IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS
When using your Boil,basic safety precautions should always be followed. Please read this
entire manual before using this device, paying extra attention to these safety warnings and
guidelines. Korex Boil is designed only for home use. Neither Korex nor its affiliotes are
responsible for damage resulting from improper use or for damages caused by non-compli-
ance with the information, warnings, and instructions provided in this manual. Please keep
this manual in a safe place for future reference.
• Before inserting fhe main plug into a power outlet ensure that your main supply voltage and
current rating matches the power supply defails on your WiFi Kettle's model label. Boil's rated
voltage is 120V and its fixed frequency is 60 Hz.
• Never immerse the sub-base, cord, plugs and the heating base in liquid. Wipe the surfaces
clean with a damp doth or sponge.
• Never place the sub-base of the kettle or the heating base in the dishwasher.
• If repairs are needed, send the appliance to our customer service department or a qualified
service provider, do not attempt to repair the unit yourself.
• Always turn the unit OFF: after use; in case of a malfunction; and before cleaning.
• When removing the plug from the wall socket, never pull on the power cord.
• Keep all parts of the kettle out of reach of children at all times.
• Do nof attempt to remove any parts of the housing.
• Do not insert metal objects into the interior of the appliance.
• To prevent damage to the power cord, do not let it pass over sharp corners or edges.
• Do not expose the appliance fo rain or moisture.
• Do not operate the oppliance outdoors or with wet hands.
• Keep away from heat or open flame.
• Add only clean, cold water to the kettle.
• Do not overfill the kettle.
• This appliance is designed for heating water only; do not add any other liquids, except
decalcifying solution, to the kettle.
• Only use the kettle with the provided heating base.
• Avoid spilling water on the heating base or power cord.
• If the power supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service
agent.
• Do not operate Korex Boil if the power cord shows signs of damage or if it has been dropped.
• The surface of the heating base will be very hot during use and for a short while after use.
Ensure that the base has cooled before touching.
WARNING: Korex Boil is not intended for use by children. It is not a toy! Do not allow children
to play with any part of the appliance. Keep children away from the power cord, they can
pull the unit down and be burned by hot water or become entangled in the power cord. Keep
the kettle, the heated base, and the cord out of the reach of children at all times.
WARNING: This appliance operates at very high temperatures. There could be danger of
scalding from escaping water or steam. Do not touch any part of the kettle except the stay cool
handle when the appliance is in use and ensure that the lid is properly closed.
WARNING: Position the lid so that steam is directed away from the handle.
WARNING: Do not remove the lid while the wafer is boiling.
WARNING: Ensure that Korex Boil is switched off before removing the kettle from the base.
WARNING: There is potential injury from misuse of this product.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
• Unplug from outlet when either the appliance or display clock is not in use, and before
cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunc-
tions, or has been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to an authorized service, facility
for examinatioa repair or adjustment.
• The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may
result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
• Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
• To disconnect turn any control to "off ", then remove plug from wall outlet.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for
their safety.
• Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
• Scalding may occur if the lid is removed during the brewingcycles.
Note for Cord:
POLARIZED PLUG (for a product manufactured with a polarized plug)
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this plug is intended to fit into outlet only one way. If theplug does not fit fully
into the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not
attempt to modify the plug in any way.
GROUNDED PLUG (for a product manufactured with a grounded plug)
As a safety feature, this product is equipped with a grounded plug, which will only fit into a
three-prong outlet. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature, Improper connection of the
grounding conductor may result in the risk of electric shock. Consult a qualified electrician if
you are in doubt as to whether the outlet is properly grounded.

SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Before using for the first time
1. Prior to initial use, clean it by going through several boiling cycles, using clean water with
each cycle and filling the kettle (Body) to its upper marking.

2. Place the cordless base (Cordless Base) on a firm and level surface.
3. Pour the desired amount of clean water into the kettle (Body), Do not touch any part of the
kettle except the handle.When the appliance is in use, and ensure that the cover(Cover) is
properly closed , The amount of water can be measured by the level mark on the outside of
the kettle , Always pay attention to the minimum and maximum levels and ensure that the
cover (Cover)is properly and firmly closed .
4. Position the kettle in such a way on the sub base (Cordless Base) that the underside of the
kettle fits precisely into the contact on the base
5. Insert the plug into a wall socket.
6. The buzzer will sound “di” when plug in.
If no kettle on its stand, the LED will display “EO”.
If place kettle on its stand, the LED will display “OF”.
LED will display “OF” and the buzzer will sound “di” after the kettle complete its operation,
Take the kettle out of its stand, LED will display “EO”, the buzzer will sound “di”.
“EO” means no kettle on its stand, the product without any function, just with sound “di”
when press any button.
“OF” means appliance is on standby mode, the button is ready its function. any one button
pressed, the buzzer will sound “di”.
7. Press ON/OFF button once, the red indicator is illuminated,the electric kettle start to work
immediately ,while the display show”ON“.The power will automatically cut off when thewater
is fully-boiled. And before the water boiled, if you press ON/OFF button again,the electric
kettle stop working with the indicator light went out。

Operation Guidelines

1. If you want to make it get into the state of keep warm, please pree the “PROG” button while
working, the red indicator light is off, and the green one(light) goes on. At this time the kettle
still working, only the figures flashed on the display to entering the’’ thermostat" mode, then
press the “TEMP+” or “TEMP-”button to adjust the temperature as you want.(temperature
range:50℃-95℃)。Once the temperature has been set, that means it will be enter the boiling
and warming state. Each button will be self-locked after 5 seconds. If you want to change the
set mode, please just press the “PROG”button, then reset it with the “TEMP+” or “TEMP-”but-
ton.
2. In the temperature range of 85℃-100℃,the heater will be cut off after about 15 seconds if
the temperature has stopped rising at certain temperature。 If you want to change the set
mode, please just press the “PROG”button, then reset it with the “TEMP+” or “TEMP-”button.
10. In the state of keeping warm, power supply will be no operation automatically after about
2 hours off.
WARNING: Do not leave the electric kettle unattended during making
the water, as you need operate manually sometimes!
3. The hot water may now be poured safely through the spout into another container, safety
cut ‒ out.
4. This kettle is equipped with a safety cut ‒out to protect the appliance from damage in case
of inappropriate use, should the appliance be accidentally operated without water or if all the
water has evaporated the safety cut out will automatically switch off the heating element.
5. In such a case remove the plug from the wall socket immediately and refill the kettle only
after an adequate cooling down period, about 15—20seconds Decalcifying
6. Should the appliance switch off before reaching boiling point this is a sign that decalcifying
is necessary.
7. Any regular descaling agent may be used, provided the relevant instructions are observed,
Do not fill the kettle to the upper mark to avoid spillage if the descaling agent causes the
water to foam .
8. To clean the kettle thoroughly of any decalcification residues let it go through several
boiling cycles using clean water with each cycle , Rinse the kettle with clean water afterwards .
Cleaning And Care
1. Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has
cooled down completely.
2. Do not use abrasives or harsh cleaning solutions.
3. Do not immerse the base or the kettle in any liquid, to clean the exterior, a slightly damp, lint
‒free cloth may be used.
4. It is advisable to remove lime deposits from the kettle at regular intervals.
Correct Disposal of this product
This marking indicates that this product should not be disposed with other
household wastes throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environ-
ment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to
promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device,
please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the
product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe
recycling.

Please scan the QR code,or get Smart Life to download on APP store or Google play.
Before moving forward, please ensure your Boil and your device are prepared for pairing and
setup.
• Ensure Boil has been connected to a power source.
• Ensure your smart phone is able to connect to a WiFi network and has internet access.
• Download and open the App on your smart phone.
Run the Smart Life App from your smart phone.
Register or login.The app will take you to the home page.

Device Preparatio
1. If this is the first time connecting a Smart Life device, you can add your first device by
pressing the Add Device" button on the home page.
If devices are connected to your Smart Life App, and you want to add a new device, press the +
icon on the top right to connect a new device.

2. Select the device you want to connect from the list 3. Follow the steps as prompted by the App to finish connection. If you get stuck somewhere,
start again from the beginning.
According to the requirements of ETL software standard, you need manually enable WIFI
function for every time when it is plugged in.

4. The App will show you a list of nearby WiFi networks. Select your home network, enter your
password, and connect to it through the App.
If you do not see your WiFi Network on the list, press "Change Network."
5.Wait for your device to finish connecting.
6.Once your device is connected,it is ready to use.

3. Then input the user name and password of Smart life APP that you had previously registered.
4.Tap"Link Now," then tap "Authorize" on the next page to connect Alexa to Smart Life.
5. Go back to Alexa home page, choose ‘smart home’ in the option bar, press’+’ (add device)
button, searching devices related to applications automatically
6. After the above operation is successful,you can cotrol the device Via Axexa.
Enable Smart life skill in Alexa APP
1. Open Alexa (amazon account), choose ’Skills’ in the options bar, and then search “Smart
Life” in the input box.
2. Select Smart life in the search results, and then click “Enable Skill.

PREPARATION
• Download the Google Home app on your smart phone.
• Register your Google Account.
• Pair Boil with Smart Life App and name it with a simple and easily recognizable name.
• Finish setting up Google Home.
NOTE: This device currently only supports US accounts.
1. Open your Google Home App, select Account on the bottom right hand corner.

Tap "Home Control."
Tap "+" on the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
Find and add the Smart Life App from the search bar.
Enter the account and password of your Smart Life App that you created during registration or
login.
Tap"Link Now," then tap "Authorize" on the next page to connect Google Home to Smart Life.
