Thank you for purchasing the LAMAX S5 Navi+ multimedia system. You’ve acquired a depen-
dable travel companion for your road trips. Throughout most of the EU, you’ll be able to record
footage whilst driving and thus protect your property and your safety.

Product Installation
1) The front camera attaches to the rear-view mirror using rubber clips. Adjust the mirror so
you can see the rear window. Adjust the front camera lens so that is is roughly aimed at the
front centre of the vehicle.
2) The power cable plugs into the cigarette lighter and should be securely xed around the
windscreen so as not to obstruct the driver’s view.
3) Attach the rear camera with the 3M adhesive pad to the rear window of the car. The cable
connecting the front and rear camera should ideally run under the upholstery of the car.
Connect the red wire to the reversing lights. When reversing, the display switches to the
image from the rear camera and displays the reversing lines.
4) Some vehicles continue to power the cigarette lighter when the engine is turned o. In this
case, before leaving the vehicle, unplug the power cable from the cigarette lighter.
5) When using the device for the rst time, the battery may be low. If the device will not switch
on due to a low battery, manually connect the external power cord and recharge the batte-
ry.
6) Use only microSDHC cards of class 10 and higher from reputable brands. For optimal recor-
ding time, we recommend using cards with a capacity of at least 8GB and up to 32GB. When
using the card for the rst time, we recommend formatting it.
Using the LAMAX S5 Navi+
Car Camera

1) Powering the Device
a) Camera can be powered by connecting it via a USB cable to a computer, using the power
cord or using a USB car charger connected to the car cigarette lighter.
b) Camera is designed to have a constant power supply. The built-in battery can not be re-
moved or replaced.
2) Connecting the Rear Camera
Plug the cable connecting the front and rear camera into the round AV connector on top of
the mirror. In recording mode, the picture is displayed on the back of the camera, in the upper
right corner of the display.
3) Inserting a MicroSDHC Card
The microSDHC card should be inserted and removed from the microSDHC card slot only
when the camera is switched o and not connected to a computer or power source.
4) Connecting the GPS Module
Plug the GPS module into the round connector at the top of the mirror. Attach the GPS module
on top of the dashboard using the 3M adhesive pad. Securely x the cable around the wind-
screen so as not to obstruct the driver‘s view.
5) Turning the Camera On and O
a) To turn the camera on press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3-5 seconds.
b) Camera automatically turns on when connected to a power supply.
c) To turn the camera o press and hold the ON/OFF button for 3-5 seconds.
d) Camera automatically turns o when disconnected from a power supply.

6) Returning to the Menu
Press the Menu button to return to the directory of multimedia system functions.
7) Turning Navigation On
Press the navigation button to start the current primary navigation app. You can store multi-
ple navigation systems on the LAMAX S5 Navi+ multimedia system. Press and hold the icon in
the navigation menu to choose the primary navigation system.
8) Audio Controls
Left and right arrows control the audio of the device.
9) Controls
Camera is controlled by a combination of touch controls and physical buttons below the dis-
play. Most controls are the same as standard Android tablet controls.
a. Navigation Icon
Touch to start navigating.
b. Menu Icon
Touch the icon to switch to the multimedia system pop-up menu.
c. Hide Panel Icon
Touch the icon to hide the left control icon bar.
d. Settings Icon
Touch to access basic volume controls, brightness, WLAN and other specic settings.
e. Back Icon
Touch to return to the previous screen.
f. Lock Video Icon
Touch to lock the current recording. The locked le will not be overwritten in the camera
when loop recording.
g. Camera Shutter Icon
Touch to take a photo from the front camera.
h. Record Video Icon
Touch to start or stop recording.
i. Mute/Unmute Microphone Icon
Touch to turn the camera microphone on or o whilst recording.
j. Camera Settings Icon
Touch to adjust the video resolution, photo quality, loop recording, rear camera rotation,
G-sensor sensitivity, SD card formatting.
k. Switch between Cameras
Touch the rearview camera image to switch between front and rear cameras.

10) Bluetooth
Using Bluetooth you can connect the device to your mobile phone and use it handsfree. The
Bluetooth app has four tabs to control the app – Recent Calls, Contacts, Dial and Settings. The
recent calls tab lists all calls made. In the contacts tab, press the blue icon in the bottom left
corner to upload you contacts to the device from the phonebook. Contacts only appear when
you connect the device to your phone. To dial a phone number that is not in the phonebook,
click on the Dial tab. In the Settings tab you can nd basic information about Bluetooth, its
status, device name, repair connectivity option and more.
11) CarRec
CarRec app is used for shooting videos and taking photos.
12) File Manager
File Manager app is used to manage les. You can toggle between internal and external me-
mory, lter videos and photos, nd out le info or move, copy and delete les.
13) FM
FM app connects the device with the radio. Set the car radio to the same frequency as the
device. Use the radio to play music and make video or phone calls through your car speakers.
14) Music and Gallery
Play music and videos through the Music and Gallery app. The app not only plays videos shot
on the car camera, but also movies, video clips and other video les.
15) Navigator
Navigator app serves as the primary navigation system. After launching the application, Navi-
gator asks which maps you want to use. OpenStreetMaps (OSM) comes as part of the device. If
you need to install maps, make sure you are near a Wi-Fi connection. The license covers maps
for the whole of Europe.
16) Real Time GPS Tracker
Real Time GPS Tracker app allows you to monitor devices via a web interface in real time. Re-
gistration and all application information can be found at:

17) Settings
a. Wi-Fi
Turn on, locate and set up a Wi-Fi connection. Touch the icon to refresh the list of avai-
lable Wi-Fi networks. Press the icon to add the network. Press the icon to access
Wi-Fi settings.
b. Devices
Under the Normal section, set the volume, brightness, sleep mode or restore factory
settings. Restoring factory settings will erase all data and applications that were not inclu-
ded in the factory settings. In the Storage section you will nd all the information on the
memory size, how full the memory is and le structure. In the Applications section you can
manage your installed apps.

c. Personal
Under the Location section set options to determine the position of the device. In the
Language and Input section, set the language for the device, the input, the keyboard and
spellchecking.
d. System
Under the Date and Time section, set the current date and time, date format and select the
time zone. The device can use the network time.
Further Features of the LAMAX S5 Navi+
1) Accessing the Internet
Device can be connected via Wi-Fi to the Internet either to an access point or to mobile device
set up as a hot spot. When you download or update data from the Internet, make sure you
are not connected via a hot spot. Some updates are data intensive and can drain your FUP.
2) Downloading Applications
On the device you can download and use applications specic to this type of system.
To download apps you can use the Aptiode App Store. Apps can be downloaded from:

The LAMAX S5 Navi+ device is primarily designed for use as a tablet. Browsing the Internet
and using downloaded applications may cause problems with the functioning of the device.
Some apps may not be compatible with the device. If the app causes problems, uninstall it. If
uninstall does not work, back up all data and restore factory settings on the device.

Produktinstallation
1) Befestigen Sie die vordere Kamera zum Rückblickspiegel mit Hilfe der Gummihalter. Stellen
Sie den Spiegel so ein, dass Sie im Spiegel den Raum der Heckscheibe sehen können. Die
Linse der vorderen Kamera stellen Sie so ein, dass Sie ungefähr in die Mitte vor das Fahrzeug
gerichtet ist.
2) Führen Sie das Stromkabel in den Autozünder um die Frontscheibe herum, damit das Sicht-
feld des Fahrers nicht eingeschränkt wird, und befestigen Sie es.
3) Befestigen Sie die hintere Kamera mit Hilfe eines 3M-Aufklebers auf die Rückscheibe des
Kraftfahrzeugs. Führen Sie das Verbindungskabel zwischen der vorderen und hinteren
Kamera bestens unter der Polsterung. Verbinden Sie das rote Kabel mit dem Rückfahrs-
cheinwerfer. Beim Einschalten des schaltet das Display auf das Bild aus der hinteren Kamera
und die Rückfahrtlinien werden gezeigt.
4) Manche Kraftfahrzeuge unterbrechen die Stromversorgung in den Zünder auch beim Auss-
chalten des Motors nicht. In diesem Fall nehmen Sie das Kabel aus dem Autozünder aus,
bevor Sie den das Kfz verlassen.
5) Wenn Sie das Gerät zum ersten Mal verwenden, kann der Ladestand der Batterie niedrig
sein. Wenn das Gerät aufgrund einer niedrigen Energie nicht eingeschaltet werden kann,
schließen Sie manuell das Kabel für externe Stromversorgung an und laden Sie die Batterie
ein.
6) Verwenden Sie Marken-Mikro-SDHC-Karten Für eine optimale Ausnutzung der Aufna-
hmelänge empfehlen wir die Karten mit der Kapazität von mindestens 8GB, höchstens
32GB. Bei der Erstverwendung der Speicherkarte empfehlen wir, die Karte zu formatieren.
Verwendung der Autokamera

1) Stromversorgung
a) Die Kamera kann entweder über das USB-Kabel am Computer oder über das Einspei-
sungskabel und USB Car Charger in den Autozünder direkt im Fahrzeug mit Strom versorgt
werden.
b) Die Kamera ist zur ständigen Stromversorgung bestimmt. Die integrierte Batterie kann we-
der ausgenommen noch ausgetauscht werden.
2) Anschluss der hinteren Kamera
Schließen Sie das Kabel, das das vordere und hintere Kabel verbindet, in den runden AV-Stec-
ker im Oberteil des Spiegels an. Im Aufnahmemodus erschein ein Bild aus der hinteren Kamera
in der rechten oberen Ecke des Displays.
3) Einlegen der Micro-SDHC-Karte
Die Micro-SDHC-Karte können Sie in den Mikro-SDHC-Kartenslot einlegen oder aus dem Kar-
tenslot ausnehmen, wenn die Kamera ausgeschaltet ist und nicht zum PC oder zur Stromver-
sorgung angeschlossen ist.
4) Anschluss des GPS-Moduls
Schließen Sie das GPS-Modul in den Rundsteckverbinder im oberen Teil des Spiegels. Kleben
Sie das GPS-Modul mit Hilfe eines 3M-Aufklebers auf die Oberseite des Steuerpultes. Führen
Sie das Stromkabel um die Frontscheibe herum, damit das Sichtfeld des Fahrers nicht ein-
geschränkt wird, und befestigen Sie es.

5) Ein- und Ausschalten der Kamera
a) Die Kamera wird durch Gedrückt-Halten der Taste EIN/AUS für 3-5 Sekunden eingeschaltet.
b) Die Kamera wird automatisch in den Speiseanschluss eingeschaltet.
c) Die Kamera wird durch Gedrückt-Halten der Taste EIN/AUS für 3-5 Sekunden ausgeschaltet.
d) Die Kamera wird automatisch nach Freischalten vom Speiseanschluss ausgeschaltet.
6) Umschalten ins Menü
Durch Drücken der Taste Menü schalten Sie das Display zum Wegweiser der einzelnen Funkti-
onen des multimedialen Systems.
7) Navigationsgerät einschalten
Durch Drücken der Taste Navigationsgerät stellen Sie die aktuell primäre Navigationsapplika-
tion an. Zum multimedialen System LAMAX S5 Navi+ können Sie mehrere Navigationsgeräte
installieren. Wenn Sie das Icon Navigationsgerät im Menü gedrückthalten, können Sie eines
der Navigationsgeräte als primär wählen.
8) Soundregelung
Mit den Pfeilen nach links und nach rechts regeln Sie die Lautstärke des Geräts.
9) Bedienung
Die Kamera wird durch die Kombination der Taststeuerung und der Tasten unter dem Dis-
play betätigt. Die meiste Bedienung entspricht der gewöhnlichen Bedienung von Android in
Tablets.
a. Ikon Navigation
Durch das Drücken des Ikons schalten Sie die Navigation ein.
b. Ikon Menü
Das Ikon Menü schaltet auf den Wegweiser der einzelnen Funktionen des multimedialen
Systems um.
c. Ikon Bedienfeld verstecken
Das Ikon Bedienungsfeld verstecken ermöglicht es, das linke vertikale Icon-Bedie-
nungsfeld zu verstecken.
d. Ikon Einstellung
Durch das Drücken des Ikons kommen Sie zur Grundeinstellung von der Lautstärke, Beleu-
chtungsstärke, WLAN und weitere detaillierte Einstellungen.
e. Ikon Zurück
Das Ikon Zurück ermöglicht, zum vorherigen Display zurückzugreifen.
f. Ikon Video sperren
Durch das Drücken des Ikons Video sperren schließen Sie die aktuell aufgenommene Da-
tei. Die gesperrte Datei wird so während der zyklischen Aufnahme nicht überschrieben.
g. Ikon Auslöser des Fotoapparats
Durch das Drücken des Ikons Auslöser des Fotoapparats nehmen Sie ein Bild durch die
vordere Kamera auf.
h. Ikon Auslöser der Videokamera
Durch das Drücken des Ikons Auslöser der Videokamera schalten Sie die Videoaufnahme
ein oder aus.
i. Ikon Ein-/Ausschalten des Mikrophons
Durch das Drücken des Ikons schalten Sie das Kameramikrofon bei der Aufnahme ein oder
aus.

j. Ikon Kameraeinstellung
Durch das Drücken des Ikons können Sie die Videoauösung, Fotosqualität, Loop-Aufnah-
me, spiegelverkehrte Hinterkamera, die Empndlichkeit von G-sensor, Kompressionen der
SD Speicherkarte einstellen.
k. Umschaltung zwischen den Videokameras
Durch das Drücken Umschaltung zwischen den Videokameras, schalten Sie zwischen ver-
schiedenen Abbildungsmodi der vorderen und hinteren Kamera um.
10) Bluetooth
Sie können sich zu ihrem Mobiltelefon über Bluetooth anschließen und es als Handsfree be-
nutzen. Die Bluetooth-Applikation hat vier Tabs zur Bedienung der Applikation - Letzte Anru-
fe, Kontakte, Telefonnummer anrufen und Einstellungen. Im Tab Letzte Anrufe nden Sie die
Liste von allen getätigten Anrufen. Im Tab Kontakte drücken Sie das blaue Icon in der linken
Ecke unten. So laden Sie alle Ihre Kontakte aus der Telefonliste ins Gerät herunter. Die Kontak-
te werden erst nach dem Anschluss des Geräts zum Telefon angezeigt. Wollen Sie eine Tele-
fonnummer wählen, die nicht in der Telefonliste ist, klicken Sie auf den Tab Telefonnummer
anrufen. Im Tab Einstellungen nden Sie die Grundinformationen über Bluetooth, sein Status,
Bezeichnung des Geräts, mögliche Anschlussreparaturen usw.
11) CarRec
Die Applikation CarRec dient zur Video- und Bildaufnahme.
12) File Manager
Die Applikation File Manager dient zur Dateiverwaltung. Sie können zwischen dem internen
und externen Speicher umschalten, Videos und Fotos ltern, Informationen über Dateien er-
mitteln, bzw. Dateien verschieben, löschen und kopieren.
13) FM
Die Applikation FM dient zur Verbindung des Geräts mit dem Radio. Sie stellen die gleiche
Frequenz im Radio und im Gerät ein. So können Sie in Ihrem Radio bzw. in den Lautsprechern
im Auto die Musik, Videos oder Anrufe anlassen.
14) Musik und Galerie
Über die Applikation Musik und Galerie können Sie Audio- und Videodateien überspielen. Die
Applikation stellt nicht nur Videos aus der Autokamera an, sondern auch Filme, Videoclips
und weitere Videodateien.
15) Navigator
Die Applikation Navigator dient als primäres Navigationsgerät. Nach Starten der Applikation
fragt Sie der Navigator, welche Karten Sie verwenden wollen. OpenStreetMaps (OSM) sind
Bestandteil des Geräts. Wenn Sie die Landkarten nachinstallieren müssen, stellen Sie sicher,
dass Sie sich in der Nähe von WiFi-Verbindung benden. Die Lizenz zu den Landkarten gilt
für ganze Europa.
16) Real Time GPS Tracker
Die Applikation Real Time GPS Tracker ermöglicht es, das Gerät über die Webschnittstelle in
Realzeit zu folgen. Die Registrierung und alle Informationen über die Applikation nden Sie
unter https://www.greenalp.com/RealTimeTracker/.

17) Einstellungen
a. WiFi

Sie ein Netzwerk hinzu. Durch Drücken des Icons greifen Sie in die WiFi-Einstellungen

b. Gerät
Im Bereich Normal stellen Sie die Lautstärke, Helligkeit, Stand-by ein oder Sie setzen
die werkseitige Konguration zurück. Die Rücksetzung der werkseitigen Konguration
löscht alle Daten und Applikationen, die kein Inhalt der werkseitigen Konguration sind.
Im Bereich Speicherung nden Sie alle Informationen über die Speichergröße, Füllstand
und Zusammensetzung der Dateien. Im Bereich Applikation können Sie die installierten
Applikationen verwalten.
c. Privates
Im Bereich Lage stellen Sie die Möglichkeit ein, die Lage durch das Gerät zu bestimmen. Im
Bereich Sprache und Eingabe stellen Sie die Sprache für das Gerät und die Tastatur sowie
die Rechtschreibkontrolle ein.
d. System
Im Bereich Datum und Zeit stellen Sie das aktuelle Datum und die Uhrzeit, das Datenformat
ein und Sie wählen die Zeitzone aus. Das Gerät kann die Zeit vom Netzwerk verwenden.

Das Gerät LAMAX S5 Navi+ wurde primär nicht zur Verwendung als Tablet projektiert. Das
Surfen im Internet und Verwendung der heruntergeladenen Applikationen kann Probleme
mit der Funktionsfähigkeit des Geräts verursachen. Einige Applikationen können nicht kom-

patibel mit dem Gerät sein. Falls die Applikationen Probleme verursachen, deinstallieren Sie
sie. Wenn das Deinstallieren das Problem nicht löst, speichern Sie alle Daten und setzen Sie
das Gerät in die werkseitige Konguration rück.

Instalace produktu
1) Přední kameru připevněte ke zpětnému zrcátku pomocí gumových úchytek. Zrcátko na-
stavte tak, abyste přes zrcátko viděli prostor zadního okna. Čočku přední kamery nastavte
tak, aby mířila zhruba na střed před vozidlem.
2) Kabel napájení do autozapalovače veďte okolo předního skla tak, aby nepřekážel řidiči ve
výhledu a bezpečně ho upevněte.
3) Zadní kameru připevněte pomocí 3M samolepky na zadní okno automobilu. Propojovací
kabel mezi přední a zadní kamerou veďte ideálně pod čalouněním auta. Červený kabel pro-
pojte s couvacím světlem. Při zařazení zpátečky se displej přepne na obraz ze zadní kamery
a zobrazí se couvací linky.
4) Některá vozidla nepřeruší napájení do zapalovače ani po vypnutí motoru. V takovém přípa-
dě před opuštěním vozu vyjměte kabel z autozapalovače.
5) Pokud používáte zařízení poprvé, baterie může být málo nabitá. Jestliže nelze zařízení spus-
tit z důvodů nízké energie, připojte ručně kabel externího napájení a nabijte tak baterii.
6) Používejte značkové micro SDHC karty třídy 10 a vyšší. Pro optimální využití délky záznamu
doporučujeme používat karty o kapacitě alespoň 8GB, maximálně však 32GB. V případě prv-
ního použití paměťové karty ji doporučujeme naformátovat.

1) Napájení
a) Kameru můžete připojit ke zdroji jak pomocí USB kabelu do počítače, tak pomocí napájecí-
ho kabelu a USB Car Chargeru do autozapalovače přímo ve voze.
b) Kamera je určena k trvalému napájení. Integrovanou baterii nelze vyjmout ani vyměnit.
2) Připojení zadní kamery
Připojte kabel propojující přední a zadní kabel do kulatého AV konektoru v horní části zrcátka.
V režimu natáčení se objeví obraz ze zadní kamery v pravém horním rohu displeje.
3) Vložení Micro SDHC karty
Micro SDHC kartu můžete vložit a vyjmout ze slotu pro micro SDHC kartu, když je kamera vy-
pnutá a není připojená k počítači nebo napájení
4) Připojení GPS modulu
GPS modul připojte do kulatého konektoru v horní části zrcátka. GPS modul přilepte pomocí
3M samolepky na vršek palubní desky. Kabel veďte okolo předního skla, aby nepřekážel řidiči
ve výhledu a bezpečně ho upevněte.
5) Zapnutí a vypnutí kamery
a) Kameru zapnete stisknutím a podržením tlačítka ZAP/VYP po dobu 3-5 sekund.
b) Kamera se automaticky zapne po připojení do napájení.
c) Kameru vypnete stisknutím a podržením tlačítka ZAP/VYP po dobu 3-5 sekund.
d) Kamera se automaticky vypne po odpojení z napájení.
6) Přepnutí do menu
Stisknutím tlačítka Menu přepnete obrazovku na rozcestník jednotlivých funkcí multime-
diálního systému.
