designgivesyouthepossibilityofnoticinganychangesortrendsintherelevantdatafrom
theshinggearand/orcatchmonitoringsensors.Aquicklookatthescreenisenough.
WiththeTV80system,youcanrecordallthedatareceivedfromthesensors,andsavethem
asdatalesonyourcomputer.Youcancopythelestoothervessels,ortonetandtrawl
doormanufacturers.TheTV80alsogeneratestimestampeddataleswithalltherelevant
informationappreciatedbyscientists.Whiledisplayingthedataprovidedbythesensors
onyourgear,theTV80alsocalculatesadditionaldatabasedontheinformationfromthe

Severaldifferentpresentationmodesareavailablefordatapresentation,andwithalarge
displayyoucanbringthemallupsimultaneously.Youcanalsovisualizethesensordata
intwoorthreedisplays,allowingyoutohandlealotofvaluableinformationwithout
saturatingthescreen.
IntheTV80program,thepresentationofsensordataisorganizedinviews.Theviews
provideyouwiththeinformationyouneedtocontrolthefunctionalityandtheoperational
parameters.IntheTV80program,youcanuseamaximumoffourviewsperscreen
simultaneously.Ifyouuselessthanfourviews,youcanchoosetheirlayoutaccordingto
youroperationalrequirementsorpersonalpreferences.
Built-infrequencyspectrum
Thequalityoftheacousticcommunicationlinkbetweenthesensorsandthereceivercanbe
challengedbynoise.Whennoiseappearsinthesamefrequencyrangeasthesensorsare
usingfortheircommunication,theresultinginformationmaybeunstableorunreadable.The
TV80offersaspectrumanalyserthatshowsthesignalsfromeachhydrophone.Thegraphin
theSpectrumdialogboxprovidesyouwithinformationaboutthebackgroundnoiseand
thesignalstrengthintheselectedfrequencyband.Withthisinformationyoucanidentify
noiseandndthe"cleanest"frequencies.
Softwarelicense
AvalidsoftwarelicenseisrequiredtooperatetheTV80system.TheTV80systemoffers
variouslicensingoptionsdesignedtotyourcommonshingscenario.
