HOW TO CHANGE THE CR2450 LITHIUM BATTERY FOR ALL MINIK10 LOCKER LOCKS
The below instructions are to be used as a guide to help rectify some faults within the Minik10 Locker locks
due to in-proper installation, incorrect programming or over tightening of the locks.
The first step is to remove the lock from the door. To do this, remove the hex nut off the back of the barrel,
carefully storing the mounting accessories in safearea to ensure they are not lost. Remove the lock from
the locker door and place it on a soft surface with the keypad facing down.
The second step is to change the locks battery.
Using a small Philips head screwdriver, remove the small screw holding in the back-battery tab.
Once this is removed, use a flat head screwdriver to carefully pry the battery out of the lock.

Replace the old battery with the new battery and ensure you dispose of the old battery correctly. Please
note, the battery must be installed with the flat, positive side facing up as per below.
Carefully insert the back-battery tab and fasten the small screw to secure the battery tab back in place.
Once you have re-installed the battery, test the operation of the lock prior to re-installing it on the locker.
The lock will retain the user and master codes within its memory. If the lock was not programmed correctly
it will be required to be set up with the new desired master and user passwords before it should be used. If
you do not know the user or master password for the lock to perform the test, you can perform a manual
reset on the lock using a paper clip or similar. to do this, bend the paper clip into a U shape. Remove the
foil sticker with the locks serial number located above the barrel from the top left corner until the 2 holes
are exposed. Once exposed, insert the paper clip into the holes at the same time to perform the reset. The
lock will respond with 2 beeps and the LED will flash green to confirm.
WARNING –Resetting the lock will revert all the settings and codes to the factory defaults.
