General Safety Instructions
Risk of electric shock. DO NOT OPEN!
Do not atte pt to service the television yourself, as
opening or re oving the covers ay expose you to
dangerous voltage or other hazards. Refer all servicing to
the Kogan custo er support tea .
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this
product to rain or oisture. The television should not be
exposed to dripping or or splashing, and no liquid filled objects
such as vases should be placed on the case.
In the event of s oke, strange noises or a strange s ell fro
the unit, you should follow these steps:
•Turn off the unit i ediately.
•Disconnect the power plug fro the power outlet.
•Contact the Kogan custo er support tea . Never
atte pt to ake repairs yourself.
Never push objects of any kind into the set through the
cabinet slots as they ay touch dangerous voltage
points or short-circuit parts that could result in a fire or
electric shock. Never spill any liquids onto the set. Use
special caution in households where children are
present. The television is not suitable for children under
4 years old to operate.
Power supply cords should be routed safely to prevent
dangers due to da aged cords.
The ains plug is the ain disconnect ethod, so it should
be easily accessible and not be obstructed during use.
To avoid fires, no naked fla e sources such as lit candles or
burning incense should be placed onto the casing of the
television.
Do not pull the plug out of a power outlet by pulling on the
power cable. Always grasp the plug and pull.
Never touch the plug with wet hands.

An outside antenna syste should not be located in the
vicinity of overhead power lines or other electric light or
power circuits.
When installing an outside antenna syste , extre e
care should be taken to keep fro touching such power
lines or circuits, as contact with the ay be fatal.
Always turn the set off when it is not being used.
Unplug the television fro the power outlet when it will
not be used for a long ti e or when there is an
electrical stor .
Never touch the antenna cable during a lightning stor .
Excessive volu e fro earphones and headphones can
cause per anent hearing loss. Always onitor the volu e of
noise fro these devices, especially when children are using
the .
Installation
Ventilation should not be i peded or li ited by
covering the ventilation slots with ite s such as
newspapers, tablecloths, curtains etc..
At least 10c of space should be left around the
apparatus for sufficient ventilation.
The television should be situated away fro heat
sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves or other
products that product heat.
Place the television in a position where the screen is
not exposed to direct sunlight. It is best to have soft
indirect lighting while watching, and you should avoid
a co pletely dark viewing environ ent and
reflections to avoid eye fatigue.
Keep the product away fro high agnetic fields
(such as near an a plifier speaker) to avoid affecting
the tint.

Do not place the television on an unstable table, stand
or shelf. The set ay fall, causing serious injury as well
as da age to the television itself.
If oving the television on a cart, ove the unit with
care as sudden stops and starts ay cause the
television to overturn.
Do not place this television near water, for exa ple
near a bathtub, wash bowl, kitchen sink, laundry tub,
swi ing pool or in a da p base ent etc..
When oving the television to a war location fro
a cold location, allow so e ti e for any dew or
condensation inside the television to evaporate fully
before you turn the unit on.
To prevent injury, the television ust be securely
attached to the floor/wall in accordance to the
supplied installation instructions.
Cleaning
Unplug the television fro the power supply before
cleaning. Do not use any liquid cleaners or harsh
che icals. Use a soft, da p cloth.

Installation of TV
TV placement
Place your TV on a flat surface that is able to bear the weight of the TV.
To avoid da age, please don't expose the TV to water or direct heat. Do
not block the ventilation on the back of the TV.
Connect antenna and power
Connect the antenna cable to the antenna socket on the back of the
television.
Plug the power cable into the wall socket.
Turn on the TV
Press the power button on the TV and the indicator light will turn green.
If the TV is in standby ode (the indicator showing as red), then press
the power button on the re ote control to turn the TV on.

Press INPUT to select the input source.

Press MENU button to display the ain enu.

Brightness/Contrast/Sharpness/Saturation/Hue
Press / to select option, then press / to adjust.▲ ▼ ◀ ▶
Brightness Adjust the optical fibre output of the entire picture. This option
will affect the dark regions of the picture.
Contrast Adjusts the highlight intensity of the picture. With this option,
the dark regions of the picture will re ain unaffected.
Sharpness Adjusts the peaking in the detail of the picture.
Saturation Adjusts the saturation of colour, based on your preferences.
Hue Used in co pensating the colour changes associated with
trans ission when in NTSC for at.

Changes the overall colour cast of the picture.

Cool Produces a gentle, blue-tinged i age.

Aspect atio

Balance Adjust balance shift between left and right speakers to adapt to
your listening position.
Surround Sound

EQ Setting
Adjust the curve of 7 bands equalizer.

The 3 coloured keys are the shortcuts for progra ing channels.

Firstly, press / to highlight the channel that you want to delete, ove or skip, ▲ ▼
and then;
Press the ED button to delete the channel.
Press the G EEN button to skip the channel. (Your TV will skip the channel
auto atically when using CH+/- to view channels)
Press the BLUE button to set the channel into oving ode. You can then
press / to ove it to the position you want.▲ ▼
Signal Information
Press / to select Signal Infor ation. Then press ▲ ▼ ENTE to see detailed
infor ation about the signal. This option is only functional in DTV ode.
Lock System
Press MENU button to display the ain enu.
Press / to select ◀ ▶ Lock System in the enu, then press ENTE / to enter.▼

USB Operation
Note: Before operating the USB enu, plug in a USB device, then press the
INPUT button to set the Input Source to USB.
Press / to select USB in the Source enu, then press ◀ ▶ ENTE to enter.
Press / to select the option you want to adjust in the ain USB enu, then ◀ ▶
press ENTE to enter.
DVD
Press the “D.Setup” button to enter the DVD settings enu. Use the / buttons ◀ ▶
to select the desired enu page (General/Audio/Dolby/Video/Preferences),
then use / to select the correct options and press ▲ ▼ ▶ to enter the selected ite .
If you change any settings, press ENTE to confir the value you have changed.
Press to return to the left sub enu. To go back to the DVD ain enu page, ◀
press the EXIT button.
General Setup Page
OSD Language: Set the language of the setup enu and screen display.
Screen Saver: Set screen protection.
Last Me ory: Re e ber and resu e fro position of previous playback.
Audio Setup Page
Down ix: This is DVD L/R and stereo output. Defaults to stereo.

Dyna ic: Adjust the sound dyna ic range.
Video Setup Page
Sharpness: Adjusts sharpness of i age.
Brightness: Adjusts brightness of i age.
Contrast: Adjusts contrast of i age.
Preference Page
TV Type: Select local TV syste (PAL/NTSC/Multi)
Audio: Disc audio language selection (disc dependent)
Subtitle: Disc subtitle language selection (disc dependent)
Disc Menu: Disc enu language selection (disc dependent)
Parental: Set the axi u disc rating (Kid Safe/G/PG/PG 13/PGR/R/NC17/
Adult) that can be viewed without a password.
Password: Change password. (Default password is 0000)
Default: Choose to restore to the original default preference settings.

Setting Up TV Stand or Mount
TV Stand Installation
1. Open the carton and re ove the TV and all accessories.
2. Place the TV on a table covered with towels or other soft
protective layers with the screen facing downwards. Take
care to keep the screen safe fro being scratched.
3. Screw the base to the TV as shown in the i age.
4. Installation is co plete.
Mounting the TV to the wall
1. Place the TV on a table covered with towels or other soft
protective layers with the screen facing downwards.
Take care to keep the screen safe fro being scratched.
2. Use a screwdriver to re ove screws fro the botto
stand (as shown in picture 1), then re ove the stand.
3. Using the easure ents between the screw holes (as
shown in picture 2), ark out the bracket points on the
wall (as shown in picture 3).
4. Mount the TV ount to the wall as instructed in the
anual for the wall ount.
5. Use the screwdriver to lock the screws onto the back of
the TV, so it can then be ounted (as shown in picture
4).
Note
•The bracket and wall ounting equip ent is not supplied with the TV.
•When ounting the TV, we reco end you have it installed and ounted by a professional, as incorrect
installation ay result in the ount co ing away fro the wall, causing structural da age to your roo and
da age to the TV itself.
•I ages shown above are for reference only.
Troubleshooting
If you have any proble s with your television, please check the suggested solutions below, as these issues ay be
caused by i proper adjust ent/setup rather than a alfunction with the unit. If the proble persists, please contact the
Kogan custo er support tea .
