WARNING!

The user must follow all safety rules and guidelines below or
serious injury or death may occur to the user of the Pedal Quad:
• Always use common sense and safe practices when using the
vehicle. The user must be 3 years old and up, and weigh no
more than 50 lbs (22.7kg).
• This product contains small parts that are for adult assembly
only. Keep small children away when assembling. Remove
and dispose of all protective material and poly bags before
assembly. Be sure to remove all packaging materials and
parts from underneath the car body.
• Riders must always wear a tted helmet that complies with
U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) Standard
CFR 1203.
• Body parts such as hands, legs, hair and clothing can get
caught in moving parts. Never place a body part near a
moving part or wear loose clothing while using the vehicle.
Always wear shoes when using the vehicle.
• Using the vehicle near streets, motor vehicles, drop-offs
such as: steps, water (swimming pools), sloped surfaces,
hills, wet areas, ammable vapors, in alleys, at night or in the
dark could result in an unexpected accident. Always use the
vehicle in a safe, secure environment with continuous adult
supervision.
• Do not use the vehicle in unsafe conditions such as snow,
rain, loose dirt, mud, sand or ne gravel. This may result in
unexpected action such as tip over and skidding.
• Do not use the vehicle in an unsafe manner. Examples include
but are not limited to:
a. Pulling the vehicle with another vehicle or similar device
b. Allowing more than one rider
c. Pushing the user from the back
d. Traveling at an unsafe speed
Safety

User Requirements
The suitable age range for a child using the Pedal Quad is 3 years old
and up. The maximum weight of the child is 50 lbs (22.7kg).
Before using the Pedal Quad the child must understand the vehicle
controls and safety issues. They must also demonstrate the capability
to handle the vehicle and operate its controls. It is the responsibility
of the adult to educate the child, determine if they are t to operate
the vehicle, and supervise the vehicle’s use.
Here are basic safe riding rules you should read aloud to your child
and anyone who may ride the Pedal Quad:
• An adult must always supervise a child that is riding the Pedal Quad.
• Always sit in the seat when using the vehicle.
• Keep your hands, hair and clothes away from moving parts.
Always wear shoes when riding the vehicle.
• Only one rider is allowed at a time.
• Do not drive the vehicle on streets or near cars.
• Children under 3 years old should not be allowed to use the vehicle.
• Only drive on level ground. Don’t go near water, drop-offs or up and
down steep slopes.
• Don’t drive the vehicle into loose dirt, mud, sand or ne gravel. Driving
the vehicle into loose dirt, mud, sand, or ne gravel may damage the
pedal and chain mechanism inside the vehicle.

1. Place the wheel on the front axle.
2. Place the washer on the front axle.
3. Place the locknut on the front axle and tighten with the spanner.
4. Align the hubcap to the raised locating bumps and insert the hubcap
into the wheel.

Attach the Rear Wheels
1. Place the wheel on the rear axle.
2. Place the washer on the rear axle.
3. Place the locknut on the rear axle and tighten with the spanner.
4. Align the hubcap to the raised locating bumps and insert the hubcap
into the wheel.

Attach the Front Frame Assembly
1. Slide the plastic molded screw, located under the front of the pedal
quad body, into the large hole located in the middle of the front
wheel assembly.
2. Working from the under side of the pedal quad body, fasten the front
wheel assembly to the pedal quad body by inserting the front wheel
link up into the hole located in the middle of the front wheel assembly.
3. Tighten the front wheel link until it is snug. Then turn it 1/2 rotation more
to ensure that it is secure.

Attach the Hood
1. Align the hood tting located inside the hood with the hood insert
located on the top of the pedal quad body.
2. Press down until you hear a click.

1. Using a Philips head screwdriver (not included) remove the battery
cover on the back of the handle bar.
2. Insert two AA batteries as shown inside the battery compartment.
3. Place the battery cover back onto the handle bar, tighten the screw
until it is tight.

Insert Batteries for Sound
The following safety hazards may result in personal injury to the
user of the Pedal Quad:
Contact or exposure to battery leakage (lead
acid) may cause personal injury. If contact
or exposure occurs immediately call your
physician. If the chemical is on the skin or in the
eyes, ush with cool water for 15 minutes. If the
chemical was swallowed, immediately give the
person water or milk. Do not give water or milk if
the patient is vomiting or has a decreased level
of alertness. Do not induce vomiting.
Follow these guidelines for use of AA batteries:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different
type (e.g.: alkaline, standard carbon zinc, rechargable nickel-
cadmium.
• Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a
re. Doing so may result in explosion or re.
• Do not charge non-rechargable batteries. Always have adult
supervision when charging rechargable batteries.

Attach the Handle Bars/Steering Column
1. Slide the steering column into the steering column hole at the top of
the hood.

2. Working from the under side of the pedal quad body, line up the locking
pin on the steering column with the slot on the large hole of the
steering column link. Ensure the bottom peg on the steering
column link is in the slot on the steering column bracket.
3. Slide the steering column link onto the steering column until the
locking pin enages and you hear a Click.

Attach the Back Splash Guards
1. Insert the seat alignment post into the back splash guard hole.
2. Insert the back splash alignment posts located on the inside of the
back splash guard into the seat alignment holes.
3. Insert a screw into a back splash alignment post hole located under
the back splash guard side and tighten the screw.
4. Repeat step 3 for the opposite side of the back splash guard.

Use
Important!
Before using the Pedal Quad an adult must read and understand
the instructions in this manual. The child must meet the
requirements outlined in this manual and understand how to
use the vehicle. Read the Safety Warnings in this manual before
using the Pedal Quad.
Follow these instructions to use the Pedal Quad:
Forward: To move the Pedal Quad forward press the pedals forward.
Braking: To apply the brakes to stop the Pedal Quad press the pedals
backwards.
Coaster Brake: To slow down the Pedal Quad, press the pedals
backwards and provide downward pressure to engage the coaster
brake.
Sound Effects: To turn ON the sound effects, move the ON/OFF
switch up. You will see a red light when the sounds are activated. To
operate the sound effects, twist the right hand grip backwards.

Maintenance
General
The vehicle should be checked for damage, missing or badly worn
parts before each use.
• Check the tightness of the fasteners before each use.
• Occasionally use lightweight oil to lubricate moving metal parts such
as wheels and steering linkage. Do not use oil on plastic or nylon
parts. Those parts do not need lubrication.
• Store the vehicle indoors or cover it with a tarp to protect it from the
wet weather. Keep it away from sources of heat, such as stoves
and heaters.
• Clean the vehicle with a soft, dry cloth. To restore shine to plastic
parts, use a non-wax furniture polish. Do not use car wax, abrasive
cleaners or wash the vehicle with soap and water.

One-Year Limited Warranty
Pacic Cycle, Inc. (PC) warrants this product to the original retail
purchaser as follows:
The vehicle is warranted against defective materials or workmanship
for one year from the date of original purchase. An original receipt
is required to validate your warranty. PC will, at its option, provide
replacement parts or replace this product. PC reserves the right to
substitute if the part or model has been discontinued.

charges are the responsibility of the consumer.
Warranty Limitations
This warranty does not include damages which arise from accident,
misuse, abuse, neglect or other causes not arising out of defects in
materials or workmanship, nor does it cover damages arising out of
service by other than an authorized PC service center. For personal
use only. Not for commercial use. The original owner shall pay all labor
charges connected with the repair or replacement of all parts. Under no
circumstances does this limited warranty include the cost of shipment
or transportation to or from an authorized Kid Trax repair center or Kid
Trax retailer.
Limitation of Damages:
The warranty and remedies as set forth are exclusive and in lieu of
all others, oral or written, expressed or implied. In no event will PC
or the dealer selling this product be liable to you for any damages,
including incidental or consequential damages, arising out of the use or
inability to use this product. Some states do not allow limitations as the
exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitation may not apply to you.

Warranty

Limitation of Warranties and Warranty Terms
Any implied warranties, including implied warranties of the
merchantability and tness for a particular purpose, shall be limited to
the duration and terms of the express written warranty. Some states
do not allow limitations as the exclusion or limitation of incidental or
consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.
This warranty gives you specic legal rights, and you may have other
rights, which vary from state to state. Neither PC nor the dealer selling
this product authorized any person to create for it any other warranty,
obligation or liability in connection with this product.
