Lastolite Cubelite User manual

1. Remove items from the box. You should have:
- Bag containing the Light Table (flat)
- 4 x Black support rods
- Circular acrylic sheet
- Roll of translucent film
- Tungsten light head
- Mains lead for the light head
- Reflector for the light head
- 500w bulb
- Backlight stand and riser
Remove the Light Table from the protective bag.
2. Lay the Light Table on the floor and position the end of
one of the rods on the corner of the lower steel rim.
Ensure the steel rim locates into the jaws of the tip at
the end of the rod.
3. Pull the two steel rims away from each other and locate
the jaws of the tip at the other end of the rod into the
upper rim.
4. Repeat steps 2&3 for the remaining three corners.
When all four rods are in place, check they are all in a
vertical position.
5. Place the circular acrylic sheet on the top of the Light
Table structure. (Take care not to drop this sheet as it
will break).
6. The Light table is now complete.
7. Place your Cubelite on top of the Light Table and set
up the internal silver/white reflector and the external
tungsten light (which came as part of your Cubelite kit)
as per the seperate Cubelite kit instructions. Instead of
attaching the white vinyl background that came with
the Cubelite kit, attach the translucent film that came
with the Light Table kit. This will allow the light from the
Cubelite Light Table to shine through.
8. Assemble the Tungsten light head, which came with
the Light Table kit in the same way as the light
head that came as part of the Cubelite kit.
9. Rotate the three legs of the floor stand so that they
‘fan’ out to an equal distance apart.
10. Slot the riser into the stand and tighten the thumb
screw. The riser can be extended (if required) by
releasing the thumb screw on the riser, extending the
tube, then re-tightening the thumb screw.
11. Attach the light head to the top of the stand/riser and
secure using the thumb screw. You must remove the
plastic protector cap from the top of the riser first.
12. Position the tungsten light head at the base of the rear
opening of the Light Table. The light can be pointed
downwards (using the riser) or upwards (without riser).
Refer to the label near the rear opening of the Light
Table for advice on how to position the light.
13. Your Cubelite Light Table is ready to use.
Breaking Down your Cubelite Light Table kit.
14. Remove the translucent film, roll it up and return it to
the protective tube.
15. Remove the Cubelite from the top of the Light Table
and pack it away as per the instructions that came with
the Cubelite kit.
16. Allow the lights to cool until it is safe to touch them.
Remove from the stands and store them as required.
17. Close up the stands to their smallest size.
18. Remove the circular acrylic sheet from the top of the
Light Table and return it to the protective bag.
19. Remove the supporting rods from the Light Table and
allow the two steel rims to lie on top of each other.
Return them to the protective bag.
20. Return all the items to the storage box.

Setting up your Cubelite Light Table Kit
Montaje del Kit Cubelite para la mesa de iluminación
1. Retirar los componentes de la caja. En el volumen suministrado
deben estar incluidos los siguientes componentes:

- Pantalla de acrílico redonda

Retirar la mesa de iluminación de la bolsa de protección.
2. Colocar la mesa de iluminación en el suelo y pasar el extremo de una
de las barras por la esquina del aro de acero inferior. Asegurarse que
el aro de acero encaje en los ganchos de la punta en el extremo de la
barra.
3. Estirar ambos aros de acero en la dirección contraria y llevar los
ganchos de la punta en el otro extremo de la barra hasta el aro
superior.
4. Repetir los pasos 2 & 3 para las otras tres esquinas. Una vez montadas
las cuatro barras, controlar si se encuentran en posición vertical.
5. Colocar la pantalla de acrílico redonda sobre la mesa de iluminación.
(No dejar caer esta pantalla, de lo contrario se romperá.)
6. Ahora la mesa de iluminación está completa.
7. Colocar el Cubelite sobre la mesa de iluminación y montar el reflector
interno plata / blanco y la lámpara externa Wolfram (suministrada con el
Kit Cubelite) según las instrucciones de uso separadas del Kit Cubelite.
Colocar el film transparente suministrado con la mesa de iluminación, en
vez del fondo de vinilo blanco suministrado con el Kit Cubelite. De esa
forma la luz de la mesa de iluminación Cubelite creará un fondo
translúcido.
8. Montar el cabezal de la lámpara Wolfram, suministrado con la mesa de
iluminación, de la misma manera que el cabezal de la lámpara incluido
en el volumen suministrado del Kit Cubelite.
9. Girar las tres patas del trípode de suelo de forma que se extiendan a
una distancia uniforme "en abanico".
10. Insertar la pieza intermedia en el trípode y ajustar el tornillo de mariposa.
La pieza intermedia se puede alargar (en caso necesario) aflojando el
tornillo de mariposa de la pieza intermedia, extrayendo el tubo y
reapretando el tornillo de mariposa.
11. Fijar el cabezal de la lámpara arriba en el trípode / pieza intermedia y
asegurarlo con el tornillo de mariposa. Primero se debe retirar la capa
protectora plástica en la parte superior de la pieza intermedia.
12. Fijar el cabezal de la lámpara Wolfram en la base de la abertura trasera
de la mesa de iluminación. La lámpara se puede direccionar (mediante
la pieza intermedia) hacia abajo o arriba. En la etiqueta al lado de la
abertura trasera de la mesa de iluminación encontrará instrucciones
sobre el posicionamiento de la lámpara.
13. Ahora la mesa de iluminación Cubelite está lista para ser utilizada.
Desmontaje del Kit Cubelite para la mesa de iluminación
14. Retirar el film transparente, enrollarlo y colocarlo nuevamente en el rollo
de protección.
15. Retirar el Cubelite de la superficie de la mesa y embalarlo de acuerdo
con las instrucciones de uso suministradas con el Cubelite Kit.
16. Dejar enfriar las lámparas hasta que se las pueda tocar sin peligro de
lesiones. Retirar las lámparas de los trípodes y guardarlas de forma
adecuada.
17. Plegar completamente los trípodes.
18. Retirar la pantalla de acrílico redonda de la mesa de iluminación y
colocarla nuevamente en la bolsa de protección.
19. Retirar las barras de soporte de la mesa de iluminación. Colocar ambos
aros de acero uno sobre el otro y luego ponerlos en la bolsa de
protección.
20. Colocar los componentes de la mesa de iluminación en la caja para
guardarlos.
Montieren des Cubelite Lichttisch-Kits
1. Die Komponenten aus dem Kasten nehmen. Folgende Komponenten

- Hinterlichtstativ und Zwischenstück
Den Lichttisch aus der Schutztasche nehmen.
2. Den Lichttisch auf den Boden legen und das Ende einer der Stangen in
die Ecke der unteren Stahleinfassung führen. Sicherstellen, dass die
Stahleinfassung in die Klauen der Spitze am Ende der Stange greift.
3. Die beiden Stahleinfassungen in entgegengesetzte Richtung ziehen
und die Klauen der Spitze am anderen Ende der Stange in die obere
Einfassung führen.
4. Die Schritte 2 & 3 für die anderen drei Ecken wiederholen. Wenn alle
vier Stangen montiert wurden, kontrollieren, ob sie in ihrer Position
vertikal ausgerichtet sind.
5. Den runden Acrylschirm auf dem Lichttisch aufstellen. (Diesen Schirm
nicht fallenlassen, da er andernfalls zerbricht.)
6. Der Lichttisch ist jetzt vollständig.
7. Den Cubelite auf den Lichttisch stellen und den internen Silber/Weiß-
Reflektor sowie die externe Wolframlampe (die mit dem Cubelite Kit
geliefert wurde) gemäß der separaten Bedienungsanleitung zum
Cubelite Kit aufbauen. An Stelle des weißen Vinyl-Hintergrunds, der mit
dem Cubelite Kit geliefert wurde, die Transparentfolie, die zum
Lieferumfang des Lichttisches gehört, anbringen. So kann das Licht
vom Cubelite Lichttisch durchscheinen.
8. Den Wolframlampenkopf, der mit dem Lichttisch geliefert wurde, auf
dieselbe Weise montieren wie den Lampenkopf, der zum Lieferumfang
des Cubelite Kits gehört.
9. Die drei Beine des Bodenstativs so drehen, dass sie sich in
gleichmäßigem Abstand "fächerförmig" ausbreiten.
10. Das Zwischenstück in das Stativ schieben und die Flügelschraube
festziehen. Das Zwischenstück lässt sich (bei Bedarf) verlängern,
indem man die Flügelschraube am Zwischenstück löst, das Rohr
herauszieht und die Flügelschraube wieder festzieht.
11. Den Lampenkopf oben am Stativ/Zwischenstück befestigen und mit der
Flügelschraube sichern. Die Kunststoffschutzkappe oben am
Zwischenstück muss zunächst entfernt werden.
12. Den Wolframlampenkopf an der Basis der rückseitigen Öffnung des
Lichttisches befestigen. Die Lampe kann (mit Hilfe des Zwischenstücks)
nach unten oder (ohne Zwischenstück) nach oben gerichtet werden.
Auf dem Etikett neben der rückseitigen Öffnung des Lichttisches finden
sich Hinweise zur Positionierung der Lampe.
13. Der Cubelite Lichttisch ist jetzt einsatzbreit.
Zerlegen des Cubelite Lichttisch-Kits
14. Die Transparentfolie entfernen, aufrollen und wieder in die Schutzrolle
führen.
15. Den Cubelite von der Tischfläche entfernen und gemäß der mit dem
Cubelite Kit gelieferten Bedienungsanleitung verpacken.
16. Die Lampen abkühlen lassen, bis sie ohne Verletzungsgefahr berührt
werden können. Die Lampen von den Stativen entfernen und in
geeigneter Weise aufbewahren.
17. Die Stative vollständig zusammenklappen.
18. Den runden Acrylschirm vom Lichttisch entfernen und wieder in die
Schutztasche legen.
19. Die Trägerstangen vom Lichttisch entfernen. Die beiden
Stahleinfassungen aufeinander und dann in die Schutztasche legen.
20. Die Komponenten des Lichttisches in den Aufbewahrungskasten
geben.

Setting up your Cubelite Light Table Kit
Montaggio del Kit Tavolo Luminoso Cubelite
1. Estrarre i pezzi dalla scatola. Essa deve contenere:
- Borsa contenente il Tavolo Luminoso (piatta)
- 4 bacchette di supporto nere
- Lastra acrilica rotonda
- Rotolo con pellicola trasparente
- Lampada Wolfram
- Cavo di corrente per la lampada
- Riflettore per lampada
- Lampadina da 500 W
- Stativo backlight e montante
Estrarre il Tavolo Luminoso dalla custodia.
2. Appoggiare il Tavolo Luminoso sul pavimento e posizionare
l'estremità di una delle bacchette nell'angolo del bordo metallico più
basso. Assicurarsi che il bordo metallico venga collocato
nell'incastro dell'estremità della bacchetta.
3. Tirare i due bordi metallici in direzione opposta e infilare l'incastro
dell'altra estremità della bacchetta nel bordo superiore.
4. Ripetere i passaggi 2 & 3 per i rimanenti tre angoli. Quando tutte le
bacchette sono state montate controllate che esse siano tutte in
posizione verticale.
5. Piazzare la lastra acrilica rotonda sopra il Tavolo Luminoso. (Fate
attenzione a non far cadere la lastra, perchè si romperebbe.)
6. Il Tavolo Luminoso è ora completo.
7. Piazzare il Cubelite sul Tavolo Luminoso e installare sia il riflettore
interno grigio/bianco che la lampada Wolfram (fornita con il kit
Cubelite) seguendo le separate istruzioni per l'uso del kit Cubelite.
Al posto dello sfondo vinilico bianco, fornito con il kit Cubelite,
montare la pellicola trasparente facente parte del kit del Tavolo
Luminoso. Ciò permetterà alla luce del Tavolo Luminoso Cubelite di
trapelare.
8. Montare la lampada Wolfram fornita con il Tavolo Luminoso allo
stesso modo della lampada fornita con il kit Cubelite.
9. Girare i tre piedi dello stativo in modo che si allarghino a distanza
uguale.
10. Infilare il montante nello stativo e stringere la vite ad alette. In caso
di bisogno il montante può essere prolungato allentando la vite ad
alette del montante, estraendo il tubo e stringendo nuovamente la
vite ad alette.
11. Fissare la lampada sullo stativo/montante e stringere la vite ad
alette. Il coperchietto di plastica sopra il montante deve essere
prima tolto.
12. Fissare la lampada Wolfram nella base dell'apertura posteriore del
Tavolo Luminoso. La lampada può essere puntata verso il basso
(con l'uso del montante) o verso l'alto (senza montante).
Nell'etichetta vicino all'apertura del Tavolo Luminoso ci sono
indicazioni su come deve essere posizionata la lampada.
13. Il Tavolo Luminoso Cubelite è ora pronto per l'uso.
Smontaggio del Kit Tavolo Luminoso Cubelite
14. Rimuovere la pellicola trasparente, arrotolarla e riporla nella
custodia.
15. Togliere il Cubelite dal Tavolo Luminoso e confezionarlo secondo le
istruzioni fornite con il Cubelite.
16. Far raffreddare le lampade finché possono essere toccate senza
pericolo. Smontarle dallo stativo e conservarle in maniera
adeguata.
17. Piegare completamente gli stativi.
18. Rimuovere dal Tavolo Luminoso la lastra acrilica rotonda e riporla
nella custodia.
19. Togliere dal Tavolo Luminoso le bacchette di supporto. Mettere i
due bordi metallici uno sopra l'altro e riporli nella custodia.
20. Riporre tutti i pezzi del Tavolo Luminoso nella custodia.
Installer votre kit Cubelite Light Table
1. Sortez chaque produit composant le kit de l'emballage. Vous devez
avoir :
- Un sac (plat) contenant la Light Table
- 4 x tiges d'assemblage noires
- Une plaque de support en Plexiglas
- Un rouleau de diffuseur translucide
- Une torche tungstène
- Un câble secteur pour torche
- Un réflecteur bol
- Base et colonne télescopique
Déballez la Light Table de son sac de protection
2. Posez la Light Table sur le sol et positionnez l'extrémité d'une des
tiges au niveau du coin inférieur de l'anneau en acier.
Assurez vous que l'anneau soit bien fixé dans la fente prévue à cet
effet à l'extrémité de la tige.
3. Séparez les deux anneaux en acier et fixez l'autre extrémité de la
tige dans l'anneau supérieur.
4. Recommencez les étapes 2 & 3 pour les trois coins restants.
Lorsque les quatre tiges sont en place, vérifiez qu'elles soient bien
en position verticale.
5. Mettez la plaque en Plexiglas sur la Light Table (prenez garde de
ne pas la faire tomber, elle se casserait)
6. La Light Table est maintenant montée.
7. Mettez votre Cubelite sur la Light Table et positionnez votre
éclairage comme recommandé dans la notice du kit cubelite. Au
lieu d'attacher le fond en vinyle fourni avec le kit Cubelite, attachez
le diffuseur translucide (fourni avec la Light Table) à l'intérieur du
Cubelite. La lumière ainsi produite par la torche arrière éclairera à
travers ce diffuseur.
8. Assemblez la torche tungstène, fournie avec le kit Light Table de la
même façon que la torche fournie avec le kit Cubelite.
9. Faites tourner les trois branches de la base afin de la stabiliser.
10. Insérez la colonne télescopique dans le pied et sécurisez avec les
papillons prévus à cet effet. Allongez la colonne télescopique en
desserrant les papillons, puis bloquez avec les papillons pour
sécuriser la position.
11. Attachez la torche au pied et sécurisez la position en utilisant les
papillons prévus à cet effet. Vous devez enlevez préalablement le
capuchon protecteur noir qui se trouve à l'extrémité de la colonne
télescopique.
12. Positionnez la torche tungstène à la base ouverte arrière de la
Light Table. La torche peut pointer vers le bas ou vers le haut.
Reportez vous à la notice placée à l'arrière de la Light Table pour
positionner votre éclairage.
13. Votre Light Table Cubelite est maintenant prête à l'emploi.
Démonter votre kit Cubelite Light Table
14. Enlever le diffuseur translucide, roulez le et remettez le dans son
tube protecteur.
15. Enlevez le Cubelite de dessus la Light Table, et pliez le comme il
vous l'est indiqué dans la notice explicative livrée avec le Cubelite.
16. Enlevez et ranger votre système d'éclairage. Laissez le refroidir au
préalable.
17. Pliez les pieds.
18. Enlevez la plaque en Plexiglas de dessus la Light Table et
remettez la dans son sac d'emballage.
19. Démontez les tiges d'assemblage et pliez la Light Table : les deux
anneaux en acier doivent se superposer. Ranger les dans leur sac
d'emballage.
20. Remettez tous ces éléments dans la boite de stockage de la Light
Table.
