WARRANTY
LARZEP, S.A. guarantees its products against all design and anufacturing defects for two years fro the date of
purchase. This guarantee does not include the ordinary wear of both etal and non- etal parts, abuse, using the
equip ent beyond its rated capacity and any wear or da age incurred as a result of using a hydraulic fluid which is
not reco ended by LARZEP, S.A.
Please note that if the equip ent is disasse bled or serviced by anyone other than an authorized service dealer or
by LARZEP, S.A., this guarantee is rendered null and void.
In the event of a warranty clai , return the equip ent to LARZEP, S.A. or the authorized dealer which sold you the
hydraulic equip ent. LARZEP, S.A. will repair or replace the faulty equip ent, whichever is dee ed ost
appropriate. LARZEP, S.A. shall not be held liable for any consequential da ages or losses, which ay occur as a
result of faulty equip ent.
BEFORE USING THE EQUIPMENT AND ESSENTIAL SAFETY REQUIREMENTS
- Hydraulic test pu ps WAP0070 is designed for testing the tightness of boilers, pipework, pressure reservoirs,…
that are under pressure during standard operations.
- All pu ps are tested individually.
- Read the instruction anual carefully and practise using the equip ent before application.
- Always use protective goggles, safety shoes and protective gloves.
- The pu p body is supplied fitted to the tank by screws. The pu p is supplied with a suction pipe (3/8”) in the
lower part and with a stainless steel filter to prevent entering solid parts or i purity.
- Asse bly all co ponents. Pressure gauge and coil are supplied. Make sure that all parts are properly tightened.
- Use PTFE (Teflon) tape or in liquid or fillets paste on all threads to prevent any leakage.
- Do not odify the device (welded parts, lengthening drive levers, etc.).
- Avoid dangerous environ ent influences (i.e. infla able fluids or gases).
- Place the equip ent on a flat and solid area with adequate lighting.
- Never exceed the axi u working pressure of the pu p. Ensure that all the equip ent and accessories are
suitable for the axi u working pressure.
- In all cases, the operator should have received adequate training regarding the handling of the device and logical
safety criteria.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Place the equip ent on a flat and solid area.
2. Make sure that all parts are properly tightened and sealed. If necessary, re-seal the threads.
3. Check the unit for da age. Replace any da age part i ediately.
4. Fill up the tank and ensure the suction tube is co pletely sub erged. Use anticorrosive, antioxidant fluid or a
ixture of water and e ulsifiable oil in order to prevent oxide for ation inside the achine. If possible, fill the
syste with a otor pu p.
5. Connect the tank to the equip ent to test with a hose.
6. Never tighten or loosen connections while they are under pressure.
7. Do not pressurize the pu p without being connected to an ite to be pressurized unless a blanking plug is fitted
to the outlet port.
8. Before starting operation, check that the installation is correct, the operator position is safe and the working zone
is out of bounds to all personnel.
9. Check that the piston is lubricated and the red handwheel is tightened.
10. Start pu ping auctioning the lever.
11. The pressure gauge will start oving after so e cycles.
12. Once the desired pressure is reached, check if the test has a successful outco e.
13. When finishing the test, open the red handwheel to re ove the pressure fro the syste . The fluid will flow
through a drain hole under the tap to the tank.
MAINTENACE
- Regularly grease the pu p piston and clean the intake filter and the valve.
- Regularly check unit and hose for da ages.
- Use only original spare parts. All repair and aintenance works ust be perfor ed only by specialist personnel or
by people fa iliar with the pu p.
- If the pu p will be during a long period of ti e without any activity, lubricate the piston and the internal parts of
the pu p inserting an oiler fro the outlet union.
- If you decide not to use ore the pu p, don't let unauthorized people use the unit.
The pump must always be han le an repaire by qualifie personnel.
Never excee the maximum working pressure of the pump.
