SHORTFORM INSTALLER INSTRUCTIONS
FOR CARD or PIN PUBLIC SHARE MODE OPERATION
Do not close the door until Master Fobs are enrolled and lock has been tested with default Master
override PIN 4321+OK and default User PIN 1234+OK. See User Manual for further details
Leave Locker Door Open at all times throughout the installation and programming
1. Install lock on door and connect Keypad to Latchbox making sure the two ridges on the ribbon
cable plug are facing UP to be correctly inserted into the socket of the latchbox connector.
Inserting the ribbon cable plug into the socket upside down will damage the pins in the
connector that will permanently damage the lock and void the warranty.
2. Insert 3 x AA quality brand batteries in the latchbox and insert the probe in the single reset hole
on the latchbox, keeping it held down as you insert the 4th AA battery until you hear 1 short
beep followed by 3 long beeps. Remove the probe after the 3 beeps. The latch bolt will
automatically retract back into the latchbox, and the lock will be set in Public Mode.
3. The lock is now in Public Share User Mode and can be operated by any 4-8 digit PIN to lock it
and the same PIN to unlock. It can also be operated by any Mifare 13.56MHz 1K RFID Card Fob
or Wristband by presenting the card/fob at the keypad to lock it and using the same
card/fob/wristband to unlock it. In Public Share User Mode, the lock can also be opened using
the Master Override PIN (default 4321+OK) or A Master Override Fob.
4. To enroll the 3 Master Override Fobs supplied with the locks (Red, Blue, and Yellow) enter the
Master PIN 4321+ C (Master Fob enrollment mode) and whilst green light is flashing, present
each override fob to where card/hand icon is indicated on the keypad confirmed by 1 beep and
a green light for each fob that has been enrolled
5. In Public Share User mode, the Auto Open feature can be activated to automatically open the
lock between 1 and 1440 minutes after being locked. This is to deter share locker users taking
ownership or extended use of the locker. To turn this feature off present any Master override
Fob and enter 0 0 0 0 + OK.
6. After enrolling the 3 fobs, Test lock with any temporary 4-8 digit pin +OK, latch will extract
ready to push door closed to lock and can be opened using same temporary PIN to open. When
lock is opened by a Master Fob or Master Override PIN the temporary User PIN is deleted and
the lock defaults to the ready share user mode for next user.
7. Test lock with default Master pin 4321+OK, latch will retract and 5 seconds later it will extend
ready for door to be pushed closed
8. Test lock with the 3 Master Fobs, and present all three Fobs one at a time (after the latch
automatically extends to locked position to confirm fobs unlock)
9. After Master PIN, User PIN, and the 3 Master Fobs have been tested you may now close the
locker door and test to ensure it opens using the User PIN or Master Fob
10. To set the Auto Open feature present any one of the 3 master Override Fobs at the Keypad
Reader and enter 4 digits representing minutes between 0001 and 1440 e.g., to have the lock
automatically open 1 hour after being locked by a temporary user, present Master Fob and
enter 0060 + OK
Advise your end user customer to instruct users not to overload the locker with private property that could apply pressure on the locker door
from the inside (e.g., backpacks, laptops, and any other bulky items) as this can apply undue pressure on the latch causing it to jam
