Network Card Installation
Please follow the following instructions to install your new USB wireless network card:
1. Please insert the wireless network card
into an available USB 2.0 port of your
computer. You can insert the card when
the computer is power off or on.
2. The following message will appear on
your computer, click „Don’t show this
message again for this device“.
3. Insert device driver CDOM into the CD/DVD
ROM drive of your computer, and execute
„Setup.exe“ program in „Driver“ folder.
Please select „Allow“ if Windows
indicates that „in unidentified program
wants access to your computer“.

4. Please read the end user license
agreement and click „Yes“ to accept license
agreement.
5. Please select „Optimize for WiFi mode“ for
wireless compatibility, then click „Next>“. If
yo u w a nt to enhan c e w i r e l e s s per f o r m ance,
please select „Optimize for performance
mode“. However, wireless compatibility is
not guaranteed when you use this mode.
Please refer to user manual for details of
performance mode.
If you see “Found New Hardware“
message again, please ignore it and wait.
6. When you see this message, please click
„Finish“ to complete the driver installation
process.

Connect to Wireless Access Point
Using Configuration Utility to Connect to Wireless Access Point
1. After installation is complete, wireless
configuration utility will be shown as an icon
at the lower-right corner of your windows
desktop. Please click the icon by right mouse
key, and select „Launch Config Utilities“.
2. Configuration utility will scan for wireless
access points automatically, and all found
access points will be displayed. Please
select an access point you wish to connect,
and click „Connect“.
If the wireless access point you want to connect
does not show here, please click „Rescan“.
3. You’ll be prompted to input the SSID (the
name of wireless access point) if the SSID
of the access point you want to connect is
hidden, then click „OK“.
The SSID you input here must be identical to
the SSID setting of the wireless access point
you want to connect.

4. If the wireless access point uses encryption,
you have to input WEP passphrase or WPA
preshared key. Please ask the owner of the
wireless access point you want to connect,
and input the correct passphrase / preshared
key here, then click „OK“. If the value you
inputted here is wrong, you will not be able
to connect to wireless access point.
Authentication type is selected
automatically, please don’t change it.
5. If the wireless access point is successfully
connected, you’ll see a „Connected“
message displayed at the lower-left corner
of wireless configuration utility window. Click
„OK“ to exit.
For advanced settings and other features of this USB wireless network card, please refer to user
manual enclosed in supplied CD-ROM.

Installation des WLAN-Adapters
Bitte befolgen Sie die Anweisungen, um Ihren neuen USB-Drahtlosnetzwerkadapter zu
installieren:
1. Bitte stecken Sie den
Drahtlosnetzwerkadapter in einen freien
USB 2.0-Anschluss Ihres Computers. Sie
können den Adapter bei eingeschaltetem
oder ausgeschaltetem Computer
anschließen.
2. Die folgende Meldung wird auf Ihrem
Computer angezeigt, klicken Sie auf
"Don’t show this message again for
this device" (Diese Meldung für dieses
Gerät nicht noch einmal anzeigen).
3. LegenSiedieGerätetreiber-CD-ROMindas
CD/DVD-ROM-Laufwerk Ihres Computers
ein, und rufen Sie das Programm "Setup.
exe" im Ordner "Driver" auf.
Wenn Windows Ihnen "an unidentified
program wants access to your computer"
(ein nicht identifiziertes Programm möchte
auf Ihren Computer zugreifen) anzeigt,
wählen Sie bitte "Allow" (Zulassen).

4. Bitte lesen Sie die Endbenutzervereinbarung
durch und klicken Sie auf "Yes" (Ja), um die
Lizenzvereinbarung zu akzeptieren.
5. Wählen Sie bitte "Optimize for WiFi
mode", um die Kompatibilität von
Drahtlosnetzwerken zu gewährleisten, und
klicken dann auf "Next" (Weiter). Wenn
Sie die Leistung des Drahtlosnetzwerks
verbessern möchten, wählen Sie bitte
"Optimize for performance mode" (für
Leistungsmodus optimieren). In diesem
Modus kann die Kompatibilität der
Drahtlosnetzwerke jedoch nicht garantiert
werden. Details zum Leistungsmodus
finden Sie im Benutzerhandbuch.
Wenn Sie die Meldung "Found New
Hardware" (Neue Hardware gefunden)
erneut sehen, ignorieren Sie diese bitte,
und warten Sie.
6. Wenn Sie diese Meldung sehen, klicken
Sie auf "Finish" (Fertig stellen), um die
Installation des Treibers abzuschließen.

Verbindung mit einem drahtlosen Access Point
Konfigurations-Dienstprogramm zur Verbindung mit einem drahtlosen Access Point verwenden
1. Wenn die Installation abgeschlossen ist, wird
das Dienstprogramm zur Konfiguration der
Drahtlosnetzwerke als Symbol in der unteren
rechten Ecke Ihres Desktops dargestellt.
Klicken Sie bitte mit der rechten Maustaste
auf das Symbol, und wählen Sie "Launch
Config Utilities" (Konfigurationsprogramme
starten).
2. Das Konfigurations-Dienstprogramm wird
automatisch nach drahtlosen Access Points
suchen und alle gefundenen Access Points
anzeigen. Wählen Sie bitte den Access Point
aus, mit dem Sie eine Verbindung herstellen
möchten, und klicken Sie auf "Connect"
(Verbinden).
Wenn der drahtlose Access Point, mit dem
Sie sich verbinden möchten, nicht in der Liste
angezeigt wird, klicken Sie bitte auf "Rescan"
(Erneut suchen).
3. Sie werden aufgefordert, die SSID (den
Namen des drahtlosen Access Points)
einzugeben, falls die SSID des gewünschten
Access Points versteckt ist. Klicken Sie
anschließend auf "OK".
Die SSID, die Sie hier eingeben, muss mit
der SSID-Einstellung des drahtlosen Access
Points übereinstimmen.

4. Wenn der drahtlose Access Point eine
Verschlüsselung einsetzt, müssen Sie den
WEP- oder WPA-Schlüssel eingeben. Bitte
fragen Sie den Eigentümer des drahtlosen
Access Points, mit dem Sie sich verbinden
möchten, und geben Sie hier den richtigen
Schlüssel ein. Klicken Sie anschließend auf
"OK". Wenn der eingegebene Wert falsch
ist, können Sie keine Verbindung mit dem
drahtlosen Access Point herstellen.
Der Authentifizierungstyp wird automatisch
ausgewählt, bitte ändern Sie diesen nicht.
5. Wenn die Verbindung mit dem drahtlosen
Access Point erfolgreich hergestellt worden
ist, sehen Sie die Meldung "Connected"
(Verbunden) in der unteren linken Ecke des
Konfigurationsprogrammfensters. Klicken
Sie zum Beenden auf "OK".
