
Quick Start Guide
Powering on for the first �me:
1. Connect power supply.
2. Red light indicates device is powered on.
3. Device boots within 15 seconds.
Default Log-In Informa�on
Note:The CTM5 controller implements a 'fallback' IP address of 169.254.1.1. This IP address is always available to use to
connect to the device regardless ofthe conuraon ofthe network interface in the GUI. Connecng this fallback IP address is
the recommended method to use when conuring the CTM5 Controller for the rst me.
Conure a computer/laptoponthe same 169.254.1.0/24 network, use 169.254.1.2 for example.
Connect an Ethernet cable directly from the computer/laptop to the CTM5 -Controller's Ethernet port.
Using a web browser onthe computer/laptop, navigateto the CTM5 Controlle r web interface at 169.254.1.1.
Sign in with the username/password listed above.
Changing the Controller's password:
Select the 'System' tab, then the 'Administraon' sub-tab.
Enter new password twice, scroll to bmof page and click "Save & Apply" bun.
Configuring the network interface IP address:
Select the 'Network' tab. On the 'Interfaces' sub-tab, click the 'Edit' bunon the 'Acons' secon on the right.
A new 'LAN' sub-tab will appear, and a separate Conuraon area.
Note:The CTM5 Controller ships with its network interface conured in DHCP client mode. To change to a stac IP address,
select 'Stac Address' from the 'Protocol' drop-down box. Click the 'Switch Protocol' bun. Enter appropriate IPv4
informaon and click 'Save & Apply' bun when ished.
