BeforeyoustartusingLaMetric,pleasereadthisinformationtoensureyourownsafetyandextendthe
servicelifeofyourdevice.
1. LaMetriccanbedamagedifdroppedorburned.Don’tuseadamagedLaMetric,asitmaycause
injury.Don’tattempttorepairLaMetricyourself.
2. Donotdisassembleormodifythedevice.Modificationordisassemblyofthedevicecouldresult
infireorelectricalshock.
3. Donotexposeyourdevicetoexcessivelyhighorlowtemperatures.Avoiddirectsunlight.
4. Avoidheatingorcoolingthebattery.Anexcessivelyhotbatterymaycauseskinburns.
5. Avoidexposuretoliquidsordamp(donotusethedeviceintherain,inthestreetathigher
humidity,nearbodiesofwateretc.).Avoidpenetrationofliquidsormoisturesincethismay
causeshortcircuitand/ordamagetothebattery.
6. Avoidanymechanicalpressureonthescreen.Protectthescreenfromobjectsthatmayscratch
ordamageit.
7. DonotputobjectsonyourLaMetric.
8. Donotplaceyourdeviceonanunstable,slantorvibrantsurface.
9. UsedeviceonlywithoriginalpoweradapterandUSBcable.
10. Useonlyoriginalsoftware.
11. UseLaMetriconlyindoor.
12. Useyourdevicecarefullytoenjoyitlonger.

NowyouareholdingLaMetricinyourhandsandcannotwaittostartusingit.Followthreeeasysteps
tostart.
3.1.Step1.Turnonthedevice
ConnectLaMetrictoapoweroutletviaUSBcableandpoweradapter.PresstheOn/Offbuttontostart
upyourLaMetric.
LookatLaMetricscreenandyouwillseeaninvitationtosetup-
Itmeansthatyourdeviceiswaitingwhileyouconfigureitviamobileapp.
3.2.Step2.Downloadsmartphoneapp
Visitgo.lametric.comfromyoursmartphonetodownloadiOSorAndroidapp.
3.3.Step3.Registerandconfigurethedevice
3.3.1.Registration
Atfirst,youshouldcreateanaccountthatwillbeconnectedtoyourdevice,sonobodyelsewillbeable
tochangeyoursettings.
1.OpenLaMetricapponyoursmartphonebytappingandchoose“Signup”.

2.Enteryouremail,nameandpassword(itshouldbenolessthan6symbols).Confirmpasswordon
thelastfield.

Nowyoucanstarttoconfigureyourdevice.
1.MakesureLaMetricisready.LookatLaMetric,itshouldbewaitingconnectionfromyourphoneor
tablet.TapNexttocontinue.

2.ConnecttoLaMetric.
NowyoucanseeuniquenameofyourLaMetriconthescreen.Youshould
connectyoursmartphoneortablettotheWi-Finetworkwiththisname.
● IfyouuseiPhone,justpresstheHomebuttononyoursmartphoneandgotoyouriPhone’s
Wi-Fisettings.ChoosenetworkwiththenamewhichyouseeonLaMetric.Comebackto
LaMetricapp.
● IfyouuseAndroid,simplychooseanetworkwiththesamenamewhichyouseeonLaMetric.

3.ConnectLaMetrictohome/officeWi-Finetwork.SelectyourhomeorofficeWi-Finetwork,which
youusuallyuse,toconnectLaMetrictoandenterthepassword.TapSetupintherightcorneron
iPhone,ortapNextonAndroidsmartphonetocontinue.

4.WaitafewsecondswhileLaMetricisconnectingtoWi-Finetwork.

TimeatLaMetric.Congratulations,yourLaMetricistickingnow!YoucanpresstheRightorLeft
navigationbuttontoswitchbetweenbasicappsaswell.Butthisisnottheend!Youmightwantto
continuedeviceconfigurationandmakeitshowotherinformation.YoujustneedtotapGowhensuch
screenappears.
Do you see LaMetric with a clock on the screen? Tap it to open a screen, where you can adjust settings
ofbasicapplications.

Ifforsomereasonyoucannotconfigureyourdevice,selectapossiblecaseamongfollowing,
dependingonthescreenthatarises:
1.Ifyouseethisscreen,itmeansthatconfigurationprocesswasinterruptedandnotcompleted.
Justtap+
tosetupyourLaMetric.Thenfollowallstepsofconfigurationprocessfrom

2.IfyouenteredanincorrectpasswordtoyourhomeorofficeWi-Finetwork,therewillappearascreen
withanerror.YoushouldcheckwhetherWi-Fipasswordhasnotbeenrecentlychanged.TapTry
again
andentercorrectpassword.

3.Theerror,thatyouseeonascreenbelow,mayappearbecauseofsomesettingsofyourWi-Fi
router.Atfirst,trytorebootyourrouter.Ifitdoesnotwork,youshouldcheckMACAddressFilteron
yourrouter,itshouldbeoff.Ifitison,youneedtoaddtothisfilterMACAddress,thatyouseeonthe
screenandmakesure,thatDHCPonyourrouterison.
Youmayalsocontactaperson,whoisresponsibleforsettingsofyourrouter,tomakethesesettings
andsolvetheproblem.
4.Ifyouseethefollowingscreen,makesure,thatyourWi-FinetworkhasaccesstotheInternetand
contactyourInternetserviceproviderifnecessary.

5.Ifyouseethefollowingscreen,trytoconfigureLaMeticagain.Read3.3.2.Configuration
tofindout
howtodoit.

7.Thiserrormayarisewhentimesettingsonyoursmartphoneareincorrect.Checkitandtryagain.
8. If you see the below error, device is connected to another user account. You should use mobile
application under correct account or reset LaMetric to factory defaults to register it under the other
account.

9. If connection between your device and smartphone was lost, you should connect to LaMetric again.

10. The following error may occur if Wi-Fi network on your smartphone is not the same as was chosen
toconnectLaMetricto.TapGotItandconnectyoursmartphonetotherightone.
11. If the problem arises because additional settings on your router are required, you will be headed to
thefollowingscreen.

YourWi-FinetworkconfigurationpreventsdevicesfromcommunicatingwithLaMetric.Inorder
toresolvethisissue,youwillneedtodisableAP(accesspoint)isolation,APisolation(also
knownas'ClientIsolation'or'GuestMode')onyourrouter.Pleaserefertoyourrouter
documentationtolearnhowtodisableAPisolation.
Ifyoudonothaveaccesstoyourroutersettings,orifyouareattemptingtoconnectthrougha
guest,hotelorpublicnetworkwithAP/clientisolation,youwillbeunabletosetupyourLaMetric.
IfyouareattemptingtoconnectthroughaWi-Fiextender,pleasecheckyourextendersettings.
YouwillneedtodisableAPisolationonyourWi-FiextenderbeforesettingupLaMetrictowork
withyourWi-Finetwork.

Afterfinishingconfigurationprocessstarttomanageyourdevicefromthescreenbelow.
WhenyouseeLaMetricwithaclockonthescreen,itmeansthatyourdeviceisconnectedtoyour
smartphoneortabletandyoucanmanageitviamobileapplication.TapLaMetriconthisscreen.
Nowyoucanconfigurebasicapps,suchas4.2.1.AlarmClock
,4.2.2.Weather
,4.2.3.Radio
,4.2.4.
Stopwatch
,4.2.5.Timer

WhenyouseethescreenwithnotavailableLaMetric,itmeansthatdeviceandsmartphonecannot
connecteachother.
TaponLaMetrictofindoutthereasonoftheproblem.
Thereappearsthescreenwithpossiblecases.Scrolltofindoutallofthem.
Youshouldchooseone,dependingonwhatLaMetricshowsonthescreen.

Lookatyourdevice:
1. Ifyousee ,itmeansLaMetriclostWi-Fi,itmayhappenwhen
devicewasmovedtoanotherplace.Taponthesameimageonthescreen,thenclickonSetup
andbeginconfigurationprocessfrom3.3.2.Configuration
.
2.TaponifyouseesomeinformationonLaMetric’sdisplay,but
cannotconfigureit.Theremightbeseveralreasonsofthis:
● MaybeWi-FinetworkonyoursmartphoneisnotthesameaswaschosentoconnectLaMetric
to.TapGotItandconnectyoursmartphonetotherightone.

● Iftheproblemarisesbecauseadditionalsettingsonyourrouterarerequired,youwillbeheaded
tosuchscreen.
YourWi-FinetworkconfigurationpreventsdevicesfromcommunicatingwithLaMetric.Inorder
toresolvethisissue,youwillneedtodisableAP(accesspoint)isolation,APisolation(also
knownas'ClientIsolation'or'GuestMode'),onyourrouter.Pleaserefertoyourrouter
documentationtolearnhowtodisableAPisolation.
Ifyoudonothaveaccesstoyourroutersettings,orifyouareattemptingtoconnectthrougha
guest,hotelorpublicnetworkwithAP/clientisolation,youwillbeunabletosetupyourLaMetric.
IfyouareattemptingtoconnectthroughaWi-Fiextender,pleasecheckyourextendersettings.
YouwillneedtodisableAPisolationonyourWi-FiextenderbeforesettingupLaMetrictowork
withyourWi-Finetwork.
●IftherewasanincorrecttimeonyourLaMetric,atfirst,youshouldtryrestartingit.
TapGotitonascreenthatappearsandrestartyourdevice-turnoff,thenturnon.Ifitdoesnot
help,tryresettingit.Read5.6.Resettingtofactorydefaults
toknowhowtomakeit.
