INSTALLATION
SAFETY

Please read the instructions ully be ore
attempting installation. Disconnect electrical
supply be ore installing.
This unit sh uld be installed by a
c mpetent pers n in acc rdance with the
current IEE Wiring Regulati ns.
If in d ubt c nsult a qualified electrician.
T is transformer is designed to to be
DIN rail mounted.
1. Connect mains cable to Mains in
terminals and secure cable to prevent
movement. Mains in s ould be
supplied by a 3A fuse or M.C.B, see
Fig .1below.
2. Connect t e c ime bellwire to t e 8V
terminals on t e transformer and
terminals D and C on a KingS ield
wired doorc ime. See Fig.2below.
T is gives t e required 8V output.
3. Switc t e power on to transformer
and c eck operation.
