1. Please read carefully these safety instructions.
2. Keep this User's Manual for future reference.
3. Unplug the equipment from the AC before cleaning.
4. Do not use liquid or sprayed detergent for cleaning.
5. Use a cloth for cleaning.
6. Do not expose this equipment to humidity.
7. Install this equipment in a safe surface. If the equipment is not in a safe surface, it
may fall and be damaged.
8. The openings on the enclosure are for air convection. Do not allow overheat. DO
NOT COVER THE OPENINGS.
9. Place the power cord where people will not step or stumble. Do not place objects on
the power cord.
10.Always observe all warnings and precautions the equipment might indicate.
11. If the equipment is not used for several days, disconnect the power supply to
prevent damage from overloading. Never pour liquid into the openings, this could
cause fire or electric shock.
12.Never open the equipment. For safety reasons, the equipment should only be
opened by qualified personnel.
13.Pay attention to connection polarity when operating the machine with a power
supply (DC). Reverse connection polarity may cause damage to the equipment, or
to the power supply.
14.Let staff check the equipment if any of these situations occur:
a) The power cord or power plug is damaged.
b) Liquid has penetrated inside the equipment.
c) The equipment has been exposed to moisture.
d) The equipment does not work well or does not work according to the instruction
manual.
e) The equipment was dropped and damaged.
f) If the equipment has obvious signs of damage.
15.Disconnect the audio inputs and outputs while making connections. Be sure to use
the proper cables to make the connections.

3. DESCRIPTION
The LDA RCD-21R is an all-in-one multi-audio source player that includes a CD/DVD
player, a FM/AM radio, and USB and SD cards interfaces.
It is an energy-efficient and cost-effective equipment that is able to deliver pro-audio level
performance.

Format selection button:
Users are allowed to play Audios, Videos, Pictures accordingly
displaying MP3\DVD\P in a stop situation under USB\SD\DVD modes

Stop button:
Press the button to stop the playback if the song is being stop under
DVD/USB/SD card mode.

Play/Pause button: Play and pause the playback

Previous: Back to the previous song. Long press for quick song selection in reverse order.

Next:
Jump to the next song. Long press for quick song selection in order.

Mute: Press this button at any time to mute the song under DVD/USB/SD mode. An “N”
will be shown on LCD screen

Audio channel selection: In the DVD\CD\VCD mode, users can switch left\right audio
channel and stereo, the information of which is displayed via video output. The command is
invalid in other modes.

Volume down: Volume number from 00—31(max.). Adjustment view will display at LCD
screen bottom right for 2s before returning to previous view.

Volume up: Volume number from 00—31(max.). Adjustment view will display at LCD
screen bottom right for 2s before returning to previous view.

FM sound channel selection button: Users can switch STERO or NONO status in FM
mode. FM/AM LCD screen displays L+R and L

Switch button: Switch modes in FM/AM POWER. Long-press the button to POWER
ON/OFF.

Previous: Manual search button under FM/AM modes. Press once to reduce signal
frequency by 0.1MHZ. Long press for auto searching previous items. Choose previous preset
radio programs

Next: Manual search button under FM/AM modes. Press once to increase signal
frequency by 0.1MHZ. Long press for auto searching next items. Choose next preset radio
programs

Read prestored radio program: Press the button to read the prestored radio program;
press the Previous or Next to select the radio program; press the button again to confirm.

Save current radio program: Press the button to save current radio program with the
FM/AM LCD screen displaying PROG; press Previous or Next to select the radio program;
press the button again to save.

6. SETUP
6.1 Preparation
:
Before setting up the project, make sure the following work has been done: auxiliary tools, auxiliary
materials, wires and check the package.
1) Auxiliary Tools:
Get the following tools ready for setup: anti-static wrist strap, anti-static gloves, wire peeler
and a wire cutter.
2) Auxiliary Materials:
Get the following materials ready for setup: insulating tape, wire clip and a cable label.

) Wires:
We suggest users choose high quality wires made for professional transmission and large
batch speakers. Longer the distance, thicker the cables they should be. Choose the proper
cables according to the project.
4) Package Checking
Make sure that the package appearance is intact before opening the package. Identify and
check the number of the Packing List. Contact your dealer from whom you bought this
product if anything is missing or damaged.
6.2 Power connection
Plug the power cord into the RCD-21R power jack on the rear panel Caution: Turn off the
equipment's power before connecting. Carefully plug in. The power cord and signal wires should be
separated. DO NOT route them in a same slot or wire jacket. RS485 control signal wire should be
routed away from 100V audio cable or power cord to avoid signal interference.
6.3
FM/ DAB Antenna Connection
Connect rod antenna’s SMA connector with FM/DAB ANT interface on the rear panel of RCD-21R.
Caution Stretch FM/DAB rod antenna and put it at a strong-signal spot for better sound quality.
6.4 Audio Cable Connection
1. RCD-21R has two audio outputs.
2. Connect CD/USB/SD audio output interface and pre amplifier line input interface
with the two ends of an audio cable.
3. Connect FM/DAB audio output interface and pre amplifier line input interface with
the two ends of an audio cable
.
6.5 Debug & Commissioning
After finishing the unit installation and cable connections of RCD-21R, commissioning should be
conducted to ensure RCD-21R’s working correctly.
Press the power switch on RCD-21R front panel. If the two LCD screens on the front
panel display work status of the two channels, RCD-21R is in working correctly.
