Introduction
Decide on a suitable location for your ClassBuddy™ Wall to be mounted.
The unit must be fixed to a solid wall or directly to studs, if the unit is being
fitted to a non-solid wall. The use of hollow wall or plaster board type
fixings are not recommended. Allow space above and below the wall unit
for ventilation.
Ensure that you check the wall prior to any drilling and fixing for electrical
cables or other services that may be in the wall/void. Make sure the the
unit is at an acceptable user height.
Select suitable fixings for the wall that you are fixing to and ensure that
you use a minimum of 8 of the possible 16 fixing positions available.
(Ensuring as even distribution as possible).
IMPORTANT Two persons are required to carry out the installation.
Tools required
• Power or battery type drill (hammer required for solid walls)
• Drill-bit to suit your fixing type (refer to manufacturer’s instructions)
• Pencil/Pen (to mark hole positions)
• Spirit level
• Hammer
• Screwdriver/Power Driver
• Vacuum cleaner

Step 1: Stand Up
Once unpacked, stand the unit up and ensure you have a clear working
space around all sides.
