Gerätebeschreibung - Specification
Mit dem HDMI-HDBT Extender werden HDMI- und Kontroll-Signale (IR & RS232) bis max. 1080p@60Hz
oder 4K mittels Twisted Pair Kabel bis zu einer Entfernung von 70 m übertragen. Benötigt werden jeweils
ein Transmitter, ein Empfänger und ein Netzteil. Da die Geräte dem HDBaseT-Standard entsprechen,
arbeiten sie mit hoher Wahrscheinlichkeit auch mit Geräten anderer Hersteller zusammen.
Hinweis: Bitte beachten Sie, dass es sich bei PoC (Power over Cable), Stromversorgung über die Cat-
Leitung, um eine proprietäre Lösung handelt. Geräte anderer Hersteller können Schaden nehmen, wenn
sie mit Receiver verbunden werden.
HDMI-HDBT extender allows the transmission of HDMI and control signals (IR & RS232) via twisted pair
cable over a distance of up to 70 m at max. 1080p@60Hz or 4K. Requires a transmitter, a receiver and
one power supply. These units follow the HDBaseT standard. Therefore they may interact with other
HDBaseT standardized products.
Note: PoC (Power over Cable) is used for powering the receiver via the CAT cable, this is a proprietary
standard. Devices of other suppliers might be damaged if used with this receiver.

Anschließen - Installation
1. Installieren Sie den Transmitter/Sender bei dem bilderzeugenden Gerät (z. B. PC) und den Receiver
auf der Seite des bildausgebenden Gerätes (z. B. Monitor).
2. Verbinden Sie die beiden Umsetzer mit einem Cat-Kabel (mindestens Cat-5e, empfohlen Cat-6),
möglichst als durchgehendes Kabel ohne Trennstellen.
3. Verbinden Sie nun die Endgeräte über HDMI mit den Umsetzern; ebenso RS232, falls benötigt.
4. Bei Bedarf, verbinden Sie die IR Sender mit den IR Out Anschlüssen des Transmitters und des Re-
ceivers. Montieren Sie den IR Sender sorgfältig über dem IR Empfänger des zu steuernden Gerätes.
Eventuell ist eine Feinjusiterung der Position für eine zuverlässige IR-Übertragung nötig.
5. Bei Bedarf, verbinden Sie die IR Empfänger mit den IR In Anschlüssen des Transmitters und des
Receivers. Positionieren Sie den IR Empfänger in direkter Sichtlinie zur steuernden Fernbedienung.
6. Verbinden Sie das Netzteil mit dem Transmitter oder Receiver und schalten Sie alle Geräte ein.
Hinweis: Die maximale Reichweite wird nur unter Verwendung hochwertiger Kabel (Cat-6/AWG23),
möglichst biegefreiem Verlegen und ohne Störeinflüsse erreicht.
1. Install the transmitter/sender at the HDMI source (e. g. Blu-ray DVD) and the receiver at the
presentation device (e. g. monitor).
2. Connect both units with a single Cat-cable (minimun Cat-5e, recommended Cat-6). Please use a
point to point connection, if possible.
3. Connect the units with the transmitter and receiver via HDMI cable and, if needed, RS232/IR.
4. If needed, connect IR emitters from the IR OUT ports of transmitter and receiver and firmly attach
the IR emitter eye directly over the infrared receiving sensors of the source and display device to be
controlled. Location of the emitter eye on each device may need to be adjusted later to achieve best
IR performance.
5. If needed, insert IR receivers into IR IN ports of transmitter and receiver. Position of the IR receiver
eye on or near the display or source device, ensuring using a clear line of sight to remote handset
used to control it.
6. Connect the power supply to the transmitter or receiver and power on all devices.
Note: The maximum range can only be reached by the use of high quality cables (Cat-6/AWG23) and
straight cable runs with no electrical interference.
