WARRANTY
LARZEP, S.A. guarantees its products against all design and manufacturing defects for two years from the date of
purchase. This guarantee does not include the ordinary wear of both metal and non-metal parts, abuse, using the
equipment beyond its rated capacity and any wear or damage incurred as a result of using a hydraulic fluid which is
not recommended by LARZEP, S.A.
Please note that if the equipment is disassembled or serviced by anyone other than an authorized service dealer or
by LARZEP, S.A., this guarantee is rendered null and void.
In the event of a warranty claim, return the equipment to LARZEP, S.A. or the authorized dealer which sold you the
hydraulic equipment. LARZEP, S.A. will repair or replace the faulty equipment, whichever is deemed most
appropriate. LARZEP, S.A. shall not be held liable for any consequential damages or losses, which may occur as a
result of faulty equipment.
BEFORE USING THE E UIPMENT AND ESSENTIAL SAFETY RE UIREMENTS
- Hydraulic test pumps WAP0035 is specifically designed for testing the tightness of boilers, pipeworks, pressure
reservoirs, etc., that are under pressure during normal operations.
- All pumps are tested individually.
- Read the instruction manual carefully and practice using the equipment before application.
- Always use protective goggles, safety shoes and protective gloves.
- Use PTFE (Teflon) tape or in liquid or fillets paste on all threads to prevent any leakage.
- Do not modify the device (welded parts, lengthening drive levers, etc.).
- Avoid dangerous environment influences (i.e. inflammable fluids or gases).
- Place the equipment on a flat and solid area with adequate lighting.
- Never exceed the maximum working pressure of the pump. Ensure that all the equipment and accessories are
suitable for the maximum working pressure.
- Never tighten or loosen connections while they are under pressure.
- Do not pressurize the pump without being connected to an item to be pressurized unless a blanking plug is fitted
to the outlet port.
- In all cases, the operator should have received adequate training regarding the handling of the device and logical
safety criteria.

ASSEMBLY AND OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The components are shipped unassembled to prevent breakage or unnecessary bulk during transport or the stockage
in warehouse.
On demand, we can provide a delivery flexible hose, designed to withstand the pressure rating.
Assemble the device in accordance with the next procedure, first checking that you have all the necessary material.
Use PTFE tape on all threads.
1. Screw suction pipe into the base of the pump.
2. Assembly the pump on the bridge of the tank.
3. Screw in the valve unit, ensuring the connection hole for the gauge tube is opposite the outlet and is vertical.
4. Screw the gauge tube and mount the gauge. In order to favour the immediate reading during the test, point
the pressure gauge in the direction of the operator. Remember to apply necessary seals to all components.
5. Check that all connections are tightened.
6. Fill up the tank and ensure the suction tube is completely submerged. Use anticorrosive, antioxidant fluid or a
mixture of water and emulsifiable oil in order to prevent oxide formation inside the machine.
. Connect the pump to the system or equipment with a hose.
8. Before operating the pump always make sure pipe connections are clean and fully tightened up; all
accessories have been fitted correctly: suction tube with nut and filter, pressure gauge and delivery hose for
high pressure (not included). Always use protective goggles and gloves.
9. Pre-fill the system or equipment before starting the test with the same liquid that will be used for testing.
10. To start the test, close the red valve manually. Check that the handwheel is tightened and the piston is lubricated..
11. Now pump using the drive lever. The pump will come into operation taking the fluid from the tank below and
sending it to the system or equipment to be tested.
12. Continue pumping to increase the pressure on the system.
13. Check the pressure shown in the gauge and do not exceed the maximum pressure.
14. Once the desired pressure is reached, check if the test has a successful outcome.
15. When finishing the test, open the red handwheel to remove the pressure from the system. The fluid will flow
through a drain hole under the tap to the tank.
MAINTENACE
- Regularly grease the pump piston and clean the intake filter and the valve.
- Regularly check unit and hose for damages.
- Use only original spare parts. All repair and maintenance works must be performed only by specialist personnel or
by people familiar with the pump.
- If the pump will be during a long period of time without any activity, lubricate the piston and the internal parts of
the pump inserting an oiler from the outlet union.
- If you decide not to use more the pump, don't let unauthorized people use the unit.
The pump must always be handled and repaired by qualified personnel.
Ensure that all the equipment and accessories are suitable
for the maximum working pressure.
