2. Verwendungsbereich
Diese Diebstahlsicherung kann an folgenden Typen der Antischlingerkupplungen
verwendet werden: KS25, KS30 und KS35
Die Diebstahlsicherung ist derart ausgeführt, dass dadurch das unberechtigte
An-/Abkuppeln sowohl im angehängten als auch im abgestellten Zustand des An-
hängers verhindert werden kann.
Eine Nutzung im Fahrbetrieb ist nur dann möglich, wenn die Prüfung auf die nö-
tigen Freiräume zu allen anderen Anbauteilen und dem Handbremshebel erfolg-
reich geprüft wurde. (siehe Punkt 8. Prüfung Freiräume)
Um ein Auegen der geschlossenen Kugelkupplung auf eine Anhängekugel zu
unterbinden, ist beim Abschließen im abgekuppelten Zustand der KNOTT Safety
Ball KSB50 in die Kupplung einzuführen.

hänger gekauft haben und diese im abgestellten Zustand regelmäßig verwenden.

Die Schlüsselnummer ist im Griffteil der Schlüssel, die Chargennummer des
„Blech links“ ist dort innen eingeprägt.
Bei Verlust des Schlüssels kann nur mit unten stehenden Angaben ein
Ersatzschlüssel beschafft werden.

Nicht in die geöffnete Antischlingerkupplung greifen.
Der federbelastete Schließmechanismus könnte ausgelöst werden und
zu Verletzungen der Finger führen.

8. Prüfung Freiraum
Um sicherzustellen, dass die Diebstahlsicherung auch während der Fahrt montiert
werden kann, muss der Abstand zwischen dem Handbremshebel oder anderen
Bauteilen und der montierten Diebstahlsicherung vorab in allen
Betriebsbedingungen überprüft werden.
Dazu ist die Kupplung bis auf Anschlag (90 mm) einzuschieben und beidseitig bis
auf Anschlag zur Seite zu verdrehen.
Zur Erleichterung empehlt es sich, den Anhänger rückwärts zu schieben und
dabei die Feststellbremse einzulegen. Der Handbremshebel bewegt sich dann weit
nach hinten und die zum Einschieben der Kupplung erforderlichen Kräfte werden
deutlich reduziert.
Nur bei 10mm Mindestabstand in ungünstigster Position zu allen anderen Bautei-
len darf die Diebstahlsicherung im Fahrbetrieb angebracht sein.
Für eine einwandfreie Montierbarkeit des Schlosses müssen die Muttern der
horizontalen Kugelkupplungsverschraubung in Fahrtrichtung rechts
angeordnet sein.

9. Bedienung
ACHTUNG Das Schloss rastet beim Eindrücken in der Regel nur dann ein,
wenn vorher der Schlüssel abgezogen wurde.
9.1 Absperren
Schließen der offen stehenden Kugelkupplung durch Einführen des KNOTT Safety
Balls KSB50.
ACHTUNG Quetsch-Gefahr!
Nicht in die geöffnete Antischlingerkupplung greifen.
Der federbelastete Schließmechanismus könnte ausgelöst werden und
zu Verletzungen der Finger führen.
Aufsetzen der linken Hälfte der Dieb-
stahlsicherung. Der Stift muss in die
entsprechende Bohrung der Antischlin-
gerkupplung eingeführt werden.

9.2 Aufsperren
• Abdeckkappe öffnen und Schlüssel einführen
• ¼ Umdrehung nach links oder rechts sperren
• beide Teile der Diebstahlschutzeinrichtung abnehmen
• Kugelkupplung öffnen und SafetyBall entnehmen.
Nach dem Abnehmen der Diebstahlsicherung empfehlen wir, das Schloss
abzuschließen und die Schutzkappe zu schließen.
10. WartungundPege
Bei richtiger Wartung sind einfache Bedienung und einwandfreie Funktion über
lange Zeit gesichert.
Alle 6 Monate ist das Schloss von grobem Schmutz zu reinigen sowie das Schloss
mit säurefreiem Maschinenöl zu ölen.

2. Field of application
This anti-theft device can be used on the following types of anti-torsion couplings:
KS25, KS30 und KS35
The anti-theft device is designed to prevent unauthorized coupling and uncou-
pling both when the trailer is attached and when it is parked.
Use in driving operation is only possible if the test for the necessary clearance to
all other attachments and the handbrake lever has been successfully completed.
(see point 8. Checking clearances)
In order to prevent the closed ball coupling from being placed on a trailer ball, the
KNOTT Safety Ball KSB50 must be inserted into the coupling when disconnected.

8. Checking clearance
To ensure that the anti-theft device can also be mounted while driving, the
distance between the handbrake lever or other components and the mounted
anti-theft device must be checked in advance in all operating conditions.
To do this, push the coupling in until a hard stop (90 mm) and turn it sideways on
both sides as far as it will go.
To facilitate this, it is recommended to push the trailer backwards while engaging
the parking brake. The handbrake lever then moves far to the rear and the forces
required to push in the coupling are signicantly reduced.
Only with at least 10mm minimum distance in the most unfavorable position to all
other components may the anti-theft device be attached while driving.
To ensure that the lock can be tted properly, the following must be
observed the nuts of the horizontal ball coupling must be arranged on the
right in the direction of travel.

9. Operation
ATTENTION The lock usually only engages when pressed in if the key has
been removed rst.
9.1 Locking
Close the open ball coupling by inserting the KNOTT Safety Balls KSB50.
ATTENTION Danger of crushing!
Do not reach into the open anti-torsion coupling.
The spring-loaded closing mechanism could release and lead to injury to
the ngers.
Put on the left half of the anti-theft
device. The pin must be inserted into
the corresponding hole of the anti-tor-
sion coupling.

9.2 Unlocking
• Open cover cap and insert key
• ¼ Locking rotation to the left or right
• remove both parts of the anti-theft device
• open ball coupling and remove SafetyBall.
After removing the anti-theft device, we recommend locking the lock and
closing the protective cap.
10. Maintenance and care
With proper maintenance, easy operation and perfect function are ensured for a
long time.
Every 6 months the lock must be cleaned of coarse dirt and the lock must be oiled
with acid-free machine oil.

2. Toepassingsgebied
Deze diefstalbeveiliging kan op volgende types stabilisatiekoppelingen bebruit
worden: KS25, KS30 und KS35
De diefstalbeveiliging is zodaning uitgevoert dat het wederrechtelijk aan- of
afkoppelen zowel in aangekoppelde als afgekoppelde toestand van de aanhanger
verhinderd kan worden.
Het gebruik in rijdende toestand is alleen dan mogelijk, als de controle op de be-
nodigde vrije ruimte tot alle andere componenten en de handremhendel succesvol
afgerond is. (zie punt 8. controle vrije ruimte).
Om het aanhaken van de gesloten kogelkoppeling op een trekhaakkogel te
voorkomen, moet bij het afsluiten in afgekoppelde toestand de KNOTT Safety Ball
KSB50 in de koppeling geplaatst worden.
