Proper use
The Solar Lamp is intended for installation in the open
(gardens etc.). It is intended exclusively for private domestic
use, not for commercial purposes.

Injury hazard!
• Never leave children unsupervised with the Solar Lamp.
• The earth spike has a sharp pointed end. This could lead
to injuries.

Product Information
• During the day, the solar cells convert sunlight into
electricity and charge the battery. At night / twilight,
the Solar Lamp automatically switches itself on and
provides light by means of the stored electical power.
• The number of operating hours is dependant on how
long and intensively the sun has shone upon the collector-
panel.
Setup Location
For the best results, place your Solar Lamp at a location
where sunlight shines directly on to the collector panel.
The location must be free from shadow and shade. Ensure
that the collector-panel is not influenced by light sources
other than the sun. Otherwise, the lamp will not be switched
on at twilight.
Startup
➩Place the Solar Lamp at a suitable location.
➩Press the function switch down (Position AUTO).
Note: The charging process is only started when
the function switch is in the Position AUTO.
➩Charge the Solar Lamp in that you subject it to intensive
sunlight for a period of ca. 16 hours.
➩When the battery is charged, the Solar Lamp switches
itself on automatically at twilight.
➩Place the function switch in the Position OFF to
switch off the Solar Lamp.
Note: It can take a few days until the Solar Lamp
has reached its optimal performance efficiency.
