IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using the Electric Ice Shaver, basic safety precautions should always be
followed:
Always operate your KYOWA Electric Ice Shaver from a power source of
the same voltage and frequency rating as indicated on the rating label.
Do not place the ice shaver on uneven surfaces. Place upon a flat, non-
slip area surface and far from the edge.
Do not operate the Electric Ice Shaver if any part of it has been damaged.
Return the appliance to the nearest authorized dealer or service facility
for repair.
Do not operate or place any part of your KYOWA Electric Ice Shaver on or
near any hot surface such as a gas or electric burner, hotplate or heated
oven.
Do not use or replace accessories other than the ones originally provided.
Never put your fingers or any utensil into the processing chamber to free
any stuck ice.
Do not operate Electric Ice Shaver for more than 3 minutes at stretch.
Allow unit to rest for 1 minute before turning ON again.
Do not use ice shaver for crushing frozen fruit juices or any other frozen
liquids other than water ice cubes to avoid damaging or corroding internal
components.
Never leave the ice shaver unattended when in use.
Switch OFF and unplug the Electric Ice Shaver from outlet before filling,
emptying, when not in use or before cleaning.
Hold plug when unplugging from socket. Do not unplug by pulling the
supply cord.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not immerse or expose the ice
shaver to rain, moisture or any liquid.
Keep out of reach from children or from persons with mental or physical
disabilities.
This KYOWA Electric Ice Shaver is intended for normal
domestic/household use only. This unit is not suitable for commercial use.

Before using for the first time, kindly take time to carefully read your
instruction manual. Please observe all safety precautions and follow
operating procedures. After reading, kindly store your instruction manual in
a safe place for your future reference. Should you pass on this Electric Ice
Shaver to a third party, please hand over this instruction manual as well.

HOW TO USE
Place Ice Cubes Receptacle inside the Main Body of the ice shaver. Be
extra careful when assembling ice shaver to avoid getting cut from the
blade inside.
Put ice cubes inside the Ice Receptacle. The size of ice cubes to be used
should not be larger than 25 x 25 x 25 mm (1’ x 1’ x 1’) and not more
than 400 grams.
Put Lid on top of the Ice Receptacle by turning it clockwise. A click sound
indicates that the Lid is secured in place.
Place the Ice Receptacle Bowl below the Shaved Ice Outlet.
Turn ON the unit.
Repeat operation until you have crushed desired amount of ice or the
bowl is already full.
CLEAN AND CARE
Clean Electric Ice Shaver after every use.
Use a soft, damp cloth when cleaning the external parts of the ice shaver.
Wash Lid and Ice Receptacle with warm soapy water.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents or any metallic and sharp objects
(e.g. scrubbing brush or knife) for cleaning.
Do not use dishwasher fro cleaning movable parts of the ice shaver.
After washing, wipe dry all parts with a soft, dry cloth.
Put back parts and accessories of the ice shaver to their proper places
before operating again.
Store in a cool and dry place.
SERVICE
Do not operate your KYOWA Electric Ice Shaver if the unit malfunctions or
appears damaged in any manner. Bring the complete product to the place
of purchase or to any authorized KYOWA dealers for inspection, repair or
replacement.
Do not disassemble your KYOWA Electric Ice Shaver by yourself. No user
serviceable parts inside. Refer all needed repair to an authorized KYOWA
service facility ONLY.
