should read and follow these instructions:
1. Keep instructions readily available.
2. Heed all warnings.
3. Do not use this device near water or outdoors.
4. Clean only with a dry microber cloth.
5. Keep away from heat producing devices, such as radiators.
6. Protect power cord from being a trip hazard, walked on, or pinched, at all wall receptacles and device connections.
7. Only connect to devices that operate within the power range specied by this manual.
8. Refer all servicing to a qualied electrician. Servicing is required when the device has been damaged in any way,
such as a power input or output error, moisture or water damage, physical damage to the unit, or if unit does not
operate as designed.
