1. Accessory parts
Note:
• The Working Table WT-506 needs to be
mounted before to install this unit.
• This manual provides the illustrations of the
accessory parts and machine that may be
slightly different in shape from yours. In that
case, instead of the illustrations, use the
appearance of your machine to follow the
installation procedure. This does not cause any
significant change or problem with the proce-
dure.
• If none of the later steps instruct you to use the
parts including screw and cover that you
removed following the instructions described in
this manual, discard them.

2. Installation procedures
(1) Turn OFF the power switch and unplug the
power cord from the power outlet.
(2) Affix the supplied finger placement seal at the
location shown below on the working table.
(3) Remove the cap from the working table (one
place).
(4) Fix the authentication unit on the working table
using the supplied hook-and-loop fasteners (A,
B, C and D).
A: two places on the underside of the authentica-
tion unit
B: two places on the working table
C: one place on the underside of the authentica-
tion unit
D: one place on the working table
(5) Run the supplied USB cable through the hole
from under the table and connect the cable to the
authentication unit.
(6) Open the cover shown in the illustration on the
right side of the machine.
(7) Remove the indicated knockout from the top of
the cover using nippers.

(8) Connect the USB cable to the machine.
Note:
Connect it the port shown in the illustration.
(9) Attach the cord clamp supplied with the main
body at the position shown in the illustration.
(10) Route the USB cable as shown in the illustra-
tion. Pull the USB cable up in order to remove
slack.
(11) Run the USB cable through the indicated hole
on the cover.

(12) Close the cover that you opened in step (6).
(13) Route the USB cable as shown in the illustra-
tion. Run the USB cable through the four wire
saddles.
Note:
Arrange the cable so that it does not interfere with
opening or closing of the right door.
3. Configuration procedures
<Installation of the loadable device driver>
Install the AU-102 loadable driver (BIO_LDR.tar) to
the main unit.
(1) Prepare a USB memory where only the loadable
device driver is stored in the ROOT directory.
(Please do not save any other data in the USB
memory.)
(2) Connect the USB memory to the USB port of the
main unit.
(3) Plug the power cord into the power outlet and
turn ON the power switch.
(4) Display the Service Mode screen.
(For details of how to display the Service Mode
screen, see the service manual.)
(5) Touch “System 2” →→“Driver Install.”
(6) Touch “Loadable Driver” and touch “Start” to
install the data.
(7) Check that the data are normally installed from
the message that appears on the control panel.
(8) Turn OFF the power switch.
(9) Remove the USB memory.
(10) Turn ON the power switch.
Note:
When displayed the Service Mode screen, be sure
to turn off the power after exiting the Service Mode
screen and wait for 10 seconds or more before
turning on.
<Setting bio authentication>
(1) Display the Service Mode screen.
(For details of how to display the Service Mode
screen, see the service manual.)
(2) Display the Billing Setting screen.
(To display the Billing Setting screen, press Stop
→ 9 on the Control Panel.)
(3) Touch “Authentication Device2.”
(4) Touch “Authentication Device2.”
(5) Touch “Body.”
(6) Touch “END.”
(7) Turn OFF and ON the power switch.
Note:
When displayed the Service Mode screen, be sure
to turn off the power after exiting the Service Mode
screen and wait for 10 seconds or more before
turning on.
