WARRANTY
LARZEP,S.A. guarantees its products against all design and manufacturing defects for two years fromthe date of
purchase.Thisguaranteedoesnotincludetheordinarywearofbothmetal and non‐metalparts,abuse,usingthe
equipmentbeyonditsratedcapacityandanywearordamageincurredasaresultofusingahydraulicfluidwhichis
notrecommendedbyLARZEP,S.A.
Pleasenotethatiftheequipmentisdisassembledorservicedbyanyoneotherthananauthorizedservicedealeror
byLARZEP,S.A.,thisguaranteeisrenderednullandvoid.
Intheeventofawarrantyclaim,returntheequipmenttoLARZEP,S.A.ortheauthorizeddealerwhichsoldyouthe
hydraulic equipment. LARZEP, S.A. will repair or replace the faulty equipment, whichever is deemed most
appropriate. LARZEP,S.A. shall not be held liable for any consequential damages or losses, which may occur as a
resultoffaultyequipment.


BEFOREUSINGTHEEQUIPMENTANDESSENTIALSAFETYREQUIREMENTS
Hydraulic test pumps WAP0025, WAP0045, WAP0050 and WAP0100 are specifically designed for testing the
tightnessofboilers,pipeworks,pressurereservoirs,etc.,thatareunderpressureduringnormaloperations.
Allpumpsaretestedindividually,aretoughandveryrobustandthereforeverysafe.
Nevertightenorloosenconnectionswhiletheyareunderpressure.
Donotpressurizethepumpwithoutbeingconnectedtoanitemtobepressurizedunlessablankingplugisfittedto
theoutletport.
UsePTFE(Teflon)tapeorinliquidorfilletspasteonallthreadstopreventanyleakage.
Connectoneendofthehosetothepumpandtheotherendtothesystemorequipmenttotest(pipe,tank,valve,
etc.),payingattentiontothe"hydraulicseal".
Useonlytubeandfittingssuitableforthemaximumworkingpressureofthepumpunit.

ASSEMBLYANDOPERATINGINSTRUCTIONS
Thecomponentsareshippedunassembledtopreventbreakageorunnecessarybulkduringtransportorthestockage
inwarehouse.


The pump is provided with pressure gauge, coil and double control valve. On demand, we can provide a delivery
flexiblehose,designedtowithstandthepressurerating.
Assemblethedeviceinaccordancewiththenextprocedure,firstcheckingthatyouhaveallthenecessarymaterial.
UsePTFEtapeonallthreads.
Beforestartinganyoperation,cleanthetanktoeliminateanyresidueorwaste.
1. Screwsuctionpipeintothebaseofthepump.
2. Assemblythepumponthebridgeofthetank.
3. Screwinthevalveunit,ensuringtheconnectionholeforthegaugetubeisoppositetheoutletandisvertical.
4. Screwthegaugetubeandmountthegauge.Inordertofavourtheimmediatereadingduringthetest,point
thepressuregaugeinthedirectionoftheoperator.Remembertoapplynecessarysealstoallcomponents.
5. Checkthatallconnectionsaretightenedandconnectthepumptothetankusingthesuppliedscrews.
6. Fillupthetankandensurethesuctiontubeiscompletelysubmerged.Useanticorrosive,antioxidantfluidora
mixtureofwaterandemulsifiableoilinordertopreventoxideformationinsidethemachine.
7. Connectthehose.
8. Connectthepumptothesystemorequipment.
9. Before operating the pump always make sure pipe connections are clean and fully tightened up; all
accessorieshavebeenfittedcorrectly:suctiontubewithnutandfilter,pressuregaugeanddeliveryhosefor
highpressure(notincluded).Alwaysuseprotectivegoggles,shoesandgloves.
10. Pre‐fillthesystemorequipmentbeforestartingthetestwiththesameliquidthatwillbeusedfortesting.
11. To start the test, close the discharge valve (left) and open the flow‐valve (right) manually. There are two
handwheelsonthecontrolvalveblockforthesetwovalves.
12. Nowpumpusingthedrivelever.Thepumpwillcomeintooperationtakingthefluidfromthetankbelowand
sendingittothesystemorequipmenttobetested.
13. Continuepumpingtoincreasethepressureonthesystem.
14. Checkthepressureshowninthegaugeanddonotexceedthemaximumpressure.
15. Once reached the required pressure, close the flow‐valve, handwheel on the right, to maintain the same
pressurevalueintheelementunderpressure.Makesuretherearenoleaks.
16. Tofinishtheoperation,openbothvalvesandsurplusliquidwillrunbackintothetankviathedrainholeinthe
valvecontrolblock.
17. Toperformanothertest,followtheinstructionsfromthebeginning.
18. Replacethesealsatleasteverytwoyears.
19. Ifantioxidant additivesare not used, is recommended to emptythetankeverytimeisplannedaperiodof
inactivity.

Thepumpmustalwaysbehandledandrepairedbyqualifiedpersonnel.
Ensurethatalltheequipmentandaccessoriesaresuitable
forthemaximumworkingpressure.


