Getting Started
Before First Use
Remove any packaging material and promotional labels before using your kettle for the
rst time.
It is recommended to clean the kettle before rst use.
Fill the kettle to the maximum level with water, bring to the boil and then discard the water.
Operation of your Kettle
1. Remove the kettle from the power base.
Note: DO NOT operate the Kettle dry – this will activate the boil-dry protection and cause
the Kettle to turn “OFF”. DO NOT overll the Kettle past the maximum mark as this may
cause boiling water to splash out.
2. 3.
Open the lid by pressing the
button on the handle of the
kettle. The lid will lift upwards.
Fill with the desired amount of
water. The amount of water must
always be between the minimum
and maximum indicators.

12
4. Make sure the lid is closed by pushing down until it locks into place.
TIP: Wind excess cable beneath the base.
7. The Kettle will automatically switch OFF once the water is boiled. Lift the Kettle off
the base and pour the water into your desired vessel.
WARNING: The water will be hot. Be sure to pour slowly especially if lled to the
maximum level. Do not overll the kettle, because boiling water may be ejected.
NOTE: To re-boil you may need to wait a few seconds for the control to reset.
5. 6.
NOTE: The 360° base allows the kettle to rotate but DO NOT perform this action while the
kettle is ON.
Place the Kettle onto the power
base and plug the cord into a
power socket and switch on.
Press the ON/OFF switch to the
ON position. The ON/OFF switch

heating and automatically switch ‘OFF’.
If this occurs, switch off at the power outlet and unplug. Allow kettle to cool before
relling. The safety boil dry protection will automatically reset.

14
Descaling/Removing Mineral Deposits
Due to using tap water, your Kettle may appear discoloured inside from mineral deposits
over time. This is not rust and can be easily managed by following the below instructions.

cleaning or metal scourers; use a soft cloth and mild detergents.
To remove the mineral deposits you can purchase kettle descaler products from most
leading supermarkets, department stores and hardware stores. Be sure to read the
instructions before use.
Alternatively you can use everyday household products to clean your Kettle as well.
1. Open the Kettle lid and ll with 3 cups of white vinegar and top up with water to
maximum level. Allow to stand overnight. DO NOT BOIL.
2. Remove the solution, rell with fresh water and bring to the boil then discard the
water. Repeat and this should remove any build ups.

Ensure the kettle is turned off, unplugged, clean and dry before storing it. Stow the cord
