customer for 90 days from date of retail purchase,
against defects in material and workmanship.

PRODUIT
Cette unité thermoélectrique est conçue pour être un récipient d’entreposage portatif pour les boissons
froides et nourriture froide en mode “CO D". ’unité peut refroidir approximativement à 20°C/36°F au-
dessous de la température ambiante. Dans le mode “HEAT” elle peut stocker la nourriture et les boissons
précuites chaudes. ’unité chauffera approximativement à 60°C/140°F. ’unité est actionnée à partir d’un
système à C.A. de maison avec l’utilisation d’un adaptateur approuvé de puissance d’AC/DC.
ENTRETIEN
• e moteur, le ventilateur et les fentes du panneau de commande doivent être nettoyés périodiquement.
orsque l’appareil est débranché, nettoyer les pales du ventilateur et l’arbre du moteur à l’aide d’un
pinceau ou toute autre brosse àpoils doux. Enlever toute accumulation de saletés, de poussière ou de
cheveux.
• Pour le nettoyage, essuyer l’intérieur avec un linge humide tiède ou une éponge. Ne pas utiliser des
nettoyants puissants ou abrasifs. Une solution savonneuse devrait suffire mais si les odeurs persistent,
ajouter un javellisant domestique ou du bicarbonate de soude à la solution de lavage. aisser le
couvercle ouvert pendant plusieurs heures après le nettoyage pour permettre que l’intérieur sèche bien et
pour éviter des odeurs dans la glacière.
• Pour le rangement à long terme, placer un petit contenant rempli de bicarbonate de soude ou de
charbon à l’intérieur afin d’absorber les odeurs désagréables.
USAGE
• ors du branchement du cordon d’alimentation 12V ou le cordon adaptateur CA à l’arrière de l’appareil,
assurez-vous que la rainure au bout du cordon est virée vers le haut, alignée avec la nervure de la prise.
• orsque branché correctement, appuyez le bouton de puissance [ON], l’afficheur illuminera et le moteur
commencera à tourner.
• Si le branchement n’est pas correct, le moteur tournera mais le bouton de puissance et l’afficheur ne
fonctionnera pas.
• Allumer ou éteindre l’appareil à l’aide de l’interrupteur ON/OFF.
• ’écran affiche normalement la température intérieure.
• Modifier la température à l’aide des boutons UP (haut) et DOWN (bas) de 2°C / 36°F à 60°C / 140°F.
• ors de l’actionnement des boutons UP et DOWN, l’écran affiche la température de consigne.
a température de consigne par défaut est 8°C / 47°F, et l’appareil retourne à cette température en cas de
panne de courant ou si le cordon électrique est débranché.
• e bouton IGHT sert à contrôler l’éclairage intérieur.
• e bouton MUTE (au dos de l’appareil) réduit le bruit du ventilateur en cas de fonctionnement le soir, mais
réduit également l’efficacité. Placer l’appareil en position normale pour toute utilisation normale.
AVIS IMPORTANT
• Éteindre l’appareil et attendre au moins cinq (5) minutes, si on passe du mode de refroidissement au mode
de réchauffement, ou vice versa.
• ors du réchauffement, la doublure en aluminium devient chaude. NE PAS TOUCHER. Risques de brûlures.
• ors d’utilisation dans l’automobile, il y aura un drain sur la batterie de la voiture, si le moteur est arrêté.
• S’assurer que le ventilateur peut tourner en tout temps.
• ’appareil n’est pas conçu pour réchauffer des aliments froids.
• ’appareil n’est pas conçu pour un usage continuel. Faire reposer l’appareil pendant une heure après un
usage maximal de 48 heures.
PRODUCT
This thermoelectric unit is designed to be a portable storage container for cold drinks and cold food in
“CO D” mode. The unit can chill to approximately 19°C/35°F below ambient temperature. In “HEAT” mode it
can store hot pre-cooked food and drinks. The unit will heat to approximately 60°C/140°F. The unit is
powered from a house AC system with the use of an approved AC/DC power adapter.
MAINTENANCE
• The motor, fan and control panel vents should be cleaned periodically. While the unit is unplugged, clean
the fan blades and motor shaft using a paint brush or other soft bristled brush. Remove all hair, dirt, or dust
that may have accumulated.
• To clean, wipe the inside with a warm damp cloth or sponge. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners. A mild
soap should be sufficient, but if stains or odours remain, household bleach or baking soda may be added
to the washing solution. Keep the lid open for several hours after cleaning to allow the interior to thoroughly
dry and to prevent odours from forming in the cooler.
• For long periods of storage, a small container of baking soda or charcoal, placed inside, will eliminate
objectionable odours.
USAGE
• When plugging the 12v power cord or the AC Adapter cord into the back of the unit, be sure that the groove
on the end of the cord is facing up, matching the rib in the socket.
• When plugged in correctly, push the power button On, the display will light up and the fan motor will start
to turn.
• If plugged in incorrectly, the fan motor will turn but the power button and display will not function.
• Use ON/OFF switch to turn unit ON or OFF.
• The display will normally show the inside temperature.
• Use the UP and DOWN buttons to change the temperature setting in the range of 2°C/36°F to 60°C/140°F.
• When using the UP and DOWN buttons, the display will show the set point temperature. The default
set-point temperature is 8°C/47°F, and the cooler will reset to this temperature in the event of a power
failure or the AC power cord is disconnected.
• The IGHT button controls the interior light
• The MUTE button (on back of unit) reduces fan noise for evening use, but also reduces performance.
The normal position should be used in normal use.
IMPORTANT NOTICE
• Turn unit OFF and wait at least 5 minutes when changing between heating and cooling modes.
• When heating, the aluminum lining is hot. DO NOT TOUCH INING - burn hazard.
• When using in the car, there will be a drain on the car battery if the engine is off.
• Ensure the fan is able to rotate at all times.
• The unit is not designed for heating cold foods.
• The unit is not designed for continuous use, after maximum use of 48 hours, the unit must be turned
off for 1 hour.
