FITTING THE BATTERY
INSTALLING TO THE DOOR

• Battery inclu e for Transmitter (3V Lithium battery CR2032)

Please read the instructions fully efore attempting installation.
1. The battery compartment slot is locate on the bottom of the unit.
2. Using a flat screw river insert into slot an gently push, The base will
pop open.
3. Insert the 3V Lithium batery (CR2032), Dia.3an refit the base cover.

Before rilling any holes position position the transmitter on the oor or
oor frame outsi e (i eally a flat woo en area) an press the button to
ensure the signals are getting through to the receiver. Please test with the
oor close to simulate actual working con itions.
You shoul also look to position the transmitter in an unexpose place to
protect from rain.
The range of the unit is up to 150 metres (100M on model DW010AN-C)
ut mounting the transmitter on metal or UPVC doorframes may make the
unit inoperative or seriously reduce the operating range.
As with all low powere transmitters the number of wall an ceilings the
signal has to travel though between the transmitter an receiver also
affects the range.
Once a suitable surface is foun remove the transmitter base following 1).
Use these as templates to fix the base on to a oorframe. Ensure the
transmitter is the right way up so that the slot is at the bottom.
If mounting on to masonry, wall fixings will be require . Refit unit to base.
IMPORTANT: The screws must be fixed flush r the battery will n t
maintain c ntact with the terminals and the unit will n t perate.
TUNE SELECTION/LEARN CODE

TESTING
Test your oorchime by moving the receiver in ifferent rooms at
varying istances from the transmitter to ascertain the coverage
available in your home this way you are unlikely to miss any
visitors.
