Note: For multi language installation manual, please install “Adobe Reader” from autorun after inserting
the CD into the CD ROM. Click “Browse” and open “Manual” file where multi language installation
manuals are in.

Chapter 1 : BD Maker Hardware Installation
1.1 Package Contents
Unpack your BD Maker package and make sure that all items are intact. The following items should be
included in your package:
zBD Maker Device
zMulti-cable
zExternal USB cable
zQuick start guide
zCD-ROM with driver
zCD-ROM with Cyberlink PowerDirector 7 and CyberLlink PowerProducer 5
zCD-ROM with 3DBank CG PAK and DV LOOPS
1.2 System Requirements
zPentium-IV 1.6GHz or higher (recommended)
z256 MB RAM of system memory or above (recommended)
zOne available USB2.0 port (preferably USB2.0)
zGraphics Card (Must support DirectX 9.0c)
zSound Card (AC97 compatible sound card)
z1GB Free HD Space
zCD-ROM Drive (For software installation)
zMicrosoft Windows XP/ Windows Vista/Apple MAC
1.3 Hardware Installation
Please follow the steps shown below for installation of your BD Maker and follow the pictorial guide below
for peripheral connections.
1. Connect the AV/S-VIDEO input into the BD Maker connector.
2. Plug BD Maker Dongle into the USB 2.0 port of your system.

Chapter 2 : BD Maker Quick Installation
The BD Maker package comes with complete Windows software utilities. These utilities can be found on the
CD-ROM in this package. During installation, it is highly recommended to disable any sub-programs. These
include applications such as antivirus software and system monitoring applications.
1. When you finish the hardware setup, the
“Found New Hardware Wizard” window
will pop up. Please click “Cancel” and you
can make use of BD Maker Quick
Installation for proper installation.
2. Insert the installation CD into the
CD ROM device. The autorun page
will appear as the left image. Please
choose “Driver Installation”.
Note: Your BD Maker device must
plug in the USB2.0 port before
installation.
3. Please select setup language then choose “OK”.

4. Click “Next” to install the BD Maker
driver.
5. Click “Install” to continue with the
installation, or click ‘’Back’’ if you want
to review or change any settings. Please
wait, while the installation is in process
6. Please choice “Finish” and Now the
driver has been installed on your
computer.

Chapter 3 : FAQ
1. How to check if the driver has been installed successfully or not?
Ans :Right click on “My Computer” on the desktop and choose “Properties”. Once in “Properties”
window, click on “Device Manager” in Hardware panel. Click on the plus icon of “Sound, video and
game controllers” to open the device list. See Fig.1 below.

2. How to uninstall device driver?
Ans：Click on “Start” on the left-down desktop and choose “Setting”. Once in “Control Panel” window,
click on “Add or Remove Programs”. Click on the plus icon of “Change or Remove Programs” then
choose “KWorld Editing Device Driver” to remove the device

3. How to convert files into MPEG4 (PSP and iPAD) and uploaded to YouTube.
MPEG-4 required to install additional Third-party the relevant Codec, such as DivX Codec… (can to
www.divx.com Download divx codec)
1. Please connect the hardware to the computer,
turn on PowerDirector. Click-on the "Capture"
Option and select "Setting" to choose source
input.
2. One-Touch Button to Start and End
Recording as the computer saves the file.

3. Please click-on the "Edit" Option, and
proceed with video editing.
Note. If you would like to upload the file
directly on to YouTube, please fast forward to
Step 7.
4. Please click-on the "Produce", select
"Create File" and proceed with "Next".
5. Please select "Portable MPEG4", and
choose the file format you would like to convert
to.

6. Please select "Start Rendering" to execute
file conversion. After the process is completed,
you may proceed to transfer file into your PSP
or iPod.
If you would like to upload the file into YouTube, please proceed with Step 3 and follow the on-screen
instruction.
7. Please click-on "Produce" option, select
"YouTube", and choose "Next".
8. Please import your ”YouTube” Uswename &
Password and choose ”Next”.(You can choose
“sign up YouTube” to application new Username
& Password)

9. Please fill-in the requested information, and
choose "Next".
10. Please check the box on the lower right,
and choose "Next".
11. Please click-on "Start", and wait for the
uploading process is completed.

12. When the file has completed loading, you
may preview online.
Note.
If you change operating systems (e.g. XP->VISTA or VISTA->XP), please re-install the driver in order
to make sure that the device continues to operate properly.
