1.1 Introduction

We congratulate you on the purchase of your mirror cabinet with integrated Blue-
tooth®audio module. With this MME (Multi Media Equipped) mirror cabinet, you have
chosen an innovative product from our company. We trust it will give you many hours
of joy when using it!
This instruction manual contains important information for the installation of the unit
and the use of its technical functions. Carefully read all instructions to ensure opti-
mum operation.
We shall accept no liability for non-compliance with the instructions detailed in this
manual!
Please store this manual safely for future reference.

1.3 Safety instructions
The installation, assembly and disassembly of electrical appliances must be carried out
by a skilled electrician in compliance with locally applicable rules and regulations.
Assembly of the mirror cabinet must not be performed on damp or conductive sur-
faces. The MME mirror cabinet must only be mounted in area 2 & 3 (see diagram
below).
Visually check the outside of the MME mirror cabinet for defects before mounting it.
We shall not accept liability for subsequent defects.
Donotplacetheglassedgeofthemirrorcabinetdirectlyontheooronceithasbeen
unpacked. Always place it on a soft surface (e.g. a blanket) to prevent edge damage.
There may be sound disturbances in case of simultaneous usage of electrical devices
(like for example hair-dryers)!
Avoid humidity and splash water!
This applies in particular to the inside of the housing and the laterally attached louds-
peakers.



2.2 Function and operation of the Bluetooth module
2.2.1 Loudspeakers
The loudspeaker boxes with stereo sound, which are laterally integrated on the MME
mirror cabinet, guarantee excellent sound quality.
2.2.2 Illumination
The MME mirror cabinet is equipped with a socket. Illumination can be easily switched
on and off with the toggle switch, independent of a light switch.
2.2.3 Bluetooth®audio module
The Bluetooth®audio module enables excellent audio playback for your Bluetooth®-
enabled playback device (smart phone, tablet, notebook, etc.).
2.2.4 Bluetooth®audio module connection
1. Press the Connect button highlighted in red on the right loudspeaker. Its colour then
 changestopinkandstartsashing-thissignalsthatthemoduleisreadyforconnec-
tion.
2. Activate the Bluetooth®function in your smart phone or other Bluetooth®-enabled
playback device. Information on how to activate the Bluetooth®mode can be found in
the respective instruction manual.
3. Select „KFMUSIC“ from the list of available Bluetooth®devices and establish the con-
 nection.Whenpromptedforthepassword,enterthedigits0000andconrm.
4. Asuccessfulconnectionisconrmedbyasoundfromtheloudspeakersandthelight
 oftheConnectbuttonashesmoreslowly.TheactiveBluetooth®connection is now
shown in the display depending on the playback device.
5. If you now activate music playback on your device, the sound is played via the Blue-
tooth®module in the mirror.
6. All other functions like volume control, next song, pause etc. are controlled via your
playback device.
7. In order to connect a new playback device with the Bluetooth®module,rstofall
either end the connection with the playback device directly or press the Connect button
on the loudspeaker again. You can now connect the new playback device, as described
in item 1.

3.2 Maintenance instructions
The mirror surface may only be polished with clean water and a chamois leather or a
microbrecloth.Donotusecommerciallyavailableglass/windowcleaningproducts.
Water residues must be removed thoroughly, as these can cause edge corrosion. Do not
usesharpobjectsorsolventstoremovethestickerandplasticlms.
3.3 Warranty/service
Our warranty conditions comply with legal requirements.
Allourproductsundergoadetailednalinspectionbeforebeingdispatched.
This check covers quality, functionality and electrical safety.

3.5 Disposal
Pollution or damage to the environment can be prevented by disposing of goods in an envi-
ronmentally friendly manner. Any waste electrical and electronic equipment must be dispo-
sed of separately from household rubbish in special government-provided recycling sites.
For further information on disposal of waste equipment, please consult your local public law
waste disposal company.
The packaging material can be recycled. Packaging material must be disposed of in an
environmentally friendly manner by using local paper, cardboard and light packaging
collection points.
3.6 Guarantee
(1) If the merchandise delivered is defective, you are authorised within the limits of the
statutory provisions to demand that the defect be remedied, to withdraw from the con-
tract or to reduce the purchase price.
(2) The statutory period of limitation for the supplied merchandise is two years from receipt
of the merchandise.
