● Besureto removethetest leadfromthe mainspowersupply
promptlyaftermeasurement.Donotleavetheinstrument
connectedtothemainspowersupplyforalongtime.
WARNING
●Never open the instrument case -therearedangerousvoltages
present.Ifafaultdevelops,returntheinstrumenttoyourdistributor
forinspectionandrepair.
●Iftheoverheatsymbolappearsinthedisplay( )disconnectthe
instrumentfromthemainssupplyandallowtocooldown.
●Ifabnormalconditions ofanysortare noted(suchasa faulty
display,unexpected readings,broken case,cracked testleads,
etc)donotusethetesterandreturnittoyourdistributorforrepair.
●Neverattempttousetheinstrumentiftheinstrumentoryourhand
iswet.
CAUTION
●Forthosetesterswithout theD-LOKcircuitry(models4116A,
4118A)allRCD's(RCCB,ELCB)inthecircuitmustbeby-passed
forthedurationofthetest(exceptonloop-2000Ω range).
DonotoperatetheRCDTestButtonwiththeRCDby-passed.
●Duringtestingitispossiblethattheremaybeamomentary
degradationofthereadingduetothepresenceofexcessive
transientsordischargesontheelectricalsystemundertest.
Shouldthis be observed,the testmust berepeated toobtain a
correctreading.Ifindoubt,contactyourdistributor.
●Use a damp cloth and detergent for cleaning the instrument. Do
notuseabrasivesorsolvents.
