LIMITED WARRANTY
Küryakyn warrants that any Küryakyn products sold
hereunder, shall be free of defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the
date of purchase by the consumer excepting the fol-
lowing provisions:
• Küryakyn shall have no obligation in the event
the customer is unable to provide a receipt showing
the date the customer purchased the product(s).
• The product must be properly installed,
maintained and operated under normal conditions.
• Küryakyn makes no warranty, expressed or
implied, with respect to any gold plated products.
• Küryakyn shall not be liable for any consequential
and incidental damages, including labor and
paint, resulting from failure of a Küryakyn product,
failure to deliver, delay in delivery, delivery in noncon-
forming condition, or for any breech of contract or
duty between Küryakyn and a customer.
• Küryakyn products are often intended for use
in specic applications. Küryakyn makes no
warranty if a Küryakyn product is used in
applications other than intended.
• Küryakyn electrical products are warranted for one
(1) year from the date of purchase by the consumer.
Components of Küryakyn products containing L.E.D.s
will be warranted for defects in materials and
workmanship for 3 years from the date of purchase.
• Küryakyn makes no warranty of any kind in regard
to other manufacturer’s products distributed by
Küryakyn. Küryakyn will pass on all warranties made
by the manufacturer and where possible, will expedite
the claim on behalf of the customer,
but ultimately, responsibility for disposition of the
warranty claim lies with the manufacturer.

ATTENTION! This indication alerts you to the fact that ignoring the contents described herein
may negatively affect product performance and functionality.
  Mirror adapters (sold separately) are required for installation on metric cruisers.
For Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, or Victory models, use Küryakyn P/N 1445; for
Yamaha models, use Küryakyn P/N 1446.
  The included 1/8” Allen Wrench is only used in Part #’s: 1428, 1430, 1437 &
1438 to adjust the two fasteners which control the swivel ball tension.

Allen wrenches, combinations wrenches, red Loctite.


ATTENTION! It is the installers’ responsibility to make sure all fasteners (including pre-
assembled) are tightened before operation of motorcycle. Küryakyn will not
warranty components that are lost due to improper installation. Periodic
maintenance may be required.

Remove the stock mirrors; refer to your factory service manual for specific instructions.



 Several fasteners are included with the installation kit; choose the correct fastener length
for your application. Use the split washer and fastener combination that will provide the most thread
engagement without bottoming out in the mirror stem.
 Ensure that the setscrew in the mirror stem does not prevent the stud from being
fully installed. See PIC.1.
 Insert the fastener through the bottom of the hand control then through the turn
signal mounting plate. Install an internal tooth lock washer over the fastener shaft then tighten
the mirror stem. Tighten the setscrew to help prevent the stem from moving out of position.
See PIC.1.
 Adjust the mirrors for maximum visibility; secure the mirror head to the stem with a
5/16” wrench.

 Place a dab of red Loctite on the short threaded section of one of the double-ended studs;
install into the threaded hole on the bottom of the right side mirror stem. Tighten the stud; tighten the
set screw at the bottom of the mirror stem against the stud.
 Ensure that the setscrew in the mirror stem does not prevent the stud from being fully
installed. See PIC.1.
 Install an internal tooth lock washer over the remaining threaded section of the double-ended
stud; insert the assembly into the hand control. Secure in place with the cupped part of the universal
joint.
 Tighten the setscrew to help prevent the stem from moving out of position. See PIC.1.
 While holding the turn signal in position, tighten the ball joint until it is secure.

 Remove the four fasteners from the front of the mirror cover; carefully remove the front cover
and mirror glass.
 Turn the tension screws inside the mirror housing to increase or decrease the tension on the
ball joint. Turn the screws clockwise to increase tension; turn the screws counter-clockwise to decrease
tension.
 Replace the mirror glass and front cover, secure with the four fasteners.
