Whenmeasuringcurrentwhichpulseelementissuperposed,differencesof
theindicatedvalue may becausedbetweenranges, if thepeakvalue
exceedsthemeasurementrangetoalargeextent.Inthiscase,thereading
atthebiggerrangeshouldbetakenasarightvalue.
SensitivetransformerjawsareusedforLeakageclampmeter.Becauseof
thecharacteristicsoftransformerjaws,whichcanbeopenedandclosed,it
isimpossible toeliminatetheinterferenceofexternalmagnetic field
completely.Iftherearesomething,whichgeneratinglargemagneticfield,at
anearbysite,currentvaluecanbedisplayed(0 cannotbedisplayed.)

SettheRange Selector Switch to any position otherthanthe OFF
position.Ifthemarksonthedisplayisclearlyvisiblewithout"BATT"
markshowing,batteryvoltageisOK.Ifthedisplayblanksor"BATT"
isindicated,replace the batteries according to section 8: Battery
Replacement.
NOTE
Whenthe instrumentisleftpoweredon, theSleepfunction
automatically shut the power off; The display blanks even if the
RangeSelectorSwitchis set to a position other than the OFF
positioninthisstate.Topowerontheinstrument,turntheRange
SelectorSwitchorpressanybutton.Ifthedisplaystillblanks,the
batteriesarecompletelyexhausted.Replacethebatteries.
