device, now you can monitor your baby sleeping in
another room anywhere, anytime!
Please keep your original dated sales receipt. You will
need to produce a copy of it to conirm your warranty
status.

This User Manual covers all the information you will
need to get the most out of your product.
Prior to using the Baby Monitor, we recommend that
you fully charge the battery in the Parent Unit. This
way, the device will continue to work even if you
disconnect it from the power supply to carry it to
another location. Please read the Safety Instructions
on page 18 carefully before installation.

1. First, put the screws on the wall. The diame-
ter of the screws should be at least 5mm and
maximum of 9mm. The distance between two
screws should be 20mm.
2. Place and match the wider holes on the base
of the camera with the screws.
3. Slide the base of the camera downwards so that the
screws lock towards the narrow side.

ESSENTIAL GUIDELINES FOR THE INSTALLATION OF YOUR BABY MONITOR
Guidelines to Install Your Baby Monitor
• Before using your Camera and the Parent Unit
together, you must irst establish a radio link
between them. The range may be aected by
environmental conditions.
• Any large metal object such as refrigerator,
mirror, iling cabinet, metallic door or reinforced
concrete between the Camera and the Parent
Unit may block the radio signal.
• The strength of the signal may also be reduced by
other solid structures such as walls or electrical
appliances (including radios, TVs, computers,
cordless or mobile phones, luorescent lights or
dimmer switches).
• The use of other 2.4 GHz products (e.g. wireless
networks [Wi-Fi routers], Blue-tooth systems, or
microwave ovens) may cause interference with
this product. Therefore, always keep the Baby
Monitor at least 5 feet/1.5 meters from such
products, or turn them o if they appear to be
causing interference.
• If the signal is weak, try moving the Parent Unit
and/or the Camera to another position in the
room or bring them near the router in case of the
monitor uses router mode connection”
• Insert one of the in-box batteries into the Parent Unit.
The battery should be inserted with the label facing
• Insert one of the in-box batteries in the bottom of
the Camera. The battery should be inserted with the
label facing downwards.

Strangulation Hazard: Children have STRANGLED in cords.
Keep this cord out of the reach of children (more than 3ft
away). Do not remove this tag. Never use extension cords
with AC Adapters. Only use the AC Adapters provided.
Camera Set Up & Use:
• Determine a location for the Camera that will provide
the best view of your baby in his/her cot.
• Place the Camera on a lat surface, such as a dresser,
bureau, or shelf. You can also mount the Unit to a wall
securely using the keyhole slots that can be found
underneath the camera. NEVER place the Camera or
cords within the cot.
This Baby Monitor complies with all relevant standards
concerning electromagnetic ields and is safe to use when
handled as described in the User Manual. Always read the
instructions in this User Manual carefully before using the
device.
• This product must be assembled by an adult only.
When assembling, keep small parts away from
children.
• This product is not a toy. Never let children play with
it.
1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING: • This Baby Monitor is not and shall not be deemed
to be a substitute for responsible adult supervision.
• Retain this User Manual for future reference.
• Never place the Camera or cords in the cot or
within reach of the baby (the Unit and cords should
be kept more than 3 feet/0.9 meters away).
• Never cover the Baby Monitor with a towel or
blanket.
• Familiarize yourself with this monitor and all its
functions prior to actual use.
• Never use the Baby Monitor in damp areas or
anywhere close to water.
• Only use the chargers and power adapters
provided. Never use other chargers or power
adapters as it may damage the device and battery
pack.
• Only insert a battery pack of the same type.
• Never tamper the plug contacts with sharp or
metal objects.
• Connect the power adapters to easily accessible
power sockets.
CAUTION:
• There is a risk of Explosion if the battery is replaced
by an incorrect type.
• Always dispose of used batteries by following the
relevant instructions.

2.1 Camera Power Supply
2. GETTING STARTED
The Parent Unit comes with a built-in Li-ion battery
and should be charged for 6 hours. Charging
the rechargeable battery pack fully before use is
recommended. This will allow the unit to operate on
battery in the event of a power failure.
1. Insert the small end (USB C) of the Parent
Unit’s power adapter (Output 5V, 2000mA)
into the USB C socket in the back of the Parent
Unit.
2. Insert the other end of the power adapter into
a suitable electrical outlet. The battery status
indicator will light up in red to indicate that
the Parent Unit is connected to the electrical
outlet.
*IMPORTANT: Only use the supplied power
adapter.*
3. Slide the power ON/OFF button that is located
on the side of the Parent Unit to switch on the
device.
4. When the Baby and Parent Units are both
switched ON, the display on the Parent Unit
will show the image captured by the Camera.
If the Camera is not in range or is switched o,
the Parent Unit beeps repeatedly and an error
message will appear on the screen.
2.2 Parent Unit Power Supply
1. Insert the small end (USB C) of the Camera’s power
adapter (Output 5V, 2000mA) into the USB C
socket at the back of the Camera.
2. Insert the other end of the power adapter into
a suitable electrical outlet.
3. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position to
switch on the Camera. The power indicator lights
up in blue.
4. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position to
switch o the Camera. The power indicator lights
up in red, indicating that the battery is being
charged.
The Camera comes with a built-in Li-ion battery. The
C525P Camera should be charged for 8 hours. Charging
the rechargeable battery pack fully before use is recom-
mended. This will allow the unit to operate on battery in
the event of a power failure.

1. The Camera is pre-registered to your Parent Unit.
You do not need to register it again unless the
Camera loses its link with the Parent Unit. If you
would like to add an additional camera, please refer
to section 4.2.1.
2. To re-register your Camera, or register a new
Camera, follow the procedure below:
a. Press “ ” on the Parent Unit for the menu bar.
b. Press “ ” or “ ” button to select , then
“ ” to proceed to the next step.
c. Press “ ” to add camera, then “ ” to
proceed.
d. Press the “ ” button or “ ” button to select
the available camera number. Press “ ” to
add a camera unit.
e. You will then see a sign “ ” to indicate you to
press and hold the pair button of the Camera
until the irst beep then release the pair button.
2.3 Registration (Pairing)
NOTE: Pairing a Camera that was previously registered
will reset the device and remove it from the previous
account.
The Parent Unit will auto detect and pair to the
Camera. Parent Unit will then display live stream
upon successful pairing.

• Make sure that the Camera and Parent Unit are
both switched on.
• Place the Camera in a convenient location (e.g. on
a table, mount on wall...etc) and point the camera
lens towards the area you want to monitor.
NOTE:
• Do not place the Camera within reach of a child
or baby! If there is interference with the picture or
sound, try moving the units to dierent locations,
and ensure that they are not close to any other
electrical equipment.
• If you place the Parent Unit and Camera too close
together, you may hear a high pitched noise. This is
certainly not a defect. As the units are designed to
be operated at some distance, so please move the
units further apart to avoid this noise.
• It is only recommended to use a Class 10 micro-SD
up to 32GB (Facing the camera, insert the micro-SD
card with the label towards you) and the ile format
• Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position to
switch on the Camera. The power indicator lights
up in blue.
• Slide the ON/OFF switch to the OFF position to
switch o the Camera. The power indicator goes
o if the battery is not being charged, or lights up
in red if it is charging.

• Press and hold the TALK button on the parent
unit to talk to your baby through the Camera’s
loudspeaker. The “TALK” icon will be displayed at
the top of the LCD screen. When inished talking
release the “TALK” button to hear your baby again.
• Press VIDEO ON/OFF key to turn the LCD
display On or O, Turning o the LCD display does
not turn o the Audio. This feature will increase the
battery life.

• To turn on the parent unit, slide the ON/OFF switch
to the ON position to switch on the Parent Unit. The
power indicator lights up in green. If the battery
is being charged, the red indicator will light up
concurrently.
• To turn on the parent unit, slide the ON/OFF switch
to the OFF position to switch o the Parent Unit.
The green indicator goes o. If the battery is being
charged, the red indicator will continue to light up.

NOTE:
The snapshot playback feature can only display the two
latest snapshots that were stored in the Micro-SD card
while the rest of the snapshots will still be available in the
Micro-SD card.
1. Press “ ” on the Parent Unit for the menu bar.
2. Press the “ ” or “ ” until SNAPSHOT
CAPTURE is highlighted. Press “ ” to conirm.
3. Press the “ ” button or “ ” until “
”SNAPSHOT CAPTURE) is highlighted in the sub
menu. Press “ ” to take a snapshot.
4. Press the “ ” button or “ ” until “
”(SNAPSHOT PLAYBACK) is highlighted. Press “
” to select captured images; select the desired
latest snapshots (e.g: 1|2) and press “ ” to view.
4.1 Snapshot
Prerequisite: This feature needs Class 10 Micro-SD card
to be inserted in the Camera. (see page 28) 4.2.1 Camera Registration
4.2 Add (Pair) a Camera
1. When the camera pairing icon “ ” appears;
press and hold the pair button on the Camera
until you hear the beep, then release the pair
button.
2. The Parent Unit will then ind the camera and
complete the pairing and stream the live video.

NOTE:
• If there is only one (1) camera paired in the Parent Unit,
you are not allowed to remove that camera. You can
re-register the same camera using another camera
number.
• If there is no camera connected to the Parent Unit,
you will see the warning message “Please pair with
camera.”
4.2.2 Delete a Camera
1. Press “ ” on the Parent Unit for the menu bar.
2. Press “ ” or “ ” button to select (CAMERA)
icon , and press “ ” to proceed to the next
step.
3. Press “ ” to remove camera, then “ ” to
proceed.
4. Press the “ ” button or “ ” button to select the
camera number that you want to delete. (e.g:
) Press “ ” to conirm.
5. An alert will pop up, select “ ” to remove, and
“ ” to cancel, then press “ ” to conirm.
4.2.3 View Camera
1. Press the “ ” button of the Parent Unit for the
menu bar.
2. Press the “ ” button or “ ”to select
(CAMERA) icon, and press “ ” to conirm.
3. Press the “ ” button or “ ” to select (VIEW
CAMERA) icon, and press “ ” to conirm.
4. Press the “ ” button or “ ” button to select the
camera (Camera 1/ 2/ 3/ 4) that you want to view,
then press “ ” to view the live video from that
camera.

4.3 Set Wi-Fi network connection between
the Camera and the Parent unit
Note
This feature helps to extend the wireless range between
the Camera and Parent Unit by using the Wi-Fi router as
a bridge. Please pair the camera via Wi-Fi with KODAK
Smart Home App to get the latest irmware version for
this feature.
The following conditions are required when the Parent
Unit switches to Router mode
• Both the Camera and the Parent unit must be
connected to the internet via same primary
WiFi SSID. In case, the camera connects to an
alternative Wi-Fi SSID, the parent unit won’t be
able to ind the camera.
• Do not hard reset or remove camera from the
mobile application
• Do not pair the camera to another Wi-Fi SSID
when both the devices are already connected to
a speciic Wi-Fi router.

4.3.2 Direct Mode
Note
In this mode, the Parent Unit will always connect
directly to the camera
1. Press “ ” on the Parent Unit for the menu bar.
2. Press “ ” or “ ” button until “ ”(NETWORK
SETTING) is highlighted, and press “ ” to
proceed to conirm.
3. Press the “ ” button or “ ” button until “
” is highlighted in the sub menu. Press “ ” to
apply.

4.3.1 Router Mode
Note
In this mode, the Parent Unit will always connect via Wi-Fi
router to access the camera.
1. Press “ ” on the Parent Unit for the menu bar.
2. Press “ ” or “ ” button until “ ”(NETWORK
SETTING) is highlighted, and press “ ” to
proceed to conirm.
3. Press the “ ” button or “ ” button until
“ " is highlighted in the sub menu.
