Introduction
The digital microscope camera is easy to use in workplace and home with USB interface.
It provides 19 - 190x adjustable magnification range. The build-in high performance white LEDS
can illuminate the object without using any auxiliary light. The magnified image can be seen,
captured and recorded. It has a CMOS sensor which has a resolution from 640x480 to
1600x1200.

System Requirements
• Personal computer, laptop, desktop, or IBM compatible with Pentium 166 MHz minimum, and
with an active USB (Universal Serial Bus) port.
• Windows 98SE/ME/200/XP, CD-ROM drive, color monitor, mouse and keyboard.
• Color printer for printing color pictures
• For transferring still images via internet, of for video conferencing, your computer must have
modem and communication software for internet connection.
Take a picture
1. Turn on the microscope
2. The LCD monitor will display icon.
3. Point the microscope at the subject, use monitor screen to compose the picture.
4. Holding the microscope still, gently press the shutter button to take a picture.
Note: 1. User can press the ZOOM button for zooming out/in
2. The image will shows grainier as the image is digitally zoomed.
Taking a video
1. Turn on the microscope.
2. Press the FUNCTION (Right) button, select icon. Press the OK button to confirm.
3. Press the OK button again to make a video. Press the OK button to stop taking the video.
4. Press the right button to return the select function.
Using Digital Zoom
During taking a picture, user can press the POWER button to zoom in or zoom out. The digital
Zoom provides 1X up to 4X magnification of your pictures.
Using Optical Zoom
During taking a picture or video, user can slide switch to adjust optical zoom. The optical
zoom provides 3.5x and 35x magnification of your subjects, user can also circumvolve the
magnification switch to adjust the definition of the subjects.
1. Slide the switch to station, keep 60mm distance between the view case
(optional) and subjects. The user can view the subjects’ original size.
2. Slide the switch in “3.5X” station and “35X” station, the user can view subjects in
3.5X and 35X magnification of subjects.

Display Information
Select function
• Press the Function button to enter function mode.
• You can see the icon on the screen.
• Press the Left of Right buttons to select function
DV Mode
Select the DV Mode button, press the OK button to enter
it. Press the OK button to take the video, and press it
again to stop recording.
Setup
Enter the setup function, you can see the icon on the
screen.
1. Setting time and date
Press the left or right button to adjust the date format to MM/DD/YYYY, DD/MM/YYYY or
YYYY/MM/DD. Press the OK button to advance to next setting and press left and right button
to adjust the date and time. When finished, press the OK button to confirm the setting and
return to main menu.
2. Setting the picture size
Use the Quality setting to select a picture resolution. To select the resolution followed by
below selections, press the left or right button to select the picture size, and press OK button
to confirm the setting and return to main menu. 2M (1600x1200 pixels), 1.3M (1280x960
pixels), VGA (640x480 pixels).
3. Setting the video size
To select the resolution followed by below selections, press the left or right button to select
the video size, and press OK button to confirm the setting and return to main menu. VGA
(640x480 pixels); QVGA (320x240pixels).

4. USB Connection
Press the left or right button to select items, and press OK button to confirm.
PC Cam: To use your microscope as a PC microscope
Disk Driver: To use your microscope as a mass storage
5. Light Frequency
Set the anti-flicker frequency to 50Hz. (please select if using the microscope in Europe,
Japan and Asia)
Set the anti-flicker frequency to 60Hz. (default-please select if using the microscope in the
United States)
6. TV Output
Connect the scanner to your TV with TV cable.
NTSC: Setting the TV Output to NTSC
PAL: Setting the TV Output to PAL
7. Format
Press the OK button enter the Format, to select ‘do not format’ (X) or ‘format ( ), press the
OK button to confirm.
Caution: Formatted files cannot be recovered.
8. Auto off
Press the OK button enter the Auto off.
5MIN: Setting the microscope automatically powers off approximately 5 minutes.
(X): Setting the microscope always on.
9. Exit
Press Start button to back to Select Function.
Exposure value
T enter the EV mode, press the Left or Right button to select, and press OK button to confirm.
Exposure compensation helps you change the exposure setting manually to adjust object lighting.
The feature helps to achieve better results when scanning a film or slide image with a strong
backlight, or an image that is against a dark background. The setting can be adjusted in 1/3 steps
within the range -2EV ~ +2EV. You can check the result of the compensation by viewing the
image on the screen panel.

Taking Contiuous Pictures
1. Select the Burst icon, then press the OK button to confirm. And the icon will appear on
the LCD monitor.
2. Point the microscope at the subject; use the monitor screen to compose the image.
3. Holding the microscope still, gently press the shutter button to take the picture.
4. Enter the function mode again, and select the Burst icon, then press the OK button to back
the single picture mode.
DC MODE
Select the DC Mode button, press the OK button to enter it. Press the OK button to take the
picture.
Playback
Turn on the microscope. Press the Playback button you will see
some pictures on the screen.
Then press the POWER & ZOOM IN & MENU to enter playback
mode. You can see the icons on the screen.
Press the Left or Right buttons to select these items.
• Single
When you select the icon, press OK button to confirm. You need press Left or Right
button to review the next / previous picture. Press the POWER & ZOOM IN & MENU to return the
Playback mode.
• Slide show
Use the Slide Show feature to continue display your photos on the scanner screen panel. Once
selected the Slide Show Mode, microscope will automatically play all the photos. Press any
button to stop the slide show. Press the POWER & ZOOM IN & MENU to return the Playback
mode.
• Delete One
Select the to delete current image.

• Delete All
Select the icon will delete all the stored images from the internal memory or SD card.
Files that are erased cannot be recovered. Make sure you select the image you want to delete.
• Copy to card
Select the icon, and press Start button to confirm, copy all images into SD card.
• Exit
Select the icon, and press Start button to confirm, then you will back the playback.
Images Download to PC
For Windows 98/ME customers:
When connected the scanner to the computer with the USB
cable, the “USB Mass Storage driver” appears on the
computer screen.
For Windows XP:
A dialogue box with options appears as shown on the Right
side. The options are Play, Find/Fix/Share Images. Open
folders to View files / Take no action, / Copy images to a folder
on my computer / View a slide show of image and etc. Please
select one of them and click on “OK”.
For Windows 2000/ME/98:
Double click on “My computer”, and then double click on
Removable Disk (i:) in the DCIM files. (All the photos and
videos are stored here)
Using the microscope in PC-CAM mode
NOTE: Please install microscope drive before you can use the microscope in PC-CAM.
Setting Up PC-CAM
1. Turn the microscope power on and press the Function mode to select the setup the setup
function. Press the OK button to confirm. Press the right button to select USB Connection
items, select the PC CAM. Press OK button to confirm.
2. Connect the microscope and the computer use the USB cable.
3. There are many methods to view your image in PC-CAM mode if you have Video software.
For example: Double click “My computer” (or “Computer” in Windows Vista), then click the
“standard camera”, you can live view in PC-CAM mode now.

ArcSoft MediaImpression 2
ArcSoft MediaImpression 2 enables users to easily,
creatively, and productively manage their multimedia with
simple workflow and powerful tools. Organize your media
easily and create simple projects with editing tools. There
are endless ways to present and share; worry-free media file
backup & restore.
Click “Media Impression 2” “Setup.exe” “choose
language” “next” “Yes” “next” “next” “finish” to
download it. Double click “Media Impression 2” icon on the
desktop and you will see a window as the screenshot above.
When you enter the ArcSoft MediaImpression 2, you will see
a window as screenshot below then you can select as your
need.
Organize
Connect the Digi Microscope and the computer with the USB cable. Click the Import then you can
enter the Organize groups.
1. Auto face tagging automatically finds all faces in photos, groups them, and then tags them.
2. Auto scene tagging automatically analyzes content of photos then tags them with different
scenes.
3. Auto rating automatically detects and rates poor-quality and high-quality photos Ratings &
tags compatible with Windows Vista (XMP support).
4. Search media files with multiple criteria combinations (such as combining folders, ratings,
tags, Share and time)
5. Geotag photos and view photos in the exact spot you took them in Google Earth.
