How to empty the dust container

To empty the container and prevent
anydirtfromleakingout, we recom-
mend first placing it inside a plastic
bagandemptyingitthere.
• Tocleanthecontainer(A)fully,itis
necessary to disassemble it com-
pletely,asdescribedherebelow:
• removethecompletefilterbyrotat-
ing it anti-clockwise (Fig. 9), and
then remove the underlying filter
(Fig.10).
• removethecompletefilterbyrotat-
ingitclockwise(Fig.11).
important:
Washthefilterincleanwaterwithout
soapordetergents.Itisadvisableto
cleanthefilteratleastevery6months
orinanycase,whensuctionisvisibly
reduced.
• Before using the appliance again,
reassemblethecontainer(A).
• Placethefilterinsidethecontainer
(A)andlockitintoplacebyturning
itanticlockwise.
• Nowrefitthewholedustcontainer
(A)ontotheappliancebody,press-
ing gently until it clicks into place
(Fig.12).
Cleaning the air outlet filter
Thisfilter cleanstheaironelasttime
before it leaves the vacuum cleaner.
Tocleanthefilterproceedasfollows:
• Usethe lever toremovethesmall
hatchonthebackoftheappliance
(Fig.13).
• Clean the filter in cold water and
leaveittodry(Fig.14).
• Refit the clean (or new) air outlet
filter into the grid and return this
totheappliance,pressingitdown
untilitclicksintoplace.

Only wash the filter in clean water,
withoutusingsoapordetergents.
Cleaning the vacuum cleaner
The casing, dust container and filter
seats can be wiped with a damp
cloth if necessary. No liquid must
enterthevacuumcleanerintheproc-
ess. Never use heavy-duty cleaning
substances(stainremovers,thinners)
becausetheycancorrodetheplastic
surfaces.Onlyputtheplugbackinto
themainssocket when you aresure
thatallpartsarethoroughlydry.

Do not lubricate or oil any rotating
parts,sincethiscouldcausedirtand
flufftostickevenfurther
warning:
Itisadvisabletocleanthefilteratleast
every6monthsorinanycase,when
suctionisvisiblyreduced.
Cleaning the brushes
While the appliance is switched on,
move your hand between the bris-
tles on the brush to free them of
anytrapped dust, whichwill thenbe
suckedintothecleaner.
