The LaCie Wireless Space takes network-attached storage to the
next level by implementing Wi-Fi technology, making it easy for
you to access your files, no matter where they are in your house.
It has three pre-configured modes that allow you to create a Wi-Fi
access point, a Wi-Fi Ethernet extender to connect your printers or
computers, or you can even use it as a Gigabit router.
Keep It All Organized
Even if you already have a Wi-Fi modem, you can use the LaCie
Wireless Space as wireless storage; with capacities of 1 and 2TB, it
holds all of your music, movies, and photos, helping you to access
them on any computer on your home network. Backing up your files
wirelessly, whether on a PC and a Mac®(and the Wireless Space is
Time Machine®compatible) helps you save space and cuts down on
the number of cables you have to use, saving you hassle and resources.
Replace Your Cable Box
With static and dynamic port forwarding and PPoE connections, the
Wireless Space performs even better than your cable router thanks
to Wi-Fi n and Gigabit Ethernet performance. You can even stream
movies from the Wireless Space to any UPnP™/DLNA®compatible
device, and works in tandem with iTunes®. Now, it’s simple to organize
your files in a central location and play them on all your devices.
Extraordinary Design
Designed exclusively for LaCie by Neil Poulton, the compact
Wireless Space has a sophisticated, understated style. Its elegant,
unobtrusive presence blends beautifully into your multimedia
setup. This sleek network hard disk has a fashionable, mirror-
polished black finish with two unique distinguishing features—a
cool, blue LED strip on its underside that creates an ambient glow,
and a touch-sensitive WPS button. Its smartly engineered design
allows for natural heat dissipation and near-silent operation.
