7. INITIAL INSTALLATIONWARNING:Do not use extension cords or any type of connector between the appliance's power cord and the socket.1.Before use, remove all packaging around the lamp.2.Firmly attach the supplied table base to a flat, solid surface.3.Once the base is secure, insert the light fixture pin into the hole.4.Insert the plug into a conveniently located electrical outlet, and the light fixture is ready to use.5.Power on using the on/off switch located on top of the head.6.Control the multi-function switch to change power.8. INSTALLATION VERIFICATIONThe place and the way in which the luminaire will be installed are very important for its good performance and for the safety of the user. MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONSTo maintain the best functioning of the luminaire, it is recommended:•The acrylic lens must be cleaned periodically to ensure continued lighting performance.•Do not use abrasive or acidic substances that could damage the lens.11. 14. SCOPE AND WARRANTY PERIODKOTA Equipment guarantees the product and its accessories against defects in material and workmanship, provided they are operated in accordance with the conditions of use specified in the User Manual.The term of this warranty is 6 (six) months from the date of the invoice.of purchase, being 3 months of legal guarantee and 3 months of contractual guarantee.Replaced parts or accessories will be guaranteed for a period of 90 (ninety) days, counted from the date of return of the device to the customer, or for the remaining period of the original warranty, whichever occurs later.15. ITEMS EXCLUDED FROM WARRANTYThis warranty does not cover:• Defects or damage resulting from use of the equipment in a manner notspecified in the User's Manual.• Defects due to damage resulting from testing, installation, alteration or anytype of modification performed by people or technical assistance notauthorized by KOTA Equipment.• Products that have the serial number removed or illegible, as well as damagecaused by spillage of aggressive substances on the product.• Electrical discharges or variations in electrical current that can damagethe equipment.• There will be automatic loss of warranty in case of non-use of KOTAauthorized technical assistance during its term.• If you need to contact KOTA Equipment, always have the purchase invoice forthe equipment and its respective serial number handy.KO 364 - 05 - Manual de Equipamento - Luminaria Lumiled.indd 11 23/03/22 14:09
