PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING
INSTRUCTIONS FULLY BEFORE
ATTEMPTING INSTALLATION.
1. Using knife, c refully split the bell
wire down the middle to form two
sep r te wires, e ch 30mm long.
2. Strip e ch wire b ck to expose
5mm of copper wire.

need to be repe ted
t the other end of the
bell wire once it h s
been cut to the
required length.
4. The bell wire is now
re dy to wire up the doorchime to
the bell push.
1. Unclip top cover.
2. Thre d bell wire from the b ck of
the b se nd through the l rge
opening to the left of the keyhole
slot.
3. Insert either one of the stripped
ends to termin l A nd the other to
termin l C, ensuring the termin l
screws re tightened securely
fterw rds. Do not use termin ls
m rked B nd D.
4. Position the b se on the w ll
vertic lly, w y from opening
doors, with the b ttery
comp rtment t the bottom.
Ensure th t it is less th n 5metres
w y from the bell push.
5. Use one of the screws nd w ll
fixings to h ng the b se on the w ll
vi the top keyhole slot. Adjust the
screw for flush fit if required.
6. Insert 3x C cell b tteries s per
m rkings on the inside of the c se.
1. If necess ry, remove the b se
cover of the bell push to reve l the
termin l screws.
2. Loosen one of the termin l screws
nd wr p one of the stripped ends
of bell wire round the exposed
screw thre d,
ensuring the screw
is tightened securely
fterw rds. Repe t
this process for the
other screw termin l
nd wire.

provided. Try to position the door
push in n unexposed pl ce to
protect it from b d we ther.

ppropri te.
An ltern tive bell push c n be used
with this doorchime, ple se follow the
instructions on the p ck.
Cert in door push models c n be
converted to illumin ted pushes by
purch sing either KingShield
DPL12A-C or DPL13A-C bell push
button sep r tely. Ple se note:For
illumin ted pushes, bell tr nsformer
must be used. KingShield models -
DP050A-C, DP050AC-C, DP080A-C re
ll suit ble to convert to illumin ted
pushes.
Simply press the button on the b ck
through the front p nel of the door
push nd sw p it with the ‘Push A Lite’
button. Wire up bell tr nsformer
following Step 4.
For use with an illuminate bell push.
Only n 8Volt 1Amp tr nsformer is
recommended, (KingShield Model
DAT01A). Ple se c refully follow the
m nuf cturer’s instructions - use
termin ls C nd D on the doorchime
c se to connect up the tr nsformer.
Remove the b tteries from the
doorchime nd ensure the power is
switched off t the m ins before
ttempting ny wiring.
