Tektite’s ROPS products are designed to provide safe and dependable service during operation
when they are properly maintained according to the instructions. Please read this installation
manual carefully before installing and using this ROPS product.
The photos/illustrations provided in this manual may not provide all the detail needed, and are
for reference only.
All directions provided are from the reference point of the tractor seat facing the steering
wheel. All left and right references are from this view point.
For reference, please fill in the information below. This will assist your dealer in providing
service for this ROPS. It is advisable that this information be provided to your insurance
company as well in the event that the tractor is lost or damaged.

Installation Instructions:
1. Remove upper hoop of the two-post ROPS from machine. Take care during installation as
there will be a lot of pressure on the entire assembly.
2. Mark the wires going to both seat switches first, and then disconnect the wiring harness from
both switches.
3.Remove the seat from the seat track assembly tilt. Retain all fastening hardware.
4. Remove the seat track assembly completely from the tractor. Retain all fastening hardware.
5. Remove the toolbox as well as two bolts underneath toolbox. Retain all fastening hardware.
6. Un-bolt and remove the cup holder from the left fender. It will not be re-installed.
7. Un-bolt and remove both left and right fender grab handles.
8. Un-bolt and remove the left right plastic fender covers.
9. Remove the end plastic covers from the control levers. This will assist in installing the under-
seat shield in the following step.

10. Take the pre-upholstered under seat shield and roughly position it in the under seat area.
Slide the wiring harness through hole in shield. Slide the upholstery slots around and through
the levers in order to achieve a decent seal under the seat.
11. Fasten shield into place with factory hardware.
12. Re-install the end plastic caps to the control levers just removed.
13.Take the left front bracket and bolt to the outside of the loader mount plate shown with the
provided 5/8” x 1 ½” hex bolts and flange nuts. Loosely fasten only, see photo on next page.

14. Repeat for the right side front bracket.
15. Take the seat and put it back on top of the under seat shield. DO NOT fasten to tractor.
16.Return to the cab to install lift brackets next. To remove the gas shock on the left cab door,
slide a flat screwdriver underneath the small clip on the end cap that must be pulled UP order

to pop the shock off of the ball stud. The shock will release very easily when this is
accomplished. Lift the door assembly straight up and off of the cab and put aside for now.
17. Take the provided cab lift bolts, ½” x 4 ½” hex bolts and fasten to the mount nut located at
the top of the door behind the tab.
18. Use a lifting strap or chain, and connect the two lift bolts together. Prepare to lift the cab
up off of the shipping pallet with an over-head hoist or forklift.
19. Un-bolt the rear shipping bracket and the front shipping mount. Lift cab straight up.
Position the cab over the tractor and prepare to lower the cab down. The cab must come
straight down onto the tractor. Tighten or loosen the clamp as necessary that is keeping the
two post ROPS lower members together.
20. It is necessary to slide the rear shield of the cab onto the under-seat shield installed earlier
for proper sealing. The shield may need to bent back a little. The shield should seal at the very
back of the under seat shield.
21. Lower the cab straight down onto the front mount pad on the front bracket. Use the
provided 5/8” x 3” hex bolts, ¼” structural washer, and flange nut for the front isolator.
22. On the next photo, you can see which fastener is used for the rear mount location. Use the
provided 5/8” x 3”hex bolt, ¼” structural washer, and flange nut in the orientation as shown.

23.Ensure all fasteners have been started before any final torques are applied. For the 5/8”
fasteners, you can apply 205 ft-lbs of torque.
24.Un-hook the lift bolts and remove the lift straps or chain. Remove the lift bolts, store if cab
will be removed in the future.
25. Fasten the seat down onto the tractor with the provided M8 x 35 mm hex bolts.
26. Route the electrical harness from the bottom of the left A-post of the cab into the engine
bay. Connect the heavy red wire to the 12v power terminal on the starter. Use provided 1/4"

loop, shorten wire if necessary, then solder connector directly to red wire. Connect the heavy
black wire to the ground bolt on the starter. Use the provided 1/4" loop, shorten wire if
necessary, then solder connector directly to the black wire.
27. Take the pedals floormat provided and slide through the pedals on the left side. Use the
provided push button fasteners. It will be necessary to drill ¼” holes through the floormat and
floor sheet-metal.
28.To ensure a better seal of the cab to the tractor, it is recommended that a black silicone be
used between all weather stripping and tractor contact points.
If cab is equipped with a heater, proceed with the following steps.
