This unit has been designed and built according to international
safety standards. These warnings are given for safety reasons and
must be carefully followed.
Please read these instructions carefully and retain this document.
•Install in accordance with the current IEE Wiring Regulations
and current Building Regulations.
•Ensure another person cannot restore electrical supply without
your knowledge.
•If in doubt installation should be carried out by a registered
electrician and an Electrical Installation Certificate must be
issued for work carried out.
•Always shut off power to the circuit before starting installation
work.
•Only use the Bulb Wattage recommended by the label on the
lamp holder or lower. Never Exceed Recommended Wattage.
•When changing a bulb, switch off at mains, allow bulb 15-20
minutes to cool before handling. Dispose of used bulbs in
accordance with local regulations.
•This product is suitable for indoor use only.
•Laura Ashley work hard with some of the best suppliers
available to be sure that the quality of our product does not
disappoint. Please inspect the unit before installation and
speak to customer services if there is an issue. Issues are more
difficult to rectify once the unit is installed.
•The crystals are fragile; the edge will chip easily if they come
into contact with other surfaces.
•Please clean using a damp cloth, do not use abrasive cleaners or
multi-purpose sprays, they may affect the finish.
•The flexible cable on this luminaire, if damaged, shall only be
replaced by the manufacturer or his service agent or a similar
qualified person.
•Position out of direct sunlight.
•This is a Class II product.
•For indoor use only; the lamp should be placed on a flat,
stable surface when assembling.
•Place the shade over the lamp holder, and then secure
with shade ring.
•Unwind the cable fully and ensure there are no snags or
twists in the cable.
•Fit bulb (not included).
•Do not cover. Keep away from curtains, bedding etc.
•Always route the mains cable so it does not present a
hazard (entrapment, tripping etc.) and must be placed on
a flat and stable surface.
•If in doubt at any time stop and consult a professional
tradesman.
•Always completely unplug from mains and allow to cool
before changing the bulb.
•Plug into the mains supply; switch on using the inline cord
switch provided.
•If moving this lamp, always carry by holding the stand part
and base.
