INTRODUCTION
May we take this opportunity to thank you for the interest you have shown in the VAPOLUX by LANAFORM ®. This
humidifier uses a high-frequency oscillator to produce ultrasonic waves and break up the water into minute droplets
having a diameter of approximately 1 to 5 μm.
The ventilation system diffuses water in the form of a cold vapour and thus ensures the desired level of humidity. This
vapour may be seen as a fine mist issuing from the diffuser.
PLEASE READ THE INSTRUCTIONS FULLY BEFORE USING YOUR HUMIDIFIER, ESPECIALLY THESE BRIEF,
FUNDAMENTAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
• Check that the mains power supply voltage corresponds to that shown on the unit.
• This unit is not intended to be used by any persons, including children, with reduced physical, sensorial or mental
capacities, or by persons lacking experience or knowledge unless they have been provided, by a person in charge of
safety, with supervision or prior instructions concerning the use of the unit. Children should be supervised to ensure
that they do not play with the unit.
• Do not connect or disconnect the plug if your hands are wet.
• Never operate the unit with a damaged cable or plug, or after any damage or failure has occurred. In these cases, return
the unit to the nearest, approved supplier/repair shop for inspection, repair or adjustment as the case may be.
• Never add any substances to the reservoir except demineralised tap water or distilled water.
• Never dismantle the base unit.
• Never switch on the humidifier when there is no water in the tank.
• Do not shake the unit. This may cause the water to overflow inside the base unit and prevent it from operating
correctly.
• Never touch the water or immersed components when the unit is operating.
• To avoid any damage to components, never allow any water to splash inside the base unit.
• If any unusual smell is detected during normal use, switch off the unit, disconnect it and have it checked by a qualified
person.
• Disconnect the unit before cleaning or removing the water reservoir.
• Never wash the whole unit in water and do not immerse it.
• The ultrasonic humidifier must be cleaned regularly. To do this, refer to the cleaning instructions in this manual and
observe them fully.
• Do not leave the humidifier in the sun for long periods.
• Do not use the humidifier if the air in the room is already sufficiently humid (at least 50% relative humidity). In
effect, the ideal human comfort level of relative humidity is between 45 and 60%. Excess humidity is indicated by
condensation on cold surfaces or cold walls in the room. To determine the relative humidity of the room correctly, use a
hygrometer available in most large stores and equipment dealers.

INSTALLATION OF THE DEMINERALISATION FILTER
• Place the demineratlisation cartridge in the space located in the base of the unit as explained in
the diagram of figures 1 and 2.
• Replace the reservoir and wait a few minutes before starting the unit so that the water is
filtered.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
• Place the unit in the room half an hour before turning it on, so that it may take the surrounding temperature.
• It is recommended to use the unit in a temperature located between 5°C and 40°C and with a relative humidity of less
than 50 % RH.
• Remove the reservoir from the unit; unscrew the plug by swivelling it counterclockwise.
• Fill the reservoir with clear water at 40°C maximum. Check that the silicone washer is in place, and then close the cover
by turning it clockwise.
• Make sure it is clean and waterproof then place the reservoir delicately on the base unit.
• With dry hands, plug in the unit.

humidity reaches the preadjusted level, the unit stops emitting steam after a few minutes.

Constant Steam « (240-290ML/H) and finally to position 3 «Light Constant Steam» (120-180 ML/H).
• Timer function
The unit can work continuously for 20 hours. However, you can determine the use life of the unit. Press repeatedly on

time is over, the unit turns off automatically.
Attention: ALTHOUGH THE UNIT IS FITTED WITH SAFETY MECHANISMS THAT CUT OFF TRANSDUCER
OPERATION, TURN THE UNIT OFF WHENEVER POSSIBLE.

MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE:
If the water is hard, that is to say it contains too much calcium or magnesium, it may deposit a “white powder” inside the
unit and cause a heavy scale on the surface of the reservoir, on the transducer (metallic button producing the ultrasound)
and on the internal walls of the water reservoir. The presence of any scale on the surface of the transducer will greatly
reduce mist production.
We strongly advise you to:
1) Clean the reservoir every 3 days, and to clean the transducer every week;
2) Change the water in the reservoir every two days so that it remains fresh.
3) Clean the unit completely to avoid any risk of bacteria and check that it has completely dried when it is not being used.
4) Clean regularly the filter.
To clean the transducer:
1) Place 2 to 5 drops of vinegar on the surface and leave for 2 to 5 minutes.
2) Brush away any deposit from the surface using a soft brush. Do not use a hard tool to scrape the surface.
3) Rinse the transducer with clean water.
4) Do not use soap or any other alkaline substances to clean the transducer.
To clean the reservoir:
1) Clean the reservoir using a soft cloth, together with some vinegar if there is any scale or calcium deposits inside;
2) If the scale covers the safety switch, place a few drops of vinegar on it and clean it with a soft brush;
3) Rinse out the reservoir with fresh water.
Storage:
1) Clean and dry the ultrasonic humidifier carefully.
2) Allow it to dry completely before putting the unit away. Do not store the unit with water still remaining in the base
unit.
3) Store the unit in a cool, dry place, out of the reach of children.
FAULTS AND CORRECTIVE ACTIONS
Should a fault occur during normal use, please consult the table below:

All implicit guarantees covering product suitability are limited to a period of two years from the date of initial purchase.
On reception, LANAFORM® will, as it deems fit, repair or replace your ultrasonic humidifier and will return it to you
carriage paid. This guarantee is only valid through the LANAFORM® Service Centre. In the event that this unit is repaired
by any person other than the LANAFORM® Service Centre, the guarantee is null and void.

Nous vous remercions de l’intérêt que vous portez au VAPOLUX de LANAFORM®. Cet humidificateur utilise un oscillateur à
hautes fréquences produisant des ultrasons afin de diviser l’eau en minuscules particules d’un diamètre de l’ordre de 1 à
5 μm.
Le système de ventilation diffuse l’eau sous forme de vapeur froide et fournit ainsi l’humidité souhaitée. Cette vapeur est
caractérisée par un léger brouillard sortant par le diffuseur.

QUELQUES CONSIGNES DE SECURITE FONDAMENTALES:
• Vérifiez que le voltage de votre réseau correspond à celui de l’appareil.
• Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé par des personnes (y compris les enfants) dont les capacités physiques,
sensorielles ou mentales sont réduites, ou des personnes dénuées d’expérience ou de connaissance, sauf si elles ont

• L’humidificateur à ultrasons doit être nettoyé régulièrement. Pour ce faire, reportez-vous aux consignes de nettoyage du

• Ne laissez pas l’humidificateur au soleil durant une longue période.
• N’utilisez pas l’humidificateur si l’air de la pièce est déjà suffisamment humide (au moins 50% d’hygrométrie relative).
En effet, le taux d’humidité relative idéal pour le confort des être humains se situe entre 45% et 60%. Un excès
d’humidité se manifeste par de la condensation sur les surfaces froides ou les murs froids de la pièce. Pour déterminer
correctement le taux d’humidité de la pièce, utilisez un hygromètre disponible dans la plupart des magasins spécialisés
et en grandes surfaces.

INSTALLATION DU FILTRE DE DÉMINÉRALISATION

INSTRUCTIONS D’INSTALLATION
• Placez l’appareil dans la pièce une demi-heure avant de l’allumer, pour qu’il prenne la température ambiante.
• Il est conseillé d’utiliser l’appareil à une température située entre 5°C et 40°C et dans une hygrométrie relative inférieure
à 50% RH.
• Retirez le réservoir à eau de l’appareil, dévissez le bouchon en le faisant pivoter dans le sens contraire des aiguilles d’une
montre.
• Remplissez le réservoir d’eau claire à 40°C maximum. Vérifiez que la rondelle de silicone est bien en place, puis fermez le
couvercle en le faisant pivoter dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre.
• Assurez-vous de sa propreté et de son étanchéité puis posez délicatement le réservoir sur l’unité de base.
• Avec des mains sèches, branchez la fiche.
• Appuyez sur le bouton

370ML/H) au stade 2 « vapeur constante moyenne » (240-290ML/H) et enfin au stade 3 « Vapeur constante faible »

durée d’utilisation souhaitée (2h, 4h, 8h ou 12h). Une fois la durée écoulée, l’appareil s’éteint automatiquement.
Attention: MALGRÉ LE DISPOSITIF DE SÉCURITÉ QUI INTERROMPT LE FONCTIONNEMENT DU
TRANSDUCTEUR, EVITEZ, TANT QUE POSSIBLE, DE LAISSER L’APPAREIL SOUS TENSION LORSQU’IL N’EST
PAS UTILISE.
ENTRETIEN ET RANGEMENT:
Si l’eau est dure, c’est-à-dire si elle contient trop de calcium et de magnésium, elle peut déposer une «poudre blanche»
dans l’appareil et provoquer une lourde écume à la surface du bassin, sur le transducteur (pastille métallique produisant
les ultrasons) et sur les parois intérieures du réservoir d’eau. De l’écume à la surface du transducteur diminuera fortement
la diffusion de vapeur.
Nous conseillons :
1) De nettoyer le réservoir tous les 3 jours et le transducteur toutes les semaines,
2) De changer l’eau du réservoir tous les deux jours pour qu’elle reste fraîche.
3) De nettoyer tout l’appareil afin d’éviter tout risque de bactérie et de s’assurer que toutes ses pièces sont parfaitement
sèches lorsqu’il n’est pas en service.
4) De nettoyer régulièrement le filtre.
Pour nettoyer le transducteur :
1) Déposez 2 à 5 gouttes de vinaigre sur sa surface et laissez reposer de 2 à 5 minutes.
2) Brossez l’écume de la surface à l’aide d’une brosse douce. N’employez pas d’outil dur pour gratter la surface.
3) Rincez le transducteur à l’eau claire.
4) N’employez pas de savon ou d’autres substances basiques pour nettoyer le transducteur.
Pour nettoyer l’unité du bassin :
1) Nettoyez le bassin à l’eau, à l’aide d’un chiffon doux, et au vinaigre s’il y a de l’écume ou des dépôts calcaires à
l’intérieur.
2) Si l’écume recouvre l’interrupteur de sécurité, déposez-y quelques gouttes de vinaigre et nettoyez-le à la brosse douce.
3) Rincez le bassin à l’eau claire.
Pour nettoyer le filtre
1) La performance de déminéralisation et la longévité de votre filtre dépend de la teneur en minéraux de votre eau.
2) Veuillez envisager de rincez le filtre à l’eau claire tous les 2 jours.
Rangement :
1) Nettoyez et séchez l’humidificateur soigneusement.
2) Laissez-le sécher complètement avant de le ranger. Ne le rangez pas en laissant de l’eau dans la base.
3) Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit sec et frais, hors de portée des enfants.

INLEIDING
Wij maken graag van deze gelegenheid gebruik om u te bedanken voor uw interesse in de VAPOLUX van LANAFORM ®.
Deze luchtbevochtiger gebruikt een oscillator met hoge frequentie om ultrasone golven te creëren en het water onder te
verdelen in kleine druppeltjes met een diameter van ongeveer 1 tot 5 μm.
Het ventilatiesysteem verspreidt het water onder de vorm van koude stoom en garandeert op die manier de gewenste
luchtvochtigheidsgraad. Deze stoom kan gezien worden als een fijne nevel die uit de verspreider komt.
LEES DEZE INSTRUCTIES AANDACHTIG DOOR VOORDAT U DE LUCHTBEVOCHTIGER GEBRUIKT, MET NAME
DEZE KORTE, UITERMATE BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSINSTRUCTIES:
• Controleer of de netspanning overeenkomt met de spanning die wordt weergegeven op het toestel.
• Dit toestel is niet bestemd voor gebruik door personen, inclusief kinderen, met verminderde fysieke, sensorische of
mentale capaciteiten, of door personen zonder ervaring of kennis tenzij zij onder toezicht staan van een iemand die
verantwoordelijk is voor hun veiligheid of zij vooraf instructies hebben gekregen betreffende het gebruik van het
toestel. Kinderen moeten onder toezicht staan om ervoor te zorgen dat ze niet met het toestel spelen.
• Steek de stekker niet in en haal deze nooit uit het stopcontact met natte handen.
• Gebruik de bevochtiger nooit met een beschadigd snoer of een beschadigde stekker, of na een beschadiging of storing.
Breng het toestel in deze gevallen terug naar het dichtstbijzijnde erkende leverancier/herstellingsdienst voor inspectie,
reparatie of bijstelling.
• Voeg alleen gedemineraliseerd leidingwater of gedestilleerd water aan het reservoir toe en geen andere substanties.
• Demonteer het basistoestel nooit.
• Zet de bevochtiger nooit aan als er geen water in de tank zit.
• Schud het toestel niet. Hierdoor kan het water in het basistoestel terechtkomen waardoor het mogelijk is dat het toestel
niet goed meer functioneert.
• Raak het water of de ondergedompelde onderdelen nooit aan wanneer het toestel in werking is.
• Om schade aan de onderdelen te voorkomen moet u ervoor zorgen dat er nooit water in het basistoestel spat.
• Als u tijdens normaal gebruik een ongewone geur bespeurt, zet het toestel dan uit, haal de stekker uit het stopcontact
en laat het toestel nakijken door een bevoegd persoon.
• Haal de stekker uit het stopcontact voordat u het waterreservoir schoonmaakt of verwijdert.
• Maak nooit het hele toestel schoon in water en dompel het niet onder.
• De ultrasone luchtbevochtiger moet regelmatig schoongemaakt worden. Raadpleeg hiervoor de schoonmaakinstructies
in deze handleiding en volg deze nauwkeurig op.
• Laat de bevochtiger niet lang in de zon staan.
• Gebruik de bevochtiger niet als de lucht in de ruimte al vochtig genoeg is (ten minste 50% relatieve vochtigheid). Het
ideale comfortniveau van relatieve vochtigheid voor mensen ligt tussen 45 en 60%. Bij een teveel aan vochtigheid
ontstaat er condensatie op koude oppervlakken of muren in de ruimte. Gebruik een hygrometer om de relatieve
vochtigheid in de ruimte precies vast te stellen, deze zijn verkrijgbaar in de meeste grote winkels en doe-het-zelfzaken.

INSTALLATIE VAN DE DEMINERALISATIEFILTER
• Plaats de demineralisatiepatroon in de ruimte in de basis van het toestel zoals uitgelegd in het
diagram van afbeeldingen 1 en 2.
• Vervang het reservoir en wacht een aantal minuten voordat u het toestel aanzet zodat het
water gefilterd wordt.

INSTALLATIE-INSTRUCTIES
• Zet het toestel een half uur voor gebruik in de ruimte zodat het zich kan aanpassen aan de omgevingstemperatuur.
• Het wordt aanbevolen het toestel te gebruiken bij een temperatuur tussen 5°C en 40°C met een relatieve vochtigheid
van minder dan 50 %.
• Haal het reservoir uit het toestel; draai de dop los door deze tegen de wijzers van de klok in te draaien.
• Vul het reservoir met schoon water van maximaal 40°C. Controleer dat het sluitringetje van silicone op zijn plaats zit en
sluit vervolgens het deksel door het met de wijzers van de klok mee te draaien.
• Zorg ervoor dat het schoon en waterdicht is en plaats het reservoir dan voorzichtig op het basistoestel.
• Steek de stekker van het toestel in het stopcontact met droge handen.

stellen (2 uur, 4 uur, 8 uur of 12 uur). Zodra de ingestelde tijd voorbij is, wordt het toestel automatisch uitgeschakeld.
Opgelet: HOEWEL HET TOESTEL IS UITGERUST MET VEILIGHEIDSMECHANISMEN DIE DE WERKING VAN DE
OMVORMER STOPZETTEN, DIENT U HET STEEDS UIT TE ZETTEN INDIEN MOGELIJK.
ONDERHOUD EN OPSLAG:
Als het water hard is, d.w.z. als het te veel calcium of magnesium bevat, kan het een “wit poeder” achterlaten in het
toestel en een zware kalkaanslag veroorzaken op het oppervlak van het reservoir, op de omvormer (metalen knop die het
ultrasone geluid voortbrengt) en op de binnenwanden van het waterreservoir. De aanwezigheid van kalkaanslag op de
oppervlakte van de omvormer zal de mistproductie aanzienlijk verminderen.
Wij raden u sterk aan om:
1) Het reservoir om de drie dagen en de omvormer elke week schoon te maken.
2) Het water in het reservoir om de twee dagen te verversen zodat het schoon blijft.
3) Het toestel helemaal schoon te maken om het risico op bacteriën te verkleinen en te controleren dat het helemaal
droog is wanneer het niet gebruikt wordt.
4) De filter regelmatig schoon te maken.
De omvormer schoonmaken:
1) Plaats twee tot vijf druppels azijn op de oppervlakte en laat deze twee tot vijf minuten inwerken.
2) Wrijf afzettingen van het oppervlak met een zachte borstel. Gebruik geen harde voorwerpen om over het oppervlak te
schrapen.
3) Spoel de omvormer af met schoon water.
4) Gebruik geen zeep of andere alkalische middelen om de omvormer schoon te maken.
Het reservoir schoonmaken:
1) Maak het reservoir schoon met een zachte doek en met een beetje azijn als er binnenin kalkaanslag aanwezig is.
2) Als er kalkaanslag op de veiligheidsschakelaar zit, plaats er dan een paar druppels azijn op en maak hem schoon met
een zachte borstel.
3) Spoel het reservoir uit met schoon water.
Opslag:
1) Maak de ultrasone luchtbevochtiger zorgvuldig schoon en droog.
2) Zorg ervoor dat het toestel helemaal droog is voordat u het opbergt. Berg het toestel niet op als er nog water in het
basistoestel zit.
3) Bewaar het toestel op een koele, droge plaats en buiten bereik van kinderen.

LANAFORM® is niet aansprakelijk voor gevolgschade, accidentele of speciale schade.
Alle impliciete garanties die productgeschiktheid dekken, zijn beperkt tot een periode van twee jaar na de

Na ontvangst zal LANAFORM®, indien het dit gepast acht, uw ultrasone luchtbevochtiger repareren of vervangen en deze
