Cleaning Your Air Filters
A dirty air filter will cause a reduction of airflow, which in turn causes the unit to overload and also consumes
more electricity. Therefore regular cleaning is necessary for efficient and trouble-free operation.
It is necessary to clean the Air Filter at least once every two weeks.
WARNING: Ensure that the power supply is switched off before
commencing maintenance work.

Not Operating For A Long Period Of Time
When the Fan Coil Unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, switch off the power from
the circuit breaker.

Before Putting The System Back To Operation
Check if the filter screen is clean. Turn on the main power to the system.
Remove the dust from the air filter by using
vacuum pump cleaner or if it is very dirty,
wash it with soap and wipe dry before
reinstalling it.
Clean the filter every other week for
higher efficiency.
Use curtains or blinds to prevent heat
gain from the sun light to the room,
doing so will help reduce electric
consumption.
Close all windows and doors when operating
the unit so that there is no leakage of
conditioned air outside the room.
It is good to introduce fresh air into the
room for awhile by opening the window
but not too long as energy will be drained
out.
