Intended use
Intended for continuous Kangaroo Mother Care (KMC) for a newborn weighing up to
2500 gram. Recommended for use after guidance from trained health worker.
KMC Posture
While using CarePlus, ensure that the newborn has good skin-to-skin contact.
The newborn’s head should be well supported and visible for clear airway.
Quality KMC
• Maintain proper KMC posture.
• Provide continuous KMC for as much time as possible.
• Frequent breastfeeding as recommended by the health worker.
Adjustment for smaller babies
For smaller babies, fold from the bottom
edge to adjust the height of CarePlus

Tie securely at waist before placing
the baby.
Support the baby with one hand.
Cross the straps on the back with the
other hand.
Position the baby in KMC posture.
Place a soft cloth in between the baby
and CarePlus.Wear wrap over the baby.
Bring straps to front and tie securely.
Ensure the baby is snugly fit inside.
Adjust CarePlus to support the neck.

Attention
• Protect the baby from hazards in the domestic environment, i.e. heat sources, spilling
of hot drinks.
• Do not use CarePlus with more than 2 children or for more than 2.5 kg weight.
• Your movement and the child’s movement may affect your balance.
• Take care when bending or leaning forwards or sideways.
• The sling is not suitable for use during sporting activities e.g. running, cycling,
swimming and skiing.
• There is increased risk of your child falling out of the sling as it becomes more active.
• Regularly inspect the sling for any signs of wear and damage.
• Keep this sling away from children when it is not in use.
WARNINGS:
• Constantly monitor your child and ensure the mouth and nose are unobstructed.
• For pre-term, low birthweight babies and children with medical conditions, seek advice
from a health professional before using this product.
• Ensure your child’s chin is not resting on its chest as breathing may be restricted which
could lead to suffocation.
• To prevent hazards from falling ensure that your child is securely positioned in the sling.
To clean
1. Wash in clean water with mild detergent.
2. Rinse in clean water to remove any detergent.
3. Dry completely before use.
